About Episodes 7 and 8...MASSIVE SPOILERS!!

Initial thoughts (because if I talk about EVERYTHING right now you'll be here for at least half an hour)...

WHAT THE HELL?!

I mean I loved getting to watch the season finale, don't get me wrong. But I have just as many grievances as things I loved about it and also SO MUCH happened?!?!?!

Charlie: Loved getting to see her be all demon-y, I've been waiting all season. Also loved her and the cannibals (especially Rosie!!!). So glad she got to work w/ Luci to protect the hotel <333 She and Vaggie are adorable too.

Vaggie: I really enjoyed watching her and Carmilla's song, that was cool. Protecting her girlfriend, very cute. I liked seeing her and Lute have that little face-off.

Husk: Sad that we didn't get to see much of him, but I get it. His interactions with the others were sweet (especially Angel). I loved the one line he got to sing on his own in that last song of episode 8. 😍

Angel: Ngl I am very glad he wasn't the one to die. It would've been a fun little "oh crap" moment but I really didn't want to be right. He's still got business down there. His interactions with the others here are everything to me, and he's just grown so much and aaaaaa. It's lovely to see! I love him more and more with every episode.

Niffty: YOU GO, GIRL!!!! Love to see the stabbing. I also really loved the...one line Nifty got. Kimiko Glenn's voice is a gift, I freaked out over getting to hear one line. Anyway. not much else to say other than I definitely thought it was Alastor doing a big "oh look, I'm alive!" thing when Adam got stabbed, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Cherri Bomb/Sir P: I was surprised, to say the least, when Cherri and Sir P had that little moment. Glad they got it before he went and DIED. Cherri is such a good friend to Angel and she's great. Now, onto Sir P...WOW, OKAY. Glad we know Charlie's plan isn't completely stupid. Wonder how Sera's gonna react to him being there now, lol.

The Vees: FIRST OFF, VOX?????? "This is better than sex!" 💀💀💀 Truly was not expecting to see as much of the Vees as we did. Not complaining though. It was...interesting...to say the least, watching Vox get as excited as he did over the prospect of Al dying (still as obsessed as ever, fr). Not at all surprised to see Val and Vox have a thing going, I figured from the interactions we've seen so far. Them dancing together was silly, them practically making out was less so 😃. Also, gotta continue the love for Velvette--putting up with these two idiots must take a lot. Also also, her HAIR! HER HAIR!! EEEEE

Lucifer: I reallllyyyyyy enjoyed seeing Luci make a return to help Charlie, even if it was in one of those "last-minute saves" that I usually hate. Idk, makes sense here I guess because he's probably always watching over Charlie some way. ALSO LUCI AND CHARLIE GOING ALL DEMON-Y TOGETHER WAS <33333333 I really loved him starting off that last song in episode 8, and telling Charlie that he believes in her. It was so sweet. I love Luci sm, hoping he becomes a more integral part of the crew in s2.

Adam/Lute/Lilith: HAHA HOW DOES IT FEEL TO LOSE??? Lute got what she deserved with the whole...arm thing. ALSO WHAT--JUST GONNA CASUALLY DROP LILITH IN HERE NOW? Sure, fine, whatever, totally cool. Not sure how to feel about Lilith atm so moving on. I dunno why I was so shocked upon seeing Adam's face. I guess I expected him to...not look as good as he does? Also so upset that he broke Al's staff. How rude. He sucks.

Rosie: Not how I expected her to sound, but I'm most certainly not disappointed. I don't have much to say other than I loved literally everything about her. No complaints--at least not yet ig, need to go back and rewatch the episodes critically. Her and Alastor is everything to me, and seeing them dance was <333333 I cannot express my excitement over it enough.

Alastor: Saved him for last because yes. If I wasn't limiting myself to a short paragraph for each, I'd be writing a whole essay just about Al, I swear....CANNOT believe what just happened omg. Not only did we get to see silly Al in episode 7, but we got to see scary (and scared) Al in episode 8. He's really freaking out, it's so entertaining! I'm so glad it wasn't him who died, I started getting a bit worried for a minute there....His relationship with Rosie is aaaaa, best of besties fr. Fighting Adam scene was glorious. Making Vox act like an idiot even when not trying was funny to watch (Vox's obsession with this guy is so silly). Him retreating sure was a move, but I'm glad he didn't get all stubborn and end up dying. Him ranting a bit in his section of the final song was so...AAAAAAA. Man is so scared, he looks stressed as can be. I need to see Alastor just have an external breakdown because he honestly feels like he's on the verge of one. 💀

Stopping for now before I go on a bigger rant than I already have. To those who read all this, I'm so sorry pfft. Feel free to leave a comment if there's something you wanna discuss (or, better yet, send one of those ask thingies. I do not have comments figured out yet...)

"You can't go," Dazai argued, "not on your own, you'll just get yourself killed."

"I'm not a child, Osamu, I can handle myself," you retorted, angry that he wouldn't even hear you out. "Fukuzawa seems to think so, at least."

