Frisk smiled, chuckling just a bit as they nodded in response to what the other had said. Honestly, it was starting to get kind of uncanny, with how many of them were starting to show up. Not that Frisk really minded all that much, of course. They liked getting to meet other versions of themselves. It could be quite nice, from their few experiences with the matter. 

* Yeah, I don’t believe we’ve met before, either! Though it is nice to meet you. ... As awkward as it can be, sometimes.

Frisk gave their other self another polite smile, before continuing. 

*Nonetheless, how’re you?

[*Well wasn’t that a familiar face?  Frisk was already starting to get used to seeing so many of themselves they had considered starting a Frisk club.  They smiled back at the other them, trying to push down their deja vu feeling they got around other thems.]

*Ah, hello!  Um… I don’t think I’ve met you…er well YOU you specifically, before.  Heh… even after meeting so many versions of ourselves, it’s still kinda awkward talking to another self.

Frisk was silent for a moment, allowing a bit of a smile to form on their face. Honestly, at this point, they had gotten used to the sight of other version’s of themselves. It... really didn’t phase them much, if at all, anymore. Alternate Timelines existed, after all. 

Shrugging, they finally brought up a hand to wave at the other, approaching them. “Hiya--”

Chara nods, shrugging once again. 

- Yeah, at least for them- For now. 

- And yes, that’s probably a good idea--

As the other placed the money on the table, Chara sighed, reaching into their own pockets for some-- Frisk had agreed to pay for part of it, after all. Might as well keep up their part of the deal. 

However, rather quickly, they pushed themselves up from their seat, following after the other Chara. 

- So, what do you want to do now? 

◙ A ‘happy ending’ for them, at least.

[ * Chara sneers at the table a little, and digs in their pocket for some cash.]

◙ It’s not fast enough for me. C’mon, let’s leave before I start wanting to tear up the place by the roots.

[ * They toss enough and a little more on the table (thanks Frisk), and slink over to the door, waiting for their double. It has started snowing outside.]

Tumblr’s new messenger

If I don’t reply to you, it’s probably because:

Chara scoffs a bit, leaning back in the seat, now. Their voice is still hushed as they speak, just to be safe. 

- Mm... They were insistent on giving the monsters their ‘happy ending’ that they reset over the first time.  - Not that I’m really complaining about it- Even though I haven’t gotten to do much yet with this timeline. 

- Though things’ll happen with time. 

[ * Chara idly watches the bar as their twin explains in hushed tones. They lean their chin on their hand.]

◙ I’m impressed you’ve made it all the way. Mine keeps insisting or resetting without warning to prevent our last ascent.

- Yes, three times. All the way to the end.  - First time the Monsters reached the surface; and then there was a reset.  - Second time, everyone was killed-- - And this, the third time, was a repeat of the first... With some obvious changes.

[ * They play with their last fry on their place.]

◙ All the way to the end? Or… interrupted partway through?

[ * Their other hand is fidgeting, takking their nails on the table, the plate, uncomfortable.]

Mmkay, headcanon time for Chara! 

After much thought, I definitely will be using the headcanon that Chara was the flavor text in-game-- Being a sort of guide to Frisk during the Pacifist Run, and up until the point where Chara takes control in no-mercy-- 

That headcanon is just too good to pass up, and I absolutely love it! 

Anyways, as for what happened in No-mercy route with my Chara and Frisk? Well, like you guys saw in those drabbles a bit ago... They kind of lost it when Frisk killed Toriel in their no-mercy timeline, and took control there as revenge; as well as the fact that they felt like they needed more LOVE and EXP. (Think of it as an addiction, and then sugar high, if anything)

And, since I have the whole redemption arc thing going on... Chara’s only, just now, starting to calm their shit from all of that.

They sit there, quiet for a moment. Thinking over how they would answer the other’s question. 

- ... As for how many times we’ve done this?  - Mm... This was the third time. 

◙ It would’ve been better with some chocolate… and probably if it had been baked.

[ * Chara snorts quietly, toying with their fries. They glance up at their twin, like they’re figuring out what to say.]

◙ How… many times have you done this? Come back, I mean.

[ * They mouth the word ‘Reset’. The bar is noisy, but just in case.]
