Jongler and Pluey (in my headcanon land) were roped into the Mike stuff by Battat at random because he sucks at talking to people in general. This is why they're so out of the loop... Honestly, they already naturally have poor attention spans to me, so that adds onto it.

Battat isn't even bad at planning in the slightest. He was definitely a theater kid and is good at directing. He's just so experienced in comparison to the other Mikes that they get lost easily and their plans fall apart. He's also extremely rambly, so there's that...

OH WOW THIS IS AMAZING!!!! These drawings are so so cute!!! I REALLY love how expressive they both are, MTT's little happy face in the last panel is making me smile so much...!!

Hilariously, these kind of align almost perfectly with some thoughts I had myself... I'll throw them under the cut here. (Ch. 4 spoilers under here, too, by the way.)

I did toy with the idea of MTT creating his own Dark World, after Tenna explains it to him... which, firstly, imagining Tenna chopping together clips to explain the concept of the Dark World to MTT is both amusing and very interesting... with the limited vocabulary that he has. But, Tenna wanting so badly for MTT to see the real him, so he convinces him to open a new fountain himself...

...Although, like in the drawings, I think he soon realizes this new Dark World isn't exactly how he'd envisioned it. Similar to Susie creating the distorted, 'wrong' version of the Sanctuary Dark World, Tenna finds himself in a 'slightly-to-the-left' version of TV World, where everyone is... noticeably absent. Since he's not inside Kris's living room, there's no Pippins, no Shadowguys, no Zappers... not even Mike is there. Now, perhaps some o the other things in MTT's room are populating the Dark World, such as personified stacks of VHS tapes or different flavors of fabulous clothing in his closet... but none of the familiar faces that've been with him through thick and thin. He tries his best to keep the facade up, putting on a very brave face for MTT in this wonderful new world, but... it's not the same as before. It'll never go back to the way it was, but... maybe he can adjust.

Also, this face made me laugh so much. His stupid long ass nose...

Tenna got only his arms cut off in chapter 3, but the chapter 4 prophecy shows his screen being cut in half

Basically, I revisited the Tenna death scene, and in chapter 3 he didn't really die but was only quite close to death. I feel like he is going to die again and die in a worse way, but then again, I don't know if the past bosses are ever gonna play a bigger role apart from hanging out in Castle Town anymore. The thing with the Knight is that Kris obviously dresses like one, and there's also the actual roaring Knight. Maybe Kris will get to cut their TV the next time?? I know that the prophecy isn't literal, but it is just bugging me and I feel that something worse is gonna happen to him.

Another question I have is that I don't understand why Gerson skipped chapter 3 in his The Lord Of The Hammar? Is it just because we only just played it? I wonder what his interpretation of it would be. Out of all the kings and queens and dragons and chariots, a homey TV doesn't really seem to fit with the legend, even if say he's supposed to be a lord idk tenna isn't very like a lord to me.

Also, is the mike situation just resolved? I don't really buy that Mike is either Pippen/Shadow Guy/Zapper, or Battat/Jongler/Pluey. I just can't accept that the Mike that Spamton seemed to care about enough to mention in Friends are these fellows. They don't seem intimate at all. I do think the cat should have something to do with Spamton, though; however, no details were mentioned. Tenna also relies heavily on this Mike, but despite what Motormouth says, I just don't understand how he is supposed to be that Mike. I always assumed that Mike is a mutual friend of Spamton and Tenna but something happened and Mike's dead, Spamton's distraught by it, while Tenna just flat-out rejects reality by pretending Mike's still there, so I just can't whirl my head around the fact that Mike seemed just to be a literal microphone???

tenna ! it is so insanely interesting how close we were with our fan designs for this guy (we technically all called him "mike" back then, didn't we?) considering how Terribly Wrong we were with our theories of what chapter 2 would be ... i'm halfway (?) through chapter 3 right now and am planning on replaying the game fully before i start chapter 4. ...or i'll just leave myself on a cliffhanger and do it halfway through chapter 3. input appreciated!

i think its also super cool that they made tenna 3d (ish?) he looks so unique compared to the other characters and its not something we see done often.. leave it to Toby to blow up my mind with a cartoony bomb ! (my brain's full of confetti, too!) tenna is so fun to draw and i also love the buzzer/remote lookin guys (zapper, i think was their names?) they may be on the '25 hear me out list. susie is also getting a whole ton of focus here im very invested... i love susie ! she needs attention ! PLEASE TOBY ! GIVE ME MORE.

