Christmas Music 2023 Original Composition for orchestra

It has suddenly got cold here, and I saw a lot of illuminations that reminded me Christmas when commuting.

I wanted to make a joyful music for the upcoming season.

The sheetmusic made with Musescore 4.1.1.

Instrumentation is as follows:

2 Flutes, 2 Oboes, 2 Clarinets in B♭, 2 Bassoons, 4 French Horns in F, 2 Trumpets in B♭, 3 Trombones, 1 Tuba, Timpani, Glockenspiel, Xylophone, Vibraphone, Cymbals, Suspend cymbal, Triangle, Tambourine, Violins I, Violins II, Violas, Violoncellos, Basses.

I tried to make a music that sounds Christmassy without sleigh bells and choirs.

I'm really looking forward to watch the movie, actually it's not on cinema right now where I live. I couldn't wait for it, so I purchased the OST and thoroughly impressed the second track, "Press Start". I decided to share what I dictated by ear with 8-bit Mario gif animations.

Hanami Party Is Back! Original Composition Musescore 4

It’s finally back! Hanami, like a picnic to enjoy viewing the cherry blossoms was being banned during COVID-19 pandemic.

I came up with making a bright orchestral music after taking a short trip with my family to view the cherry blossoms.

The motif of "Sakura sakura", one of Japanese folk song, appears in the middle.

Bullet Train Trip Original Composition Contemporary Music by Musescore 4

I had some business trips recently, took bullet trains(新幹線) many times. This piece is an impression of the trip especially when I took the train, waiting for it at the platform, seeing a passing train at 260km/h, and so on.

I’m also a big fan of Honegger’s Pacific 231, at first I thought composing like that but the passengers in the cabin can’t hear any noises when an actual bullet train speeding up/slowing down, so I tried to write down what I came up with.

This is the first time to compose with quadruple woodwind orchestra.

Christmas music 2022 - original Composition also celebrating the release of Musescore 4

I composed this piece after downloading the musescore 4 RC to admire the huge improvement and the developers’ effort.

I wanted to make a something christmassy, I came up with a choral in three keys, C major, A flat major and F major. Then, I added a canon and a fugato in the middle.
