read a post about Bruce giving each Robin a code to use when they need dire rescue and thought of Stephanie. Stephanie, holding onto the code so tight she never uses it. She doesn't dare waste it.

Stephanie uses her code exactly once, when she's not even a Robin, where she knows no one will find her in time.

He doesn't come to save her.

But that's okay, she didn't think he would anyway.

Okay but with how Guy Gardner has been consistently shown to be good with kids in the comics...he'd make an awesome dad. Also probably drive the other parent nuts with prank wars where the kid is an accomplice.

No you don’t understand I am and will always be staunchly child free but Guy with kids is so fucking important to me 😭😭😭.

Of all the dc men he would make one of the best dads . It’s not just that he’s good with kids canonically, he literally got an education degree and then used it to work with special needs kids.

The amount of patience and care that takes is ENORMOUS. I did three years of an education degree, and I loved it, but the mental toll it took on me was too much. To be not only a teacher but a social worker at one point ?!?! Those are in my opinion some of the hardest jobs in the world.

Guy grew up in an incredibly abusive household and by all rights could have turned out bitter and angry, instead he took that and channeled it into loving kids.

Guy would be such a fun and outwardly loving parent he would be his kids biggest supporter. He’s going to every game/recital/competition. He’s filming it, he’s yelling obnoxiously loud about how great his kid is.

He would NEVER smack one of his kids (looking at you Bruce 🤨)
