His – I Didn't Think I Would Fall In Love
Just binged this delightful little 2019 coming-of-age series from Japan thanks to the recommendation from @lurkingshan. It's a short and sweet five episode story of teenagers coming to grips with love. The surfing setting took me back to beach summers in Santa Cruz so this also hit my nostalgia button. Sweet, funny and enjoyed the main characters' voyages into maturity.
Also, great hug to end the show.

So because L’s actor in the second live-action Death Note movie occasionally pulls this face that makes him look like an older version of Toshio from the Ju-On franchise, I have at times wished for a really trippy AU in which L was actually some kind of vengeful spirit the whole time, and one way or another Watari was one of the only things keeping him from going full Curse Mode or whatever, so killing Watari kind of winds up backfiring spectacularly. At least in part because it would be funny to watch Light frantically trying to improvise his way out of this one/convince himself this is actually part of the plan. Bonus points if the shinigami somehow knew this was going to happen, but went along with it anyway because, for Rem, she figured it would be fitting, and for Ryuk, he thought it would be funny.
