The Sun reported that 22-year-old Frankie had sex with a 26-year-old Swedish woman known only as Stephanie before his reunion with newly official girlfriend Samira at Gatwick Airport. Stephanie told the publication: “The fact I wasn’t a besotted fan seemed to make him all the more interested. He was being very sweet and we started flirting. Love Island's newcomer Zara says it's 'every girl for themselves' in the villa

Love Island has the nation well and truly captivated.

There’s been makeups and breakups (mostly at the hands of serial dater, Adam) and the cast is growing by the day.

Samira, Hayley, Laura and Dani were soon joined in the villa by Megan, Georgia and Rosie. Just when we were getting to know them, the producers threw even MORE singletons in.

Meet Zara McDermott, 21, a Government Advisor, who is already making a play for Adonis, Adam. GLAMOUR caught up with her before she jetted into the villa, here’s everything we know…

What makes you stand out from everyone else?

“I think my job is quite different. A lot of people are interested in what I do on a day-to-day basis. There are two sides to me – I can be quite serious but I’m also spontaneous, fun and energetic.”

What would you say you’re looking for in a nutshell (i.e. your type on paper)?

“I want to meet someone I can vibe and connect with. Someone who can keep me on my toes. I really like Adam, he’s very attractive. In terms of longevity though, Alex has a lot of potential. But I need to get know him more though – I don’t think we’ve seen how fun he can be. Maybe I can bring that out in him!”

What are your best attributes, both physically and mentally?

“I’m intelligent, which means I’m quite good at reading people. I’m always analysing people.”

What would you say people would find least likeable about you?

“I fall in love really quickly, which makes me quite serious. I think that if I like someone, I will go for them 100%. That might not be attractive to everyone.”

Tell us about your relationship history – have you had many exes and what do you think they would say about you?

“I’ve had two serious boyfriends. Both of them lasted around eighteen months. I think this speaks to my character, but I do get on really well with both of them. I’m still close to them. I’ve been single for a year, and we still speak now. I would hope they would say I’m a good girlfriend.”

What are your thoughts on cheating? Have you ever been cheated on?

“In a relationship, I’ve not been cheated on. When I’ve been seeing guys since breaking up with my ex boyfriend, the guy has been seeing a couple of girls at once. I don’t like that. It annoys me.”

If a Love Islander could wine and dine you what would you say is the best way to your heart?

“Being considerate and nice, but not too nice. I need to be kept on my toes. They need to have some mystery about them. I like doing something fun on a first date – an activity, like go-karting.”

What do you find to be your biggest turn off?

“A guy who is too frugal and I wouldn’t want someone stingy. I’m quite generous and I’m not like that. I have a serious side to me so if I was with someone who was also serious it would probably bring out the worst in me.”

What is the most disastrous date you have been on?

“I went to a festival with one guy, who was DJing there. The whole time he didn’t make eye contact with me. He decided he wasn’t into me anymore so he just ignored me the whole night.”

How important will friendship be to you in the villa, or do you think you would easily turn against others in your bid to find the right person

“It’s every girl for themselves in there. But I don’t think I’d do anything too incriminating, or anything against girl code. I don’t want the girls in the villa to dislike me. I want to keep them on side, and be their friend.”

Do you have any worries about going in?

“It’s about fitting into that group. Is that going to be difficult? Will I annoy people? It’s more the thought of living with all of these people that I only know through being a viewer.”
