Winning? Is that what you think it’s about? I’m not trying to win. I’m not doing this because I want to beat someone … or because I hate someone or because I want to blame someone. It’s not because it’s fun. God knows it’s not because it’s easy. It’s not even because it works because it hardly ever does. I do what I do because it’s right! Because it’s decent. And above all, it’s kind. It’s just that. Just kind. If I run away today, good people will die. If I stand and fight, some of them might live … maybe not many, maybe not for long. Hey, maybe there’s no point in any of this at all, but it’s the best I can do, and I will stand here doing it until it kills me. You’re going to die, too, someday. When will that be? Have you thought about it? What would you die for? Who I am is where I stand. Where I stand is where I fall.

Watching this video of Ross in "A Chorus Line" is so fun. You can tell just how much fun he's having.

Ross talked about his Chorus Line costume being a leotard and even showed a picture of the costume on his Snapchat. But what he didn't do is show us him wearing the costume. We should all Tweet Ross and Stormie to get some pics of him in it. I bet his booty is bangin' in that leotard!

I like this idea. I also think that Routney fans going to any of the upcoming R5 shows should show Ross our support by bringing Routney supporting signs. Not only would it show him that there are those of us out there who are cool with the relationship, but I’m sure it will put a smile on his face when he sees them.
And for all of you who are Raura fans or just don’t think Ross should be with Courtney, why don’t you keep your thoughts away from Ross? First, he’s not going to make his life decisions based on what you want. And it’s rude of you to try to tell him who he should and shouldn’t date. His own parents don’t do that to him.
He also seems really happy with Courtney and Courtney seems very happy with him. And she seems to be very respectful of the R5 fans and Ross’ relationship with them.

I don’t want to make a big of a deal out of nothing but this interview is quite a disturbing one.
So in this interview they have to read their fortune for 2016 and when it was Ross’s turn he got at Luck in love: “A small failure will make you aware of it’s important meaning.” but before to read that he said: “The fans are gonna love this but I don’t!”. Basically he admitted that he sees all this hate towards his girlfriend and that he thinks that we, his fans, don’t like his relationship and that we’ll be glad if they’ll fight/broke up.
So the fans from Instagram, me included, started a thing where we comment nice things on his pics with Courtney or with them together in an attempt to show him that we actually support his relationship and that we’re happy for him.
But as usual Raura shippers (not all of them obviously) came and they start to “ruin” this thing by commenting stuff like “Raura forever”, “Raura is better than Rourtney” or “We hate Courtney, she’s a bitch”.
So what I’m trying to do here is to ask your help and, if you want, to comment nice things on Ross’s pics about him, his girlfriend and his relationship.
Let’s use our time to do something nice as showing our idol how much we love him and we respect his choices!
Thank you! xoxo

Oh yes. He has no right to get angry with her. She just was constantly following him and his family. And she just published his family's address for the world to see. And she just threatened to publish his private phone number if he didn't do what she wanted him to do. So you tell me when he should have gotten pissed about it. Screw knocking her phone into the street, if I were him, she would have been arrested by that point. It's not about any fandom. It's about a celebrity's right to some privacy.

Honestly, I’m happy I’m out of this fandom. This shit is getting too whacked. Ashton is just a sarong as Jayden is. Sure he shouldn’t have been following him around but in all honesty, seeing the way Ashton acted and reacted was disgusting.

Here’s the thing. When you enter a job as an actor/actress or musician, you realize that you’ll be giving up a lot of your privacy due to your fans and the paparazzi. And, as far as I’m concerned, that’s fine when these people are “on the job.” But when they’re taking some down time to decompress, like any of us want to do when we get some vacation time from our job, then I think everyone should respect that. I think it’s even more important when they’re with their families. They may have chosen to give up some of their privacy; but their families didn’t. So, for god’s sake, show these people some respect.
And I have a message for that entitled prick following Ashton and his family around. It might be your job to catch a pic or two of him. It’s definitely not your job to follow them around all day. In fact, you’re lucky that Ashton was nice enough to just tell you to leave him and his family alone. If that were me, you would have been dealing with a stalking charge from the police. The same goes for whoever posted his family’s address. Thats’ invasion of privacy.

Today isn’t a day to be sad. Today’s a day to celebrate the life of one of the greatest singers, songwriters and entertainers this world has ever seen. So, find yourself some footage like this, sit back and smile at the great music and performances that this man gave us. Thank you Freddie Mercury. You may be gone; but your music and legacy and Queen’s legacy are stronger than ever.

