Never did I actually believe we would have a dog (or at least not without five to ten more years of begging, at least) but Lily dropped into our lives at a time of chaos and change and fell right into place in our home. Even with her difficult past, this dog is never mean, aggressive or ill-mannered in any way. She has become our mushroom/hiking/honestly getting lost around the neighborhood buddy, our welcome home with a peek of her head around the corner of our bedroom, and a beloved bit of our family.
