The summer camp I went to as a kid!

It's so surreal to see these actors walk around a camp I know like the back of my hand! I've been in those buildings and walked that bridge so many times!

It's funny to me knowing this Catholic retreat is actually a Presbyterian-run camp. And it's extra hilarious if you know the *ahem* subject matter of the film ;)

Alice (Yes, God, Yes)

Alice is an inexperienced but very horny student at a Midwestern Catholic high school in the year 2000. With the state of Catholic high school sex education curriculum, it's unlikely she even knows what circumcision beyond an abstract ritual mentioned in the Bible. She's probably heard some of the girls at school make jokes about how gross it is for a boy to have a "turtleneck", but there's no way she understood them.

She looks at a lot of internet porn and she spies on a girl in her class giving a boy a blowjob, and she probably worked as a babysitter at some point too, but it's the American Midwest in the year 2000, so all of those penises were almost certainly circumcised.

She plans to go to college on either the east or west coast, and she'll probably see her first foreskin there (and maybe even enjoy it), but when it comes time to have kids of her own, she'll almost definitely stick with what's normal to her.

Let me just say that this scene was so awkward and embarrassing!

The movie is Yes, God, Yes (2019), it stars Natalia Dyer (Alice), Wolfgang Novogratz (Chris), Francesca Reale (Laura) and many more people. This movie is a comedy/ drama, it's about a Catholic girl (Dyer) finds herself having tempting thoughts after an AOL chat turns racy, it's set in the early 2000's.

The scene that's portrayed at the top of the post is probably one of the most embarrassing things I've seen in a movie. Basically, Alice has a crush on this guy (Chris), a girl in the back hurts her arms and Chris checks it out. Alice gets a little jealous. She fake falls and "twists" her ankle to get his attention. Chris ends up carrying her the rest of the way.

It gives me such second hand embarrassment!