40 years ago today, Bohemian Rhapsody was released as a single in the UK. Taking you from a ballad to mock opera to headbanging rock and roll and back in the span of six minutes, it still is, in my opinion, one of the most creative pieces of pop/rock music of all time. I’ve never gotten sick of the song since I first discovered it for myself. I still remember it very clearly. TV commercials for “Wayne’s World” kept showing them headbanging to the rock section. I loved the sound of it and wanted to know what that cool sounding rock song was. A few weeks later MTV (which actually showed music videos at the time) said they were going to debut the new single from the Wayne’s World soundtrack. When the opening choir of Bo Rhap came on, I was disappointed hoping it would be that rock song. But, I kept listening because I did like the harmonies in the opening. Then when the ballad kicked in, between the melody and the opening line of “Mama, just killed a man,” I was drawn in. Then when the opera section hit, I was like “What the heck is this?!” Needless to say, that kept my attention until... “Oh my God! It is that rock song!” As the song drew to a close, I sat there in awe of what I just heard. I couldn’t believe a group made a song that did all of that in the span of a few minutes.
Does anyone else have an interesting story of when they first heard Bohemian Rhapsody?

I can’t believe that this song is now 20 years old. I still love it just as much as the first time I heard it. I don’t know what exactly it means to me. But I know there’s something in those lyrics that mean a lot to me. And when Oasis broke up, I thought that was the last time I’d ever get to hear that song live again. So, it was a great surprise when Noel reworked it to suit his voice and give us another amazing version when I saw him on tour this year.

To be fair to Ross, I think he meant well with what he said. The problem is that, when it comes to clinical depression and self harm, Ross is obviously ignorant when it comes to the subject. He must not have any close family members that are dealing with it.
Don’t get me wrong, I can completely understand why what he said upset you. It seems people who don’t have family that have issues like clinical depression, bipolar disorder, etc have trouble comprehending these issues. It’s not like they can see the chemical imbalances that cause them. And I don’t think calling it clinical depression helps. They hear “depression” and think of people getting “depressed” when their pet dies or something and they’re said for awhile before they “get over it” and move on. If only clinical depression could be solved that easily.
I personally dealt with people’s misunderstandings when I was suffering panic attacks after my dad’s death. If you’ve never suffered a panic attack, you’re very lucky. You feel like you can’t breath and you don’t want to move. And I was told by my boss at the time, “Well, just stop panicking and get to work!” I see people also not getting my sister’s issues that she has due to being bipolar.
I think the best thing to do would be to try to spread the word that what Ross said is not the way to stopping clinical depression and maybe give some good tips so that anyone here on tumblr who might be suffering can get through things. And maybe, just maybe, someone can get the word to Ross that what he said came off as offensive to those suffering from self harm and clinical depression and try to help him understand what it really is and what he, and R5, can do to help their fans suffering from depression, that is, if they really want to try to help their fans.
[I’m really angry because of what Ross Lynch said about self-harm. I was so angry when I first watched the video I couldn’t even make this post until now. I’ve struggled with depression for 6 or so years and I’m almost a year clean from cutting, so this is all a very serious and important issue for me. What Ross said was incredibly ignorant to the nature of mental illness. He said, “There’s so much to life, so much beauty, so much love. It’s everywhere, you just have to look for it.”
No. That’s not how it works. Depression sucks the energy out of you. There are days when just dragging yourself out of bed is something to celebrate. There are days when you can’t bring yourself to do anything. Every day with depression is a day fighting against self loathing and this general feeling of emptiness and listlessness. You can’t just “look” for the good in life when you can’t even enjoy the things that used to make you so happy. On top of that, depression doesn’t give a fuck about the beauty around you. You could live in the fucking Garden of Eden surrounded by peacefulness and holy beauty and shit and still be fucking depressed so don’t talk to me about how much good there is the world. Fuck you.
Besides, self-harm isn’t even about not seeing the good in the world. Self-harm is about punishing yourself for existing.
I know how important actors and singers can be to the young fans who look up to them. When I was in high school I had Darren Criss and the song Not Alone to get me through. I wish that Ross Lynch had used his platform to say something that might’ve actually helped people instead of the same neurotypical rhetoric garbage we hear constantly. I feel genuinely awful for the sixteen year olds who heard that, to be honest. If I’d heard that at sixteen from someone I idolized I would’ve been crushed, and if anything it would’ve made me feel more isolated and alone.]
