I think im going to start practicing qigong.

#to be honest most days after work im way too tired for yoga #and i could use a shake up #id also be lying if i said the thought of actual chi focus didnt entice me #bc it does #bc im a nerd #and qigong is good for getting into tai chi #and ive had a hankering to practice a martial art again #so here it all is in writing to hold myself accountable #plus i just did a very basic pressure point breathing exercise following along a vid #with qigong meditation #my new best friend brother insight #brought a huge smile to my face #good for me #aaaaanywhooo #:]

shit dude it is unbelievable just how generally better I feel not being in school atm. i hope working full time doesn’t drain me as much as school does.

#i did work full time with no classes for about a year #but i had just moved out of my parents house and away from all my family and was in a horrible living situation #but holy shit i feel like a human #did you guys know that reading what you want with no deadlines is fun??#and trying new recipes??#and did you know it’s possible to do the dishes and not have your energy and mood completely drained???#and oh my gosh have you tried yoga? this shit rocks dude #hopefully this doesn’t all end when i go to my parents house in a few days #and hopefully i can make it through two more semesters and find a job that doesn’t kill me #personal

wow it's the first day in like who even knows how long that i don't feel completely depleted of energy and let me tell u . i REALLY didn't know that life doesn't have to be a constant struggle

#like i know this probably sounds so dramatic but i genuinely feel like #the level of fatigue i'd convinced myself was normal or like. treatable with caffeine and pushing myself anyways ... it was rly taking #so much of me away from myself and everyone around me. and i wanted to cry thinking abt that while i was FINALLY doing yoga again #for the first time in months bc i finally felt like i could manage it #and i'm not going to get my hopes up that this will be my new normal any time soon but i really really am hoping that gradually it will be #and there will be more days where i feel like this to remind me that it's possible #i don't want to lose any more life to being sick and tired :<#and i HAVE been feeling better generally but i hadn't had a day where i was so surprised to feel so clear headed & with it until today #erithoughts

i know our harshest critics are ourselves so i know this is silly but so many of my mutuals are such incredibly kind and compassionate people who are full of love and wonder for the world and i want to be a better person for them. i hope i can be better i want to be the wind in their sails and witness their greatness as they soar. Words can lose their meaning after a whileaaa so i hope somewhere across the land and sea they feel a little warmth or see the first fall of snow, taste their new favorite drink or get the comfiest hug. I don’t know how to share appreciation without feeling self- centered but i hope they know my gratitude ❤️

#i signed up for a yoga class because lately my me tal health has been unbalanced #i feel sometimes like icarus if he gravitated the sun in perpetual fire #at some point we need to fly back and see things from a new perspective #im getting existing closer to my values and for that im grateful but i would really like to push that further #i want to embody gratitude and compassion and one day with hard work i can get there #:)#ty for reading to here if you did #it can be a bit hard to write this much in general but it helps knowing its out of my hands
