soo I forgot tumblr existed but i've been slowly making a lil Arc V fan game thing in google slides^^,,

The story is an alternate edgier version of what the events of Arc V couldve looked like after Yuya's Raging Dragon fight vs Serena/Ruri. In this story Akaba Leo realizes he needs to eliminate the threat of Zarc returning by any means necessary, even if it means being needlessly cruel.

Always been kinda too scared to write fanfics and stuff so.. I figured writing a story in more of a game/visual novel sorta format would be more my style and be sorta fun because I can have multiple endings and player choices :>

I managed to add a lil dueling minigame, I'm currently working on trying to make my dialogue fit with each of the characters (specifically their jp versions) and I plan to add custom sprites for when characters talk to eachother :)

I wanna find some people to help me test the dueling minigame and help check if im actually writing everyone in character TWT. ngl p scared ill accidentally write someone kinda weird, especially Yuto and mayyybe Yuri? I feel like having some criticism would help me make this lil project really cool :> If you're interested in it and/or dont mind lending me a hand to help me improve what ive got feel free to reach out :0

Action… Duel! | Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Episode 2 "Dub-Uncut" (ENG Dub w/ JP OST) - WIP #2 (WIP #1) (Series Masterpost)

Getting back to polishing up what I've worked on for episode 2 here, after getting more GX-finalizing (with my subs for episode 131 just finalized) and TFSP-re-translating done; I've done some more leveling and finalizing of the audio, currently up to the end of the Yuya/Yuzu duel, and I'd say everything here is about final, barring some minor tweaks I might make as I listen back to the full thing later.

A lot of episode 2, being more series/worldbuilding setup, is handled decently overall by 4K, so this is one section where, outside of the Action Duel chant and some de-fluffing/line rearrangements to match the original Japanese script more, I didn't have to make too many changes. One thing was that part of Yuzu's shout at the crowd about being the villain was cut for time (the full line being "Then, that's what I'll be--the villain!", the "the villain!" part was trimmed), so I threw in some audio from episode 29's dub trying to have her say "Now, enjoy it!" for some cover, lol. I then moved Shuzou's (more or less accurate) lines about how good the augmented reality system is to be timed per the Japanese script and remove the added fluff about his taking off his trunks and taking a swim… Then, for the Action Duel chant, I repurposed their lines from Duel Links adapting the chant from the Japanese version, adding in some extra bits from their other Duel Links lines to pad them out and fill their lip-flaps; I do like how it came out, but I also added an alternate take at the end using the original dub lines which still adapted some of the chant to show how that sounds with the original OST--which one sounds better if you were to go into it not having heard the dub? 🤔 lol

Anywho, lemme know what you think! Hope to wrap with the audio-leveling sometime soon, but first I'll be going back to TFSP for a bit. Stay tuned--the fun's just getting started!
