Adventure Logs - 1/31-2/7/17
Raanday, the 7th day of Cornith
Floor 2 ○ The heroes find themselves tending to their wounds for a bit after killing Odur and finding out they have a little less than 2 hours remaining before the completion on the summoning of Kul Elna's terrible monster. ○ Seeing that the initial way ahead of them was covered in boiling water, the team headed off in search of a different way down. ○ They crossed over a bridge of lava, carefully avoiding an imperceptive flameskull and a sleeping black ooze on the ceiling. ○ Kara found a wall that was almost alive with weird mulch-like qualities, and smashed ehr way through it. ○ There they found stairs, and carefully stepped past the fire snakes wandering around the area.
Floor 3 ○ Coming down the stairs, they find a a family of pixies who have found themselves trapped in this horrid place. ○ Trym promises to come back for them and help them escape, but the pixies were not much help. ○ Further on down this cavernous structure, they find a family of fire bears, who seem threatened at first, but Trym calms them down. ○ Wandering even further still, the group comes across a room filled with pillars and a large Giant statue. ○ Rinn and Kara both step into the pillars and immediately start falling into and endless pit, but they are quickly pulled out by Cletus, as there is no actual pit there. ○ Eventually they get to a large open space filled with an enormous lava river and a number of cultists. ○ A fight ensues, ending in all of the cultists dying and a large door on the other side of the river being opened.
Floor 4 ○ The stair descend into the heard of the volcano. Lava is everywhere and the heat is unbelievably intense. ○ Following the winding hallways, leads the group to a small living area (for what???) ○ There they found an enchanted forge that combined the pieces of the daggar into one. ○ Past the forge they see Annas Colo performing a ritual to someone the monster. ○ Krig convinces Martin to charge forward and the battle begins. ○ Annas proved to be an encredibly powerful sorceress and nearly killed both Rinn and Martin several times. ○ Kul Elna even comes out to fight but Kara meets him head on with Atem's Razor (the daggar) and finally kills him. ○ Annas Colo sees that her fate is grim, falling to her knees, she took two arrows and fell into the lava. ○ After a short celebration, they leave the center of the volcano, find the pixies and leave the temple, making camp on the side of the mountain.
Vilthday, the 8th day of Cornith
After wards ○ The next morning, the group discussed what their next plans were, and came to these conclusions. ○ Martin agreed to not go back to Senlin if Krig and Cletus helped reform the city and remove the power from the few and give it back to the people. ○ Krig and Cletus plan on doing that by spreading the word of Teek-Teek. ○ Kara wants to either go visit Bihn Tarir Keep or spend some time forging weapons. ○ Trym wants to go back to Redwickmoore and work at the Silver Wain in by day, carousing by night, as well as give the Daggar to Anys. ○ Rinn now has enough money to buy his wife, and plans on doing just that; everyone will be invited to the wedding. ○ Anys will give the daggar to some clerics higher up in the order, as they will know what to do. ○ Everyone plans on meeting back in the Silver Wain in about 2 months later.

