I forget to use this too much when i'm coloring, but it's nice when you get a good flow with it (needs to be used with a refrence layer)

For pixel art,

I like to use the standard Dot pen, and the lasso tools with ant-aliasing off. Tbf i vary my tools A LOT art to art, and i really just use whatever feels best. (this applies for non-pixel art too)

For pixel art, i really just make sure i have anti-aliasing off on the brushes i use.

In general,

I do also like some of the standard CSP brushes, like the airbrush tool (often accompanied by lasso select) and the marker pen on high stabilization for artwork like merchandise or more "technical" looking artwork.

I use a lot of various half-tone brushes, which are really just a lot that i came across by searching up half-tone or hatching.

I have far too many brushes downloaded, and i pretty frequently switch between stuff, but i tried to list the ones i most consistently use.

Additionally, a brush i like to use is the Jerma pen, which, as it may sound, is just a pen where the brush tip is a png of Jerma. The material was deleted from the CSP assets, but i still use it with custom pen pressure. It's unironically a very nice pen for less refined artwork and sketches.

Zakuzaku Chips

Arc: A Kaiju operation to overload and incapacitate Neronga is a big success thanks to Daimode. As SKIP's Kaiju Analysis Unit comes into investigate the remains, Rin is introduced to an old mentor from HQ, Yamagami Satoru. Previously, Ban and Ishido had informed them that it was believed someone in Kaiju Analysis was selling Kaiju cells overseas, and that Yamagami was GDF' prime suspect. Rin refused to believe it, but was asked to confirm it, as Yamagami and her were close enough for him to sponsor her SKIP application. As a high schooler, Rin frequently went to the university Yamagami taught Kaijuology at to sit in on his lectures. In the present they talk, Rin continuing to believe in Yamagami, who talks about wanting to learn from Kaiju biology to improve life, and notes Neronga and a few other Kaiju are believed to share a common ancestor, Rin is stunned to learn he now has a child. She recalls being surprised to hear he was planning to join SKIP, and was plainly quite taken by the young handsome academic, but even then was quietly saddened to hear he was getting married. In the present, when Yuma mentions the rumours about Kaiju selling Yamagami believes with the new security measures the thief has given up, but Rin recognises his telling, that he's lying. Devastated, she goes to cry, seen by YouPi as she remembers her very first meeting with Yamagami, as both wanted the same Advanced Mechanical Engineering book from the library. As the Analysis Unit are packing up, Rin tells Yamagami the GDF suspect him, and that she wants to help him, he asks for the Hoshimoto branches' own Neronga cells. They meet up later, but the case she gives him is empty, she instead brought the others, her method of helping involves him atoning. Suddenly Neronga revives, and a Pagos, which shares a common ancestor, appears, they realise Neronga was fleeing it, but now the two Kaiju battle. Yamagami flees in the chaos, Rin pursuing while the others have to evacuate residents, then Yuma becomes Arc, using Solis Armour to try and handle the attacks of both Kaiju. Rin catches Yamagami, who argues he had to sell the Kaiju DNA to fund his research into harnessing their abilities, as SKIP and GDF are in his view too focused on just destroying them, believing a sacrifice now worth the advancements that will be made. Arc manages to get Pagos' and Neronga's attacks to his eachother, then sheds Solis Armour, using the Arc Eye Sword to bisect both. As the others catch up Yamagami knows he's caught, Rin can't bring herself to admit she loved him, instead saying she enjoyed the time together, he claims not to remember, it only revealed as a lie when she can't see him, as she is devastated remembering her youth. After the others have taken Yamagami away, YouPi offers words of support, and she resolves to carry on.

