I feel like a robot. like all of my emotions are recycled from the past and it feels like there’s some kind of barrier between the present world around me and my brain. I don’t know what is missing but it’s something. I haven’t lost my faith in God, I haven’t stopped writing songs and painting and doing things I liked to do all my life. all hope isn’t lost but at the same time it feels like there’s just something not there. Like I’m running on a battery and it’s going to drain out soon

I wanna be one of those people you see one day, but then you hear about how I’m in Louisiana now. Time passes by, a long time, and I pop up again at the parties with my one friend who always brings me along, talking about how Spain was. I buy a plane ticket one place, always a one way but end up someplace else. I don’t mind being home, that’s why I always come back. You always wanna talk to me, and I always wanna talk to you but neither of us ever do. Until I see you someplace outside the hangout group, the beach, a local 7-11. That’s where we kick it off
