✧.* general traveler headcanons; tags: some angst, some lighthearted.

the traveler feels restless and uneasy when completely alone. they've always been by their twin's side, and if not their twin, paimon— so they're never quite sure of what to do with themself when all alone.

they like to draw!! but aren't good at it. oops. the traveler tried drawing their missing twin for amber to add to the missing person posters, but... let's just say it would be easier to use words to describe the twin as opposed to using what they drew. it was an endearing effort, though!

they keep a journal (or, rather, multiple journals) of all the interesting discoveries they've made throughout the worlds they travel. they sometimes look back at them and reminisce, especially when missing their twin. it almost feels wrong to write a journal for teyvat without their twin's help, but they do it anyways in hopes they can tell their missing twin all about their adventures once they reunite!

the traveler is actually very skilled in all weapon types, including self defense and hand-to-hand combat. you never know what you'll encounter and what might happen! plus, there were plenty of opportunities to learn from masters of each weapon type throughout their travels, so they enjoy refining their skills with each world they travel to. they've always found the sword to be their favorite, however.

they will eat like anything, they are not a picky eater. they've tried all sorts of food in their travels! however... slimes and abnormal creatures like that somehow crosses a line for them. sorry, paimon and xiangling! maybe one day!

they looove stargazing. they often find themself thinking about the other worlds they've visited, what they might find in the next world they visit... what their missing twin might be doing right now. it's a bittersweet feeling lately... usually the twins stargazed together, so when it's just the traveler and paimon has fallen asleep, the silence feels slightly melancholic. the traveler will decide it's time for bed, at that point, after promising to the stars that they will reunite with their twin soon.

the twins actually have a habit of knowing what each other feel, think, or what they will say when around each other. it isn't out of place for them to finish each other's thoughts, or somehow instantly knowing what the other has in mind for a meal, etc. and they can instantly read the other twin's mood with just a single quick glance.