Shin Dogengers: Aboard the alien ship, Ohga-Man and Yabai Kamen try to fight off the alien attackers. At AHK, Nectaris is furious at Maid Shitsuji stopping their battle, suggesting Hatena would be a better interim leader, and planning to scapegoat Maid Shitsuji. After Shaberryman explains the term, the goat mention sets Maid Shitsuji off and he and Nectaris fight until Shuraomaru stops them. Meanwhile, the Dogengers have a celebration party, after which, while Ex rests on the couch, Tanaka reminds KitaQMan of how much he guided him in the beginning, embarrassing KitaQMan. They're surprised by a visit from Maid Shitsuji, struggling with the AHK situation, they get some advice and some taunting from Yabai Kamen, but a stray comment from Ex sets KitaQMan off to start attacking him, Tanaka threatening his poster to stop him, having their answer Maid Shitsuji leaves. At AHK, Maid Shitsuji exposes their true face and apologises to Nectaris, and the two manage to resolve their differences, before the rest of AHK surprise them to celebrate the resolving of issues. Maid Shitsuji and Nectaris go to a rooftop, Maid Shitsuji allows Nectaris to call the Dogengers out until Nectaris spots a taunting note from KitaQMan on Maid Shitsuji, which sets them off to more angrily call the heroes out. Aboard the alien spaceship, the alien leader watches footage of the heroes learning their new techniques, and laughs.

Gavv: The girl finds Shoma is alive when his stomach growls, and promises to give him food at her place, the current Gochizo's watch as they go. She brings him to her own business, Handyman Happy Parade, and tells him to shower. At Stomach Inc, the Dark Treat Production Line, and in the human world, the Stomach family discuss their agents trying to find a body, and with their father dead and "that woman" out of the picture, for the business to thrive they must work together, and acquire more humans to produce premium sweets. They are being lead by eldest brother Lango, Eldest Sister Glotta is running production, Nyelv, who supplied the Dark Treat last time is reminded to wear his human face in the human world. After the meeting, youngest thing Jeebh and Shita discuss what they left out, the part-time disappearance, emerging from the shower, Shoma digs into food his host has supplied. The Gochizo from the gummies hide themselves, and while he enjoys the Conbini Bento it doesn't produce any Gochizo. He does have to hide the ones produced from eating potato chips though, and his host concludes he's run away due to a strict family. She gets a call from her friend Rittsun, during which he gets all the Gochizo together. She has to help Rittsun move as the one who was meant to bailed, and he offers to help as payback for the food. Hanto's mentor praises his work and the views it's drawn, as he gets a hot tip on the monster sighting. Shoma's strength is a big help in moving Rittsun and the girls celebrate with soba, while amused by Shoma being so into the chips. Hanto's investigation brings him to Hajime's family, and while Hajime insists one of the monsters protected him, he is unwilling to say more, Hanto asks the mother for a sketch. A Granute is notified of his next target, Rittsun. The prez pays Shoma a little for his help and asks about his love of snacks. He recalls how his late mother was always happiest when remembering them, and he's given a book to scrapbook his favourite snacks and what he wants to try. Amane Sachika introduces herself properly, explaining she set up her business to help others. Shoma almost gives his family name as Stomach, but realises that's suspicious and corrects to Inoue. Sachika let's him stay and work there. Two Zakuzaku Chips Gochizo got left behind at Rittsun's and sneak out, spotting her get grabbed by the Granute, the rush to inform Shoma. He tracks the Granute to its hideout, and when it refuses to release Rittsun he prepares to fight it, and becomes enraged when it thinks just splitting the profits from the Pressed will satisfy him. He recovers Rittsun, angering the Granute, and uses a Zakuzaku Chips Granute to take a new form, wielding the twin Zakuzaku Chipslashers. The blades are fragile but regenerate, and he's able to use them effectively to defeat the Granute after it refuses to give up Dark Treats. He frees Rittsun, who seems unaware of what's happened and terrified of the monster, he apologises and rides off on VroCan Buggy. Looking at net sightings of Gavv, Hanto expressed that he has finally found the monster after 18 years, when his mother was killed by a Granute in front of him. He sees Gavv drive by and tries unsuccessfully to follow, but is gratified to have finally seen it in person. Sachika arrives home to find a note from Shouma thanking her and leaving. Shita is shown by an agent the circulating image from the battle a week ago, recognising the missing operative but questing just what Gavv is.