Adventure Log 12/13-20/16
Raanday, the 7th day of Cornith
Floor 1 ○ The group took a few minutes to recooperate, then investigated a door to the west. ○ Upong walking into this banquet room, Rinn sees a beautiful mosaic on the wall of a sad looking woman and immediately is unable to move. ○ Loud screams bring everyone else into the room to grab her and bring her back out. ○ Krig wanted to explore the door to the north of the banquet room, so he crept inand found a sitting room where all of the furnitue was in a pile in the center, on fire. ○ He crept back out, careful to not look at the mosaic. ○ The group then followed the hallway to the east and found another hallway to the south where a number of cultists were fighting a large fire elemental and the joined the fight. ○ While Krig was excited to have the elemental join the party, Rinn was not, and she made sure to kill it along with the cultists. ○ At the end of this hallway to the east, there is a large set of doors that Trym looked behind, only to find a large female fire giant fast asleep. ○ They decided not to go this way and retaced their steps back to the dirst hallway and continued onwards. ○ At the end of this hallway was a throne room filed with Shriekers who screamed quite loudly at the approach of the party. ○ After much bickering, they agreed to try to quickly take out the shriekers quickly so they could explore the area. ○ Trym found a secret passage north of the flaming pool of lava that lead to a rocky passage connecting the throne room, the fire giants bedroom, and some secret stairs. ○ They tried to go down the stairs but found themselves at a dead end and had to double back. ○ They took another short rest here and pressed on. ○ After a little bit of going backwards, the found themselves heading north down a passage, turn west, and storm into a mmagical library with an insane drow searching for as powerful scroll. ○ After trying to get some info out of him, they gave up, but Krig tricked him into thinking he had found the scroll and threw it away. ○ Everyone else ran down some stairs on the other side of the library, followed by Kirg, and hopefully not the drow (Isotorros Waegloryn)
Floor 2 ○ Comming down the stairs they rushed across the hallway into a dormitory where they rested a little bit more before heading west down the hallway. ○ The group explored some of the doors but Rinn opened a door that some might call "EXTREMELY CREAKY" and a number of cultists came running down the hallway. ○ Kara tried to open another door to hide in but was unable to open this magical door. Rinn figured out that you needed to push with as little force ○ as possible, leaned on it, and fell in, followed by her friends. ○ Inside they found a sort of indoor arcane garden. Trym was able to harvest some healing roots from the plants to help her friends. ○ Then they readied a plan before opening the door and killing all of the cultists. ○ Having found this dead end, the headed back down the hallway and went north instead. ○ In a room to the left, they found a cultists being attacked by purple fungi, screaming for help. ○ His partners had abandoned him and Martin lead the front to save the defensless man. ○ After rescuing him, he gave up information on where the next cultists were hiding. ○ In return, Martin allowed him to live. ○ The gang followed his directions and found a group of cultists being lead by Odur. ○ Odur talked to them for a little bit, just trying to buy time. ○ Eventually a fight broke out and all but one of the cultists were killed. ○ The last cultist told the group where Annas Colo and the last of the cultists went, and he ran away as well.

Adventure Log 11/29/16
Hilnsday, the 5th day of Cornith ○ The group finally arrived at the outskirts of Senlin by sunset and found themselves outside a very nice wooden wall of the city. ○ The gates were locked and there was no one outside, so someone knocked on the door and spoke to a guard. ○ The guard revealed that the city's curfew was just starting to be in effect and that they shouldn't be out. ○ Upon hearing from Cletus that they were heading to the closest inn, the guard let them in and monitored them until they got into the inn. ○ Everyone meets Albearda the owner of the Leaping Spirit Tavern. ○ She explains that Senlin is known for its fine cuisine, and offers them a number of delicious dinners to choose from. ○ She also talked with the group about the town's hierarchy with the Church of Wastri, and recommends them to help with finding the last temple. Shoneday, the 6th day of Cornith ○ The next morning, Trym suggests that the party goes to the main church in town. ○ There they see the most magnificent cathedral any of them had ever seen. ○ Inside were dozens of acolytes wandering around. ○ After trying to find a knowledgeable acolyte and failing, Kara gets frustrated. ○ She marched down the center isle towards the main altar where thee where three figures in a different color of robes from the rest of the acolytes. ○ The demanded information from them, and they introduced themselves as the bishops of the church. ○ The elf in the middle was Arch-Bishop Navear, the leader of the Church of Wastri here in Senlin. ○ He was surrounded by his left and