Thoughts

So... after some serious thought, and staying off Tumblr for a few months to do some soul-searching, how's this for an idea?

I think in the spirit of making a proper conclusion, almost everything from S2 is scrapped including the lockdown, save for the memory pieces?

Instead, it involves them tackling the Second Coming, or rather trying to indirectly alter it, while Gabriel is trying to root them out. After the Nonpocalypse, I doubt he wants the Ineffable Husbands interfering with Great Plan again. That goes double for his superior The Metatron, who has been pulling the ol' propaganda machine for the "Return to Form" that the Second Coming is offering.

As for what Aziraphale and Crowley were up to before the plans started up again, they more than a little likely were forging their relationship together: growing closer, going to the Ritz, Crowley moving in (I keep imagining the bookshop has some level of sentience, thanks to Aziraphale's influence. A stationary, holy version of the Bentley, so it can give a little more or less room, when needed.), they get a nice little piece of paradise together for a few years.

"But what about the Lockdown??" Nope, not keeping it. Not because it didn't offer anything good, because oh God did it offer some good innuendo souffle, but because... to be completely honest, no one wants to be reminded of how awful being forcibly locked inside, and being persecuted for wanting to be free to roam again.

"And what about Beelzebub?" I think after that kind of failure, a coup happens, leading Shax to forcibly take the reins, and preps the forces to take on Jesus. I keep thinking Beel is the one to spill the beans on the progress of Heaven and Hell to the Ineffables, choosing to screw over their former side rather than laying down and dying.

Also, we NEED Pratchett's version of Death to pop up in it!

If anyone wants to brainstorm this with me, I'm all ears!

Sad Aziraphale Take

Hey so remember the Final Fifteen exchange about nothing lasting forever and the bookshop?

Remember what happened to the bookshop in season 1? So did Aziraphale.

And if Heaven or Hell was willing to do that to someplace considered a middle ground, then things HAVE to change. For Crowley's sake, for Humanity's sake.

S3 idea

Instead of having strictly reverting back to his Angel eyes or keeping his demonic eyes, what if Crowley gets to keep his yellow eyes, but gets Angel/human-like pupils?

A bit of gift art for @goth-automaton, since it was something I hadn't done in well over a couple decades. Was great fun to make a fankiddo like this, especially of an Organization XIII ship. Luxen isn't too common, but a very fun idea!

I find the idea of keeping Funko Pops forever sealed in their box to be kinda dumb. They should be out, about, customized, get a couple dings, get a bit sunkissed, get repaired, go through a bit of roughness... it shows that they were loved. Just like other knickknacks and collectibles.

If Aziraphale and Crowley had a kid, their birth would possibly be marked by some crazy weather or astronomical events.

And so our strange little story concludes...

or does it? See, Crowley's got Crowley eyes, but little Aziraphale just got the default black button eyes, and well, he simply doesn't. And so, I got to thinking... "What if I fixed that?"

Taped up his face and gesso'd his eyes.

After the gesso dried, his pupils were sketched, and the color was picked and mixed : Storm Gray. Let him cure a full day, and it was on to actually painting him. It took several tries to get the lines remotely straight, but here's the 80% done phase.

All he needed was some cleanup on the rims of his eyes and pupils, as well as a nice matte finished seal.

And after doing just that...

I think they deserve a bit of rest after that long ordeal, don't you?

Found a Funko Crowley without his Aziraphale... such is life.