Boonboomger: Taiya is disappointed over Genba'a departure, but knows he has to let him go, Shirabe is keeping the ISA off the Boonboomgers. Jou and Mira contact Genba trying to get him to work with them, he sadly rejects them, Jou is subsequently asked by the police to investigate reports of a distinctive noise complaint he and Mira recognise but can't identify. Taiya meets Raita to apologise for the part being lost, but is forgiven, but told thr part was probably from slace. Naito's network helped Taiya to set up facilities to support children across the world, which, they now have been told their fortune is thanks to the Boonboomgers and sent drawings as thanks. Sakito and ByunD offer Genba their services against Disrace, who has short-changed them before, but accept his refusal. Disrace uses a form of divination to guide the Sanseaters to Mad Rex's dog, they bring it back and he uses the Gyasoline soaked into the carpet to revive him as Mad Rex Fury. It's evident immediately the revived commander's personality is a little off. Disrace gives Itashar an enhanced Ignition Key she uses on restaurant signs, the subsequent Kurumajin lures in customers and then traps them, Disrace's new Kurumajin sends Gyasoline straight to Hashilien HQ via Highway Space. The Boonboomgers rush to the scene, only to be confronted by Mad Rex Fury. Sakito only knows him by reputation and doesn't know he's dead. Taiya faces him while the others go the Kurumajin, and it's quickly evident Mad Rex doesn't even remember Taiya. The Kurumajin is tough but Jou, determined to do Genba's share until he returns, manages to defeat it solo. The Kurumaju is defeated by Boonboomger Robo Police. Disrace notes something about Boonboomger Robo after the battle is over, and recalls Mad Rex Fury. Genba was watching everything, but leaves before Taiya sees him. Chassiro is approached by Tokoyari, who seeks to engage his services for the second time.

Crimson Ace Reviews: Kamen Rider Gavv Episode 2

This episode reveals why Kamen Rider Gavv is a fantasy show: It portrays corporations as evil, and we all know how false that is, right?

Let's get into Kamen Rider Gavv's second episode: Happy Zakuzakuchips

We pick up right where we left off last week, with a woman named Sachika waking Shoma up. Sachika then offers to take him back to her place for some food.

It's here we get the show's opening theme, “Got Boost?” It's a pretty upbeat theme with some nice visuals. I especially like the one part where Shoma, Hanto, and Sachika are all singing along to the song.

After the opening, Sachika takes Shoma to the store she runs, Hapipare, or Happy Parade. Shoma mistakes a towel Sachika gives him for cotton candy, before being told to go take a shower. Make sure to wash your Gavv too, Shoma.

The next scene properly introduces the season's villains, the Stomach Family. These are the heads of the company which produces the Dark Treats, those things Granute Hound wanted more of last episode. Lango Stomach is the president of the company after the death of their father, Glotta Stomach is the head of manufacturing which involves those shrunken humans wrapped in Fruit by the Foot, Nyelv is in charge of research and development, and the twins Shita and Jeebh are in charge of getting supplies. It's a very effective scene that introduces the villains and gives the audience an idea of their goals and explains more about the Dark Treats. I also love how rather than an evil empire, the villains are structured like a corporation, sort of like the villains from Kirby: Planet Robobot.

Back with Shoma, he helps himself to some of Sachika's food, only to forget the whole “giving birth” thing.

Damn it, Shoma! Do that in the bathroom for Gaim's sake! Or at least see a doctor about your Gavv if it keeps up.

Something of note is when Shoma tries a bento made by Sachika, he doesn't create a new Gochizo, showing that it's only snacks that affect his Gavv. After he struggles to hide the new Gochizo he created (including a few he made from eating potato chips for the first time), Shoma offers to help Sachika help a friend move. Because he has super strength, it's a snap for him, so they celebrate with soba and potato chips.

Meanwhile, Hanto gets a lead on the mysterious monster attack, taking him to Hajime's house.

Oh hey, Hajime. We thought you were dead.