"And that's all well and good but what if you get caught?! You'll be totally alone and have no one to get you out of there-"

"I'll be fine, Osamu. The Agency is going to be monitoring my every move, you know that."

"And I know the Mafia. I can't risk loosing you like that."

Stepping close to him, you placed a hand gently to the side of his face, melting a little as he pressed a soft kiss to your palm. So that's what it was.

"Ill only be gone a week, love, it's just routine reconnaissance."

"I don't want you alone, y/n, especially not when it's the Mafia in question."

You smiled, sure of yourself as you tried reassuring Dazai's nerves.

"Don't think about the Mafia. Just believe in what I can do."

That had been a week and a half ago, and Dazai knew he should've trusted his instincts right then and there; asked Fukuzawa if he could go with you or if you could go with someone at the very least.

You were supposed to have returned from your mission two, then three days ago. You had been gone for a week and a half now, bordering two, only one of which was planned, and no one from the Agency had heard from you since you'd successfully slipped past Port Mafia lines on the first day. Dazai had been worried then, yes, but at least he was aware of your positioning at all times; though they couldn't hear your voice, you were sending valuable records of the Mafia's movements whenever you could. At least that way they knew you were alive, and still in a position to be informing them.

But after your time was up, the update stopped coming in, which wouldn't have been alarming if you hadn't vanished along with them. Two days ago, you'd been reported officially MIA, with the Agency in turmoil looking for you.

Dazai was a wreck.

Everyone could see it, and it was horrible to watch him spiral. Kunikida was shorter than ever, dark circles under both of their eyes growing sharp and prominent as the days passed. His partner was in a state; clothes disheveled as he paced the streets with Atsushi, passing the hours wondering if you were ok.

It's my fault, he thought to himself, exhaustion fogging his mind while his body kept moving mindlessly. I should've done more to keep her safe. Now she's disappeared and it's my fault. Oh god if she's dead or being hurt I swear-

I can't loose her, too. Not after everything.

When you had met, the Agency was still in it's infancy. From the beginning, though, he'd been fascinated by you. The way you worked, fought, anything; it all amazed him. Like an angel of the battlefield you had a sharp mind and an ability you used as an extension of your very being. You made him laugh without trying, until he fell hard-

To which you lifted him back to his feet, pressing sweet kisses to his lips and smiling ever so gently at him; the way you had since the very start.

You had never hid from his darkest parts, far from it. Instead, as he revealed himself to you, you wove light where you could, holding his heart against the world with hands gentle as summer rain.

And if he lost you now, after knowing exactly how bright the world felt loving you, Dazai knew he would break.

The vibrations of his phone shook him from his thoughts, Kunikida's number showing up on the screen as he answered. What he said next elated and terrified him in equal measure, sending him running down the street towards the harbor with Atsushi right behind him.

"We found her, down at the harbor. Get your ass down here now. Yosano's on her way."

If Yosano was there then that meant- no. He couldn't stand to think about that now.

In minutes he was by the water, searching for Kunikida from where he stood. When he finally found him, though, he was met with a sight that had him frozen in horror.

You were lying on the ground, Yosano at your side hiding from view the middle of your body. Though you were unconscious, Dazai could see your face contort in pain as she worked, sweat beading your skin which was frighteningly pale. When he moved to the side slightly, he could see a dark gash, wide and jagged, that had been torn into your side. Kunikida was kneeling at your other side, finger on your pulse while Dazai watched, able to do nothing as Yosano did her work in silence.

Please, he prayed, haven't I lost enough? I know I don't deserve her, that I never will, but please, if I ever did anything right or good, don't take her from me. Not here. Not like this.

This wasn't how it was supposed to happen. You were never supposed to be on the ground, slowly bleeding out after being missing for days. You were never supposed to be in so much danger.

"Her pulse is getting weaker," Kunikida sated calmly, Yosano nodding as she continued to work.

"Y/n, please," Dazai whispered, his own pulse racing as Atsushi tried his best to keep him upright. "Please, don't leave me like this. You can't, not after everything."

He refused to be cheated out of a life with you; the idea alone was too much for him to bear. You both deserved better, that he knew for certain. The minutes ticked by, time continuing in it's unrelenting march while you slipped between life and death. Gently, Dazai replaced Kunikida at your side, taking your hand between his own while he cradled your head in his lap.

"Dazai," Yosano finally murmured, "my ability is powerful but there's only so much I can do past a certain point-"

"Then do it. Do what you need to, but keep her alive."

"That's just my point," she replied, "I'm doing everything I can but her body seems to be resisting the treatment. There's only so much I can do if my patient is essentially giving up.

I'm sorry but you may need to be prepared to loose her."

"I can't," he whispered back, even Kunikida casting his eyes down in sorrow next to Atsushi as everyone realized what was happening. "She promised me she would be ok, she promised she would come home and be ok and safe and-"

"Dazai. Please."

Looking back at her, Dzai's heart broke to see her dark eyes brimming with tears. Already, she knew where this went. She knew how it ended, and so did he.

