if comic artists don't stop drawing flash thompson with his pants inexplicably tucked into his fucking prosthetic legs i'm gonna start biting people
#there are so many problems with the way people draw his legs and literally all of them would be alleviated#by a SINGLE google search for ''above knee prosthetics''#Like LITERALLY one single google search and looking at even one single image of a real human being#you don't tuck your JEANS or your CARGO shorts into the sockets#the sockets go ALL the way to the groin#(admittedly that one is a bit harder to tell but that's cause you can just. wear pants over them!)#you wear SHOES with them if they aren't running blades#you can just draw him in pants and shoes also!#people with prosthetic legs still wear pants like other people lmao#also i don't care if it's comics because this kind of dismissal of research shows just how little people care about disability#it's an afterthought in every way and it reflects the real world attitudes people have where it doesn't actually matter#you can just make shit up because who cares about what disabilities are actually like#and i hate that mentality a lot
