I was suicidal yesterday but today I’m feeling a bit better. I’m glad! Coincidentally I’m sick, so I get the day off to recover, it’s nice.

its not chinese, its japanese, but i have a little watercolour sparrow (?) painting on my wall, with calligraphy and a traditional frame. i love it a lot, and it was painted by a family member!

i had to go outside to get a package today. it made me realise how i rarely leave my house.it was just before sunset so it wasn't too bright for me, and my front yard is lovely so it ended up being kind of pleasant. i still rushed back inside though! its still pretty scary . . . theres an old pond and theres so many frogs in it, you cant hear them inside so it was nice. we used to have koi fish, left over from the previous owners, but i think they all died . . . we still have one little koi fish statue. speaking of the old owners, my house is very traditional chinese. i love it, its what i've known my whole life so its comforting. my parents don't like it though, they want it to be modern. i think thats sad. a lot of the littler things have been moved to my room now. i'm glad i can keep them.