"Just..let me say goodbye, will you?"

She nodded, leaving without another word. With Dazai's eyes fixed on your motionless body she let Kunikida lead her away, leaving him alone as your life ebbed away.

"Hello, love," he whispered, smiling down on your face. Like this, he could almost pretend you were sleeping. He could almost fool himself into thinking any moment your eyes would open again, bright even shrouded with sleep, warm with the very essence of you. gingerly, he pulled you into his arms, your head resting against his chest as he prepared to let you go. "I don't know if you can even hear me like this, but if I have to say goodbye-" he felt a sob push it's way through him, ruining him completely as he really began to cry over you. "Just remember I love you more than I ever though I could love a person. You saved me, y/n, and I will always be in love with you, always and forever, that I will promise you. You're the part of me that completed me, but I understand if you need to go. It's alright love, I promise.

I understand someone as bright as you, someone who loves and lives fierce as a star, can only burn so long and I'm grateful for every single moment I could call you mine."

With that, he pressed his last kiss to your lips, tucking your head into the crook of shoulder, steadying himself with the sound of you breathing, your heart beating gently against his own, a silent symphony taking shape between you both, pulling him apart fully.

"Thank you, y/n, for the gift of loving you."

"Don't ever stop loving me, that's how to thank me."

Letting your head fall back from it's place, Dazai felt shock and all the best kinds of joy fight their way through his heart, every shade in your eyes revealed to him again as you smiled weakly back to him.

You were alive

"But I don't-"

"I don't either," you replied, tears of joy making those eyes he adored shine under the now golden light of a setting sun. "I don't know either, but I'm here again and-"

This time it was your words that were stolen and then flung to the furthest corners of a violet sky as Dazai pressed his lips to yours, taking the air from your lungs as you breathed him in, the both of you drunk on each other and giddy with love purer than white light.

It wasn't enough.

You wanted him closer, he wanted you both suspended in a moment like this one forever.

If every kiss could mean as much as that one, if every moment could be painted in a bliss so sweet, he knew there was no heaven that could mean as much as a lifetime loving you.

And as long as he did love you, such an eternity was his to call home.

The expressway to Rwanda, that is the path Nigeria is fast speeding into. Yet, this path is not a new path to us. It’s a familar terrain that we have taken before. In 1966, long before even the Rwandan path was paved. We wasted over 3 million people as hundreds of innocent souls were slaughtered before even the war started.

Long before the Rwandan path was paved, religious differences and ethnic intolerance as being repeated today, led to a civil war that took our best, took our leaders, took innocent souls and took us backward.

So, it’s either history is unfair to us or our leaders are blind to it. Indeed, the death meant to kill a dog does not allow her to smell faeces. And, like the saying goes, those who do not understand history are bound to repeat it.

Even if we hadn’t experienced a civil war before, what happened in Free Town, Monrovia, Abidjan in recent history ought to have taught us a lesson. The way Tripoli was turned from a fast developing city into a slave town where war lords reign should serve as a lesson.

But no, we learnt nothing. Just 50 years after, when those that played major role to the last civil war are still alive, here the snowball of war goes rolling down from the snow mountain of stupid arrogance, gathering with it all the ethnic intolerance and religious divide that paved the path of Rwandan.

On the expressway to Rwandan, citizens got killed, innocent girls are violated, mothers raped, farmers throat slit, people going about their businesses are killed at gun point and nothing was done about it. From Enugu, Kaduna South, Bornu, Bauchi, Zamfara, Adamawa, Nasarawa, Taraba, Plateau down to Benue, the Rwandan experience is going on.

You might feel secure today because you move around with escorts, but when Rwanda will arrive it will only be war lords that will be escorted. There will be no senator, Federal or State House member, because each zone will be manned by war lords that legislate the rule of law. When Rwanda will arrive there will be no governor, no minister, no government officials because there was none in Rwanda, each area will have a war lord that will be lord of the law.

Haunting memories of Rwanda in media headlines

In fact, like Rwanda, Nigeria has become a place where we hear 6 killed, 24 injured and we are like it’s small.

Like Rwanda, schools have closed in so many villages due to the attack of war lords struggling for territories and the government of the day are helpless about it. Nigeria is seriously drifting towards Rwanda, but some people instead of speaking out and saying the truth are clapping and urging the president to go on as if nothing is happening. But, when Rwanda will arrive, there would be no oil money to share, no nation to govern and all the major oil fields will be controlled by Niger Delta war lords. So keep on clapping and praising the government while pregnant women are being slaughtered.

Keep on talking about 2019 while innocent children are being murdered. but when blu died from whatever happened (it was an instant accident kinda deal, like a stumble+fall or smthin) and everyone kinda freaked n left, luego was the last one to leave

bc he geuinly didnt know what to do n so he hung back just staring in horror and trying to think of some other option until the grouo called back like "dUDE LETS GO" or smthin n he judt made a rlly frustrated / upset noise before glancing over one last time apologetically / "this is so fucked" kinda look at blu n then turning to run with the rest
