1) the character everyone gets wrong - I was going to do a Meursault hot take here but I am kind of afraid of his fans and how badly they misunderstand him in a desire to make him fit some "secret heart of gold" trope. Which he very much does not have. Well I guess I just did that anyways. I still really like him as a character, the way he cares more about the job than his own morals because he Has None and Cannot Have Them. like it's interesting ! i wish he had more lines sometimes ! The babyfication of Sinclair also needs a shout out of course <3 get away from him. He doesn't just kill people he murders them, just because he's crying while he's doing it doesn't make him an innocent little baby who can do no wrong.

16) you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc) - okay here is a hot take. what the fuck does "not insane kromer" mean. why does it exist. her whole character is being a fascist cult leader. what if she went UwU and was a normal girl is sooo like. why are you doing that to her... also i am normally not someone who gets mad about the use of "insane" in contexts like these, I use it casually like that all the time but sometimes it is just So Strange to see people call it specifically a "not insane" AU and then still very much view her as mentally ill, just no longer into genocide. I don't know, I've been having a lot of Kromer fanon thoughts lately as I try to write her in my fic and I am realllllyyy uncomfortable with the way the fandom views her ideology to kill the people she doesn't view as real humans worth of life and whatever is going on with her brain. It feels really gross and uninformed. Stop it. Get some Help.

23) ship you've unwillingly come around to - meurdon and yiclair. while thinking over how wrong 90% of meur fans are I realized they were actually cooking with the don thing. yiclair was tough because the vast majority of art I've seen of it makes sinclair look like he's 12 years old and it makes me see red but the more i think about yi sang and him being little freaks together and how the yi sang weird speech habits are kinda Demian-ish the more I'm like okaayyy they are on to something
