I'm fucked
My job city my hours down to 10 a week. I can't live in that. I'm barely holding out together. Of I can't pay bills how will I eat? What'll happen if my phone gets cut off? I'll be isolated and stuck at home. I won't bother able to get to school if I can't afford my bus pass. I'm not going to be OK.

The Swimming Matchmaker
So there’s this little boy who always comes swimming at the pool I work at, and he is bound and determined to get me and this one other lifeguard to date. A few weeks ago he said, “Kaye, you should ask Coach Davis on a date.” citing that we both like pets and we both have younger siblings so clearly we were the perfect couple.  So we play into his game, and I asked Coach Davis on a date, and the little boy helped us plan out our date. Where we’d go to dinner, what movie we’d see, etc.
The next week he comes and asks if we had gone on our date yet. We said we forgot, so he edited a few things and told us not to forget.
This week, he came to the pool, and asked if we had gone on our date. We said we had, because coincidentally we had gone to the movies with the other lifeguards just days earlier.
The kid was incredibly happy. So he asked how it was, what the movie was about, etc. A few minutes go by and he’s happily swimming, jumping off the diving board, floating, whatever. Then he swims up to the chair, “So when are you and Coach Davis going to get married?”
We went from a single date to marriage! So Coach Davis told him we were going to wait until next Summer. The kid wasn’t okay with just that as an answer, so we planned our wedding.
Which is the primary reason I’m writing this post.
I would like to let all of you know, I will be having a pool party wedding next Summer. We will say our vows standing on separate diving boards and then instead of kissing we will be high-fiving while “taking the plunge” (The little boy’s moms input). The whole town will be invited as it is planned to take place at the town pool party. And Pastor Mark (a pool  goer who over heard this wedding planning) will be marrying us.
Now let’s hope this child forgets all of this by next Summer or else we’re all in trouble.

The save thing happened to me. And they were not particularly polite about it.
Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Hollywood
Today I visited with friends, and was very sad to be turned away to both Harry Potter themed rides. I’m a big guy all around (6′2″), and I just wanted to let every Potter Fan out there know that if you’re on the larger side, height or weight, Wizarding World’s rides do not cater to you.   A photo of me & my friend today in front of Moe’s at universal:

I foolishly bought an annual pass expecting to be able to revisit Wizarding World multiple times this year. But alas, I kinda got screwed in that dept. :\ There are plenty of other attractions to visit, and definitely the rest of Hogsmead is alluring, but being told you cannot be apart of some of the rides is very upsetting & embarrassing. (This is actually the first time I’ve been told I couldn’t participate on a ride in SoCal.)
TLDR: if you’re BIG & TALL don’t go to Wizarding World unless you’re ok with not riding the rides and paying the raised ticket price. Save your wallet & your feelings.

SHAWN WASABI HAS HAD HIS MIDI FIGHTER + MACBOOK STOLEN IN SAN FRANCISCO
Shawn Wasabi, someone I am very privileged to call my friend, has been tweeting tonight that his car got broken into and his one-of-a-kind Midi Fighter 64 was stolen from it, along with his macbook and backup harddrive. The Midi Fighter is this cool launchpad he plays.

The police are refusing to do anything about it, because his eyes were red (from crying) and they decided he and his friends had been smoking. They won’t even let him file a report.

Please, please keep your eyes peeled for his Midi Fighter. It is the only one of its kind in the world. That Midi is his entire musical life and he’s devastated that it got stolen. If you know or see ANYTHING, PLEASE contact the San Francisco police.

I’m so angry. He is a wonderful person and did not deserve this.