right hand people, High Elf Bishop Sh'Lia and Wood Elf Bishop Crim. ○ Arch-Bishop Navear offered his help to the party if they could take care of a certain Dragonborn problem they are having. ○ He then leaves and Kara is left to talk to Bishop Crim who says there is a blasphemous Dargonborn Paladin who has been causing problem and they want him gone. ○ Everyone leaves the cathedral to find the Dragonborn named Martin but they don't have to look far. ○ He is right outside rallying in front of a bunch of people. ○ Those people are not very happy with him and Krig doesn't help by starting racist dragonborn chants. ○ The rest of the group talk with Martin and convince him to help them fight the fire temple if in return they help him liberate the city when they return. ○ Which this development, Cletus swung back around to grab the info on where the last temple might be. ○ While leaving the city, the rest of the group watches Martin and Krig clash and eventually start fighting each other. ○ It gets broken up but Martin doesn’t not like Krig any more. ○ When Cletus gets back, everyone sets off towards the Tovesh Mountains. ○ With no road anymore, Cletus works hard to keep everyone on the right path, but this path goes straight through an enormous swamp. ○ They keep having to go back retracing their steps due to getting caught in muddy swamp water. ○ Eventually they make it through the swamp and find themselves at the base of the mountain where they make camp for the night. Raanday, the 7th day of Cornith ○ The next morning, the group spent a couple hours scaling the mountain and finding the entrance to the volcano. ○ They walked down a dark cave for a while with the air getting warmer and warmer. ○ The eventually get to a large opening and a large stone door with with holes in it; one filled with fire and two not. ○ Trym figures out that the other two holes need fire so she sets them on fire too and the door opens. ○ They find themselves in a temple with enormously high ceilings lit by lamps in the middle of the floor. ○ Trym walks around and gets ambushed by a bunch of heavily armored cultists. ○ The battle is difficult but Martin helps out. ○ The floor is littered with holes and chasms everywhere. ○ Finally, the battle is one, and only one or two members of the party had been knocked out.

Adventure Log 11/15/16
Vilthday, the 3rd day of Cornith ○ The next morning, the group had a quick chat with Iroh and Anys in hopes of coming up with a plan to save Krig. ○ Rinn came up with the idea of trying to break into the house  around 11, as it is too late for Annas to be home for breakfast, but too early for lunch. ○ The party left for Redwickmoore, trying to stay as inconspicuous as possible, even when passing by what appeared to be a large wizarding duel in the middle of the streets. ○ When they approached the pass into the inner tier, they were stopped by a guard and told to wait to have their faces compared to the faces of some wanted thieves posters. ○ Thanks to some quick thinking by Cletus and Trym, they were able to get by without having to do that. ○ Navigating the inner tier took some time, but they eventually found their way to the back of Annas' house and snuck in the door. ○ Not sneaky enough though; the displacer beasts came running down, followed by Krig who immediately began attacking his friends. ○ Luckily, the non-mind controlled heroes were able to take out the displacers beasts and tie Krig up in some rope. ○ Then they began to search the house in case the last piece of the dagger was somewhere here. ○ Krig leads them to the room that Annas came from, hoping to find some sort of clue. ○ As they walk into the room, everyone immediately became blind. ○ Some trial and error led Cletus to discover that the carpet was causing this, and by rolling it up, everyone's eye sight came back. ○ After some extensive looks into the walls of the room, someone finds a slight difference in the walls and finds a hidden room. ○ In the room, a chest is found, but on touching it, a trap is set off caused a loud thunderous explosion knocking everyone down and causing major damage to those closest. ○ Grabbing the chest and leaving, the group runs out the front door only to be spotted by two dozen guards with more running down the street. ○ They immediately turn tail and run but the guards are quickly catching up. ○ From out of nowhere a hooded figure jumps out into the street in front of the squad, casts a spell that creates a large blue arcane circle around the group, and everyone is teleported to safety. ○ When the heroes begin to open their eyes again, they find themselves in Iroh's barn, and the hooded figure is Iroh. ○ He explains that he may have mislead them in his skillset but that had heard that Annas' Colo was leaving Redwickmoore that night and the summoning of Kul-Elna's mighty monster was coming soon. ○ They immediately set out on their way to Kyoti. Mooreday, the 4th day of Cornith ○ Arrive in Kyoti Hilnsday, the 5th day of Cornith ○ The party was traveling to Senlin, the northen town closest to the mountains. ○ The rolling hills and trees in the distance are home to a herd of Elephants. ○ This was Rinn's first experience with elephants and she kind of lost it.