sseriously your existence is allowed on this blog you do not have to hide yourself for fear of hurting someone else's feelings [in this manner at least probably not in any other] You have my Express permission to talk about your canon, memories, and experiences.  by the way from the deltarune wiki: Continuing from Chapter 2, Susie and Kris wake up in the Dark World. After traversing around the unknown area for a while, Susie and Kris find Ralsei and the Fun Gang reunites. The Lightners continue to traverse the area, as Ralsei and Susie talk about Ralsei visiting them in the Light World and going to the Festival. This comes to a stop when Ralsei says that he can't, as the Dark World is a alternate take on the Light World, and any Darkner that exists in the Light World, including Ralsei takes the form of a object, as when the fountain is sealed, the Dark World is no longer "real". Susie, not being able to handle the truth, questions Ralsei even more. Ralsei just tells Susie to try to make more friends and forget the friends who are Darkners. Susie, now furious, tells Ralsei that none of them will forget each other. Before he could continue, Tenna notices them and cheers them for their "amazing performance" . An introductory tape starts to play, ending with Tenna physically appearing in front of the Lightener's. He - along with his unseen assistant Mike - then properly set up the gameshow, Mr Tenna's Marvelous Mystery Board: TV Time. After explaining the prizes, Susie interrupts him and initially refuses to take part, while causes the show to be "killed" and saddens Tenna, but after some discussion, Ralsei convinces her to play along, "un-killing" the show. After starting the show, he allows the Lightners to introduce himself and gives live commentary as they show their three-letter names. Tenna then makes them play the first round, which is the Desert Board, and the subsequent Physical Challenge as he continues to give commentary. After completing the first round, he greets the contestants again in the Green Room. Susie goes to speak to Tenna and talk to him about the show, but briefly overhears him talking to his subordinates about "searching for something". After going back for the second round, Tenna then makes them play the Island Board and the subsequent Physical Challenge as he continues to give commentary. However, halfway in, he had to leave for a while for unknown reasons, and returns shortly after. After the Second Round, the party reluctantly participate in the Bonus Round, and head to the Green Room before said round. After completing the second round, Susie again goes to him to say that they're leaving after the Bonus Round, and that the show can't go on forever, but they overhear his plans more clearly this time - find and capture something so that the show can go on forever.

Susie no longer trusts Tenna, so she stops the party from beginning the next round to search the Green Room and figure out the truth. After they enter the door guarded by a Zapper and get past Tenna's defences, they eventually reach the Cold Place, discovering what he wanted to keep hidden from them: Toriel, imprisoned in a gachapon bubble. Tenna, while coming to look at Toriel discovers them when they attempt to hide behind her and panics, sending them back to the show. As Tenna starts the round, which turns out to be a City Board, the party refuses to continue the game, causing Tenna to imprison them in gachapon bubbles as well, and forces them to participate in the Bonus Round. The party is forced to participate in quizzes, play physical challenges that malfunction/act weirdly and battle enemies with only "ACT" while Tenna takes control of the round in the now Burnt Down City Board as he breaks down, trying to stall them as long as possible. Kris, Susie and Ralsei begin to get very bored, but manage to escape by pressing the Off Button in battle with a Zapper, giving them time to flee. Tenna, realising the Lightners are gone, gathers the other Darkners to try and search for the party, but has no luck in finding them. As they repeatedly fail to find or capture the Lightners, Tenna continually breaks down, pushing away his subordinates until they all abandon him, with even Mike leaving. The party returns to the Cold Place where they found Toriel previously to seal the fountain, where Tenna blocks the way and explains his motivation for wanting to create a show that would never truly end: he used to be the Dreemurr family's beloved TV, which they would watch for hours. Asriel and Kris would watch cartoons while playing, Toriel would watch cooking shows for new recipes, and both the Dreemurr and Holiday families would always gather around the TV to watch the yearly holiday specials. However, because of various circumstances (Dess's disappearance, Asgore and Toriel's divorce, Rudy's illness, Kris and Noelle growing apart, and finally Asriel leaving for college), the Dreemurr family gradually

watched less and less TV until Tenna was entirely unused. He wanted to be "useful" once more, and the Roaring Knight, a figure first mentioned by Queen in Chapter 2, promised him relevancy in exchange for refusing to close the fountain and told him that if he could create an endless show for the three, he can have all the people watch him as he wanted. Seeing that he can't convince them, Tenna fights the party, offering to let the party leave if they can accumulate enough points through replaying the past minigames. After a fight serving as the game show's "final challenge," Tenna admits that he just wants to be watched, wanting to be "useful". Ralsei tries to tell him that, as a Darkner, his feelings are not important, but Susie interrupts. She tells him about her own feelings of inadequacy, moving from place to place, always feeling unwanted by the people around her, but that she eventually found the right people and now has a group of friends. She says he can be similar - if he agrees to let them go, Susie and Kris will go around Hometown and find someone who wants him and would use him. However, due to failing his task from the Roaring Knight, he is suddenly attacked by the Knight while attempting to give them Toriel back, and tries to capture Toriel. The party faces the Roaring Knight. The party fights the Knight, but due to the high damage by the Knight's hard attacks, the party soon lose the battle. As the Roaring Knight is about to capture Toriel, it is attacked and subsequently distracted by Undyne, allowing Kris and Susie to escape to the Light World with the Fountain remaining unsealed. The two follow the Knight and Undyne to a previously sealed-off Shelter, which now appears to have a Dark Fountain created inside of it. The door shuts before they can enter, causing Susie to bang on its door until a hidden electronic keypad is revealed. Susie then runs back to the Dreemurr home to rescue Toriel, suggesting Kris come with her. The chapter ends with the bunker door opening itself for Kris.

He always feels like he’s underneath people’s (especially other Zappers’) expectations. Not being able to complete his tasks and whatnot… Like I know in canon, as a joke character he probably wouldn’t have all these thoughts, but come on COME ON. Think about it… carrying all that weight on you does not feel good. Plus him redirecting you to Battat for instructions is so real I like to think this is because of his inability to feel reliable enough due to his self-consciousness around forgetting things

Thanks to ANON!!!!, I now believe he has a knack for music and music-making. Music is the one thing that he can easily remember and specializes in, which makes him feel like he has fulfilled another purpose that is no longer bound by what others want from him, but rather his own path. People actually enjoy begin to enjoy his presence when he makes some sick ass tunes and that makes him happy…. He gets to unite people… He gets to feel loved and welcomed…..
