Hello! I'm curious about something, if it isn't too much of a spoiler to answer. When the LDB gets out of Upperhill Keep, would it be more of an independent break out situation, or might Cillian help in some way? Or maybe it'd depend on how different interactions go? I wonder if Thalmor would get sent to recapture/kill the LDB, and how Cillian could get involved there. Maybe he'd even seek them out on his own initiative. I really like the idea of your mod, so whatever you'd like to share! :)

Hi there! Thank you, glad you like it! It is kind of spoilery to be honest, so I will answer it under the cut, but I advise anyone who wants a fresh experience of the mod to not read it <3

So, in order to escape Upperhill Keep the LDB is forced to work with Cillian (by circumstances I'm not going to reveal), it's not a choice. However, depended on choices and interactions during the escape, Cillian may remain an enemy of the LDB and try to recapture them (and yes, the player can also seek Cillian out to kill him themselves at some point), or the LDB might gain an ally in the Thalmor. I'm not going to say much more, but let's just say that both outcomes affect the main Thalmor quest.

Are they any update on Cillian?

Hi! Sorry for the late answer. There's currently a problem with the voice acting as the person I was working with cannot continue with the project, so I am trying to find a new one. But the mod is still being worked on and I will post updates as soon as I have something new! Thank you for your patience and sorry for the long wait!

The main idea behind the creation of this mod was to add a very immersive romance option with the main political antagonist in the game. However, even if the romance course is not chosen, the mod is still playable since it enhances the Thalmor content and gives the Dragonborn a more, let's say, personal reason to want to take their faction down. We're curious, though, would you choose the romance course or not?

CILLIAN | A Thalmor Follower Mod

You know what's missing from Skyrim? An enemies-to-lovers storyline with the main antagonist, the Thalmor. The Cillian mod gives you not only that, but it also enhances the existing Thalmor content in the vanilla game.

The story of the mod starts after the vanilla quest "Missing In Action", where the player rescues a rebel from a Thalmor Keep. In the game, the player faces no consequences afterwards. This is no longer the case with this mod, where soon after, the player gets imprisoned in Upperhill Keep, a new Thalmor prison up in the mountains, to pay for their actions. During their captivity, Cillian, a high elf in the employment of the Thalmor, is their keeper/torturer. Depending on the player's actions, Cillian can become a follower/friend and even potentially a romantic partner, or a nemesis.  

Don't worry, you can fix him (or make him worse) before the romance starts. Not only that, but you have absolute agency over whether you go the hardcore enemies mode or you become friends sooner (or, you know, kill him 👀)

Who is Cillian?

Cillian is one of the former royals of Summerset Isle (now Alinor) turned to the Thalmor hegemony. Like the rest of his kind, he grew up to be an enemy to humankind. He believes in the supremacy of his race. But Cillian himself isn't as pure and unerring as he claims to be. Will his dark and shameful past be the catalyst in him changing sides or will it simply make him a more formidable enemy?

Cillian's character is highly inspired by Solas from the Dragon Age Inquisition game.
