#yesterday i realized my new coworker knows very little abt cats and when she learns a new thing about one she automatically applies it to#All Cats because she doesnt know any better#bc i was telling her that i was holding a very kitten the day before and she wasnt really responding or putting up a fight about it. wasnt#squirming around and acting like a kitten and that was really worrying me#because the last time i had a cat act like that she ended up dying (not solely by my own neglect#but bc clinic also dropped so many balls i handed to them)#and then the kitten ended up hospitalized the next day (again. clinic dropping balls i was begging them to catch)#and then later i was holding a different kitten that was just curled up in a little ball on my lap bc he was scared and i said something abt#how timid he was and my coworker went 'oh so hes not sick??' and i had to reassure her that not Every cat that sits still for a while is#gonna die#sighs#i was like. aw shit i gave her a new fear