Speaking of monsters, we get our first look at this week's Granute, Granute Whipple.

Damn, Squidward's been hitting the gym.

He gets a new assignment, to target the friend Shoma and Sachika just helped move out.

Back with Shoma and Sachika, the latter asks the former just why he goes so crazy over snacks. He explains that he gets it from his mother.

You know, between this show and Dragon Ball Super, who would have thought junk food would be seen as humanity's greatest achievement by aliens?

After Sachika gives her full name, Shoma starts to reveal his last name, but because it's all but stated that he's a member of the Stomach family, he has to improvise and come up with a name that's less evil.

Okay, not the best person to name yourself after, but at least Toshiki Inoue isn't a mass-murdering psychopath.

Cut to Granute Whipple, who wraps up the friend into the shrunken Fruit by the Foot form, which is seen by two of Shoma's Gochizo. After starting to write in a snack diary, Shoma is alerted to this, so he heads out and confronts the Granute, transforming into Gavv. Granute Whipple tries to bargain with Gavv by offering to split the profits, but Gavv tells him to shove it. Gavv gets the friend back, but his gummy armor is chipped away again, so he tries a different Gochizo, this one labeled “Zakuzaku Chips”.

I like this form. The food motif is much clearer here, and I especially like the touch of his eyes being potatoes that are quickly sliced off.

The weapons, a pair of swords called the Zakuzakuchipslasher, are really creative, looking like crushed bags of potato chips. Hopefully, these things won't break so easily like what happened last week.

In all seriousness, Shoma is just as surprised before he figures out that the Zakuzakushipslasher's effectiveness depends on the angle, and even if they break, unlike the Poppin Gummy armor, he doesn't need to reload another Gochizo to make the blades regenerate. So Gavv goes to town on Granute Whipple, and just like the commercials say about eating chips, you can't just stop at killing one Granute. Gavv saves the friend, but she isn't grateful to be saved by him.

Yes, because clearly the bright blue gummy-themed person is a terrifying monster.

Gavv rides off on his ATV, only to be seen by Hanto. We learn that the reason why Hanto is so obsessed with monsters was because a Granute murdered his mother when he was just a kid. Damn, that's two for two on dead moms this season. Somebody better get Sachika's mom to a bunker.

Just like last week, the episode ends with Shoma deciding to leave Sachika's place to continue roaming the world. Our hero, ladies and gentlemen, master of chewing and screwing.

Conclusion and Final Thoughts

Shiny New Toy: For the Zakuzaku Chips Gozhizo and the Zakuzakuchipslasher.

No Parents Allowed: For Hanto's mother, who was killed by a Granute.

This was a pretty okay episode. It had some strong character moments, a good introduction to the villains, and hints at future conflicts with the mystery Granute that murdered Hanto's mom. It's a good follow up to Episode 1.

Next time on Kamen Rider Gavv: Shoma continues to scare the public that probably thinks Monster High is too graphic for them, given how he's still being called a monster. But hey, at the very least, he discovers soda-flavored gummies.

In the Room is a small and short comic by Zakuzaku. It is a sweet and humorous story. After reading it, I would like to read the second part, but in the R/18 version. More #foodporn ! As soon as we saw #melonpan we had to get it was very good☺️ when we went across #japan I found this delicious #ekiben definitely added to the #shinkansen experience. The 3rd picture was this delicious #ramen joint near where we stayed. Their #chickenkarage was also super tender. All of their food truly oushi! There was also a great #sushi place across the street that I tried which was phenomenal! Very fresh & just the right amount of wasabi 👌(wish I could have tried the unagi there 😔) Our last day we had this extravagant spread of food but forgot to gram till the last course which was #pekingduck Juicy duck with crispy skin & fresh cucumber can’t ask for more, very delicious 🤤! For desserts one day we went to #harajuku #takeshitastreet was less mobbed during the weekday. We went to #zakuzaku for some #croquant custardy, crunchy, crispy goodness! And lastly we went to #nakanobroadway to # for the rainbow of all their flavor.