Adventure Log 11/8/16
Raanday, the 2nd Day of Cornith ○ They went into Redwickmoore ○ Spent some time at the rebranded Silver Waine Inn, and finally learned' Khundo's name. ○ Then they tried to go to the palace the find Annas Colo. ○ Despite successfully making it into the inner tier of the city, they could not get past the palace guards. ○ Eventually they gave up and went to meet with their old friend Lord Amator Oakwalker. ○ He was pleasantly surprised with their progress. And offered an in the the palace but it would take about 2 days time. ○ This was not soon enough for the group, so they went off in search of Annas' house ○ They came up empty handed and returned to the Silver Waine Inn. ○ Later, Trym has the idea to hire a letter boy to deliver some flowers to Annas' house hoping the letter boy would lead them to her house ○ The plan worked well, as Trym followed in cat form and found the house with relative ease. ○ Later that night, everyone left the Silver Waine to sneak into the upper city. ○ After getting past the guards, and finding the house, Cletus shared his idea of making distracting noises at the front door, while Krig sneaks in the second floor window. ○ While the distraction works, Krig is quickly found by Annas Colo who takes complete control over his body. ○ Someone in the party realizes this and a battle quickly ensues downstairs. ○ Annas Colo breaks Krig down, and threatens to kill him if the party doesn't leave immediately. ○ She will have no one threaten her plan to become the ruler of Matemsa. ○ The gang had no choice but the agree with her, and left the city(per her instructions) ○ Everyone left to visit Iroh, and sleep on the hay that he offered them

Adventure Log 11/1/16
Mooreday, the 19th day of Dresith ○ Kara led the party down the mountain, finding the road that would take them to Makapu, the next closest town. ○ This took the better part of the day, so everyone rested before finishing the final descent. Hilnsday, the 20th day of Dresith ○ Thee group finished climbing down the mountain, and quickly passed through Makapu without so much as a howdy-do. ○ From there, they continued along the road to Trudid. ○ As they walked past a small extension of Fryll grove, Trym felt a sense of dread. ○ Running out of the forest was a wounded unicorn, followed by 2 flying, cloaked creatures. ○ The party took out their weapons in preparation, but aas soon as the unicorn got to the party, it teleported away, along with Trym. ○ The two cloaked figures slowed the pace and stopped relatively close to the group. ○ Krig recognized these creatures as the the figures that rewarded him for stealing form the Manor in Ashborne. ○ After some discussion, the two creatures, who turned out to be wraiths, teleported the group away to their mysterious Master. ○ Trym, meanwhile found herself in Fryll Grove, with a wounded unicorn, who she surmised had not been around for very long. ○ She healed the unicorn and set of for Trudid, hoping to meet her friends there. ○ Everyone else found themselves in the house of Countess Sofiel, a local noble in Redwickmoore. ○ She pleaded with the party to help her get the unicorn horn so she can save her lover, Frovar. ○ The party reluctantly agreed, not knowing that Trym had already named the Unicorn Jacques. ○ Before being teleported back to the road, someone suggested they go see Anys. ○ They found the temple in ruins, having been burned this very morning. ○ After some investigation, Krig and Trym found that no one was inside, ○ Kara met a young acolyte who was worried for Anys, but didn't get much info from her other than Iroh had been around a lot lately. ○ They returned to the Countess' house and she teleported them back to the road. ○ After waiting in Trudid for a couple of hours, Trym returned to the Grove to check on Jacques. ○ Somehow, the party reunited in the forest that night, and made plans to kills the Wariths. ○ Kara also informed the party that she thought Countess Sofiel was a succubus. Shoneday, the 1st day of Cornith ○ The party leaves the forest at dawn to ambush the Wraith, but finds out that they have been ambushed with the Succubus appearing as well. ○ A few lucky shots early causes the succubus to flea and one o the wraiths to give up, allowing the party to kill him. ○ Jacques thanks the party for their help and begins to make Fryll Grove his long time home. ○ Everyone leaves for Redwickmoore to see Iroh before the day is over, hoping he is not dead. ○ As it turns out, he is alive, and he had been keeping Anys safe in his barn, where he offered everyone to stay the night.
