It is incredible!” Ingo couldn't stop himself from feeling proud of Rosa and Nate accomplishment, like every time something like this happened, the two young trainers had passed multiple months trying to win against him and his twin, and finally their effort paid.

Even through, he was more familiar with Nate than Rosa, as the teenager won in the single train before trying the challenge that the multi-battle was, It did not stop him from applauding with enthusiast the work the two of them put together to arrive at the station called Victory.

“When you and someone else combine, your engine powers something special! If you like, please challenge us with a different combination."

"I am Emmet. We lost against you again. But I am satisfied.” Ingo also knew for fact that his younger twin was more familiar with Rosa than Nate, as he remembered him talking for hours about his next strategies to offer her a challenge she would not forget, It is not every day that his brother shows so much enthusiasm against a challenger.

“You are too strong! The strength you have, your trust in your Pokémon, their never-ending support! Yep! It was the most fun battle ever! Please come back soon!"

Rosa was the first to talk as Nate was mostly grinning about the compliment offered by the twin. “Of course I am going to come back! It is always a lot of fun to have a battle against you two, right Nate” she turned her gaze on her friend waiting, expectation in her eyes.

“Don’t look at me like that, you know that we are going to come back, One victory is not enough for me with the number of times you have beat us”

Emmet smile grows with a glint of eagerness “I am Emmet, Do not make us wait too long, I want to have another battle like this verrry soon”

“I must admit, we are already waiting with impatience for the next time you two will pass by”

As Rosa and Nate seemed to smile ready to continue there discussion with the twin, the train slowly start to slow down, meaning only one things “It seem that we arrived to our Destination”

A loud groan coming from Rosa was hear, as Nate seem just a bit surprise by how fast they arrive “Oh shoot, we didn’t have time to discuses more, that a shame”

“A shame is an understatement Nate, I need to go back to the league after that, Did you know that I have to do literal paper work!! How is that fair, I hate it, so so much, it’s like homework but more boring!”

Nate simply rolls his eyes as the train finally takes a stop “Don’t be dramatic, the Elite 4 is doing all the paper work for you until you are old enough to do it as far as I know”

“Still!!”

As the doors opened and the Champion and Nate walked outside, they waved their goodbye to the brothers, Now that they were alone, Ingo simply shook his head, a smile on his face.

“I am quite happy to see how Nate and Rosa got to where they are now, They are very talented trainers”.

Emmet nodded at the statement with some amusement on his face. “You are proud of every trainer who made a good impression on you Ingo, I am proud of them too, but I am even more proud of us, and Gear station”

Even if embarrassment at the comment of his brother about how he is – truthfully – always proud of trainer who left him a great impression, he nodded, he was proud of his and his brother accomplishment too.

post mag-200 au where as the Fears are being spread out into the multiverse, they accidentally get snagged on Akari getting taken to hisui. Arceus notices and tries shaking them off, but that only results in separating Jon and Martin, with jon landing in hisui alongside Akari and Martin landing in Gear Station in modern day.

I thought up an au set in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon world where the characters of Gravity Falls are pokemon. In the Mystery Dungeon au, I'm not taking the breeding mechanics of the games into consideration, but more on the lines of genetics to determine what pokemon between the parents would be born as.

For example, Stan and Ford's parents are a Perserker (Filbrick) and a Kanto Persian (Caryn) so Stan is born as a Alolan Meowth and Ford a Kanto Persian. Also Shermie born as an Galaran Meowth through Filbrick. Ford has six toes on each paw.

Dipper would be a deerling, and Mabel a skitty because their grandpa Shermie got together with their grandmother, who was a delcatty and had their dad, born a kanto meowth. Him meeting their mom, who would be a sawsbuck.

Dipper and Mabel would build up their own team called Team Mystery that consists of their friends and family members. And Dipper and Mabel get strong over time during their stay in the summer and learn new moves. Dipper as a deerling would be green in fur color because deerling and sawsbuck have a special thing where their fur and antlers change depending on the season.

Stan pretty much adopted Gompers in this au when he was left behind at the Mystery Shack as a skiddo and stayed at the shack since.

Shifty would be a ditto Ford and Fidds would find abandoned as an egg. Ford adopting him as his son. Shifty is treated better here than in canon.

And thought of Blendin Blandin being a delibird. Him and other time travelers harness the power of Dialga and Celebi from the far future.

But!

Eliot has a Growlithe. The most stubborn thing you’ve ever met. Most wonder why it’s never evolved, but, hey, it’ll do that when it wants. Eliot has a fire stone, tucked away in his go bag. And, honestly, when people see what they can do, they tend to just be happy it’s not 6 feet tall, you know? It’ll evolve eventually - in defense of Parker and Hardison of course.

Hardison has a Bulbasaur. Curious, sweet, and surprisingly helpful little thing. It’s vines are great for delicate lifting as well (new computer set ups or hands-on thieving, take your pick). It is very happy to nap in the sun while Hardison goes on a hacking binge, and is a great reminder for a relatively normal sleep schedule (the sun’s not up anymore? It’s now in his face. Constantly.)

Parker has a Meowth. It’s almost as good a thief as she is. Is it a shiny? Who knows! Thankfully, it can’t talk, but it manages to get it’s intentions across just fine.

Sophie has a Zoroark. Illusions are not allowed in the apartment anymore after Hardison thought he spent an afternoon petting a Growlithe.

