Black Pearl's Gem: What’s your inspiration for this season?

Yetty D: Inspiration this season includes cotton candy; expect the brand's signature on hand-painted jerseys with artistic attitude.

Black Pearl's Gem: Music on the Catwalk (MOC) - a very inspirational event. In what way has music influenced your designs?

Yetty D: Music is a major part of my brand; I’m highly influenced by music, which sort of brings my designs to life.

Black Pearl's Gem: Do you think that the fashion industry should embrace different cultures and ethnicities?

Yetty D: I for one think fashion is starting to embrace different cultures, as different cultures them selves are starting to make their own stamp in the fashion industry, I believe everybody is starting to realise there is a lot they can offer to the industry. It is a slow process though but I believe we will get there.
