As we enjoy this three day weekend with family and friends, let us not forget why Americans have a day off to relax and enjoy. Great #concert last night @langtreelkn @chicagorewired This band did the original Chicago proud. We brought our granddaughters. One wanted to be in the spotlight and danced all evening; the other was a little shy but enjoyed watching. The youngest ended up “falling in love” with a little fellow half her age 😳. She was heartbroken #❤️️ when the evening was over. But she still insisted on meeting the lead singer before we left. Oh what a night. #musiclovers and #younglove❤️ (at LangTree Lake Norman)

A reminder that all the best people were once beginners. If you want to become really good at something, keep practicing even when you don’t see progress immediately. You can’t see it, but you’re improving a little bit every time you practice. Keep going and one day you’ll be amazing at it.