Nate has a Lucario. It is a very mean-spirited, quiet thing that takes the longest to warm up to any of them. It’s unknown if it’s feeding off Nate’s emotions, or just pissed off at Nate (or both! Because Nate’s a mess!)

random thoughts on my pokemon magical girl/boy au:

the protags/rivals fuse with their pokemon to become heroes. it’s not rly like ash-greninja or mother beast though. maybe a bit more like su fusion?

their powers come from the legendary pokemon of the region in question, via these things called “hearts”, which are weird artefacts found at the sites where leagues are built. the champions (+ kukui and burnet) look after these and watch over the heroes. the powers are specifically handed out by talking electric rodents (plus a mimikyu that got hired bc togedemaru wasn’t around and silvally couldn’t hand the power to gladion itself).

red = charizard, blue = blastoise, leaf = venusaur.

red signs his dramatic speeches. leaf and blue thought initially maybe he could try speaking with his charizard’s help, but he still can’t speak any human languages. fortunately he’s still able to trash-talk giovanni, who learnt sign language because you never know who you’ll be dealing with in his line of business.

also red accidentally caught the pikachu that was trying to give him superpowers bc he was like “wow a pikachu!! they’re rare!! let’s catch it!!” pikachu has never let him live this down.

ethan = typhlosion, silver = feraligatr, kris = meganium, lyra = azumarill.

silver got picked up by the spiky-eared and pikachu-coloured pichu bros first. they regret this decision right up until goldenrod when the character development starts kicking in.

lance: “why this kid though?” pichu bros: “well... he has a good heart deep down!! we just didn’t realise how deep down it was.” lance, getting out his #1 dad mug and a barbeque: “guess i’m going to have to handle this one myself.”

kris actually gets her powers last, they meet her in ilex forest with her bayleef.

may = blaziken, brendan = swampert, wally = gallade.

SORRY SCEPTILE. i love you but... can’t have two greens...

may loves this job way too much. wally is so determined to do this right. brendan... is just getting dragged along for the ride.

wally’s costume has a face mask designed to help his breathing as part of it, so he can stay active for longer than he normally could. it actually really helps his health.

archie and maxie are also getting way too into this. archie is enjoying being the big bombastic magical girl villain, and while maxie won’t admit it, he’s going very shiny-glasses-and-tch on the gang.

dawn = torterra, lucas = empoleon, barry = infernape.

barry has fire powers, arceus help us all. wait, this is partially arceus’s fault. fuck.

cyrus is your standard super fucked up why is he in this genre at all villain.

looker figures out who the trio are basically immediately, but promises to keep their secret so long as they work with him against the team galactic. they agree because looker’s awesome and fuck cyrus.

dawn very much enjoys using the move wood hammer.

the nacrene museum affair is a complete disaster for n, who realises at the last second that the skull isn’t what they want, and then has to go magical boy mode with hilbert to get it back, which confuses the HELL out of the plasma grunts.

please imagine bianca punching ghetsis through a wall. it is a great image.

cheren thinks this is stupid but he LOVES his costume.

rosa = lucario, hugh = unfezant.

the first one is based on the pokestar studios first movie. rosa stars in a film about herself, playing herself, and almost no one knows. hugh and bianca die of laughter when they see it.

the second one... firstly he gets a pidove fast, secondly, that MASK. imagine it.

my apologies to hilda and nate. you guys are cool but i couldn’t fit extra protags in on this one.

serena = delphox, calem = greninja, shauna = chesnaught, tierno = clawitzer, trevor = florges.

they love this. they love this so much. it is the best thing that has ever happened to these kids. especially tierno. he quickly becomes known as the most graceful of kalos’s legendary heroes and he loves it.

trevor is in kind of an odd situation - everyone else has gender match-ups on their pokemon but he can’t. so technically “florges hero” is non-binary. it’s an interesting opportunity for self-exploration if nothing else.

serena would probably end up very usagi-like just for the joke in the names. meanwhile calem is a fucking ninja and he loves it.

shauna in a suit of armour. it’s so stupid. i love it.

moon = incineroar, sun = primarina, hau = decidueye, lillie = lunala, gladion = silvally.

LILLIE PLZ. GLADION PLZ. that’s just excessive??

sun and moon are twins. scary twins. meanwhile hau is robin hood. he just wanted a type advantage over his grandpa.

the plot would be some convoluted mix of sm and usum with necrozma and mother beast and all of that thrown in. 

episode rr is the movie where they get all of the teams together. giovanni is like “???” when he sees silver. archie and maxie end up working together because if they don’t then this tiny blaziken girl will destroy them both. cyrus has now seen it all. ghetsis laughs at n being there until he can’t fucking find anyone because of all the illusions, also it’s not funny to harass someone who is beyond the point of caring about it. lysandre cannot believe this is happening. faba runs screaming the moment the big fight starts.

fwiw: lance = dragonite (he adopts like seven unruly kids in this mess), steven = metagross (probably shiny for the aesthetic), wallace = milotic (most fabulous magical mentor ever), cynthia = garchomp (if you actually make her transform you’re screwed), alder = whatever his partner was in the past (you never see him change form), iris = haxorus (tiny princess girl with an axe), diantha = gardevoir (bow down to the queen or get moonblasted), kukui = lycanroc & burnet = musharna (they found the heart so they have to deal with it).

the villains also generally manage to imitate these powers with varying levels of success. giovanni manages it but doesn’t enjoy it. archie and maxie do fairly well because their pokemon like them. cyrus thinks it’s a weird but useful tool. ghetsis... max frustration hydreigon... it’s not pretty. n obviously nails it. colress never personally tries but it’s an interesting phenomenon all the same. lysandre also does well because his gyarados actually does seem to like him a lot. lusamine should not have tried this with an ultra beast. guzma goes all street samurai with his golisopod and it’s AMAZING.
