Happy pride month to my dad. When I came out as bi to him, this man googled what it ment, look at me and said "ohh. Yeah. You get that from me. You'd have far more siblings of I only shaged women." And went right back to his work emails.

im asexual. im aromantic. im AROACE. i dont want romance or sex in the sense that i feel romantic or sexual feelings, but because its physical affection and i love people too much and crave connection. i keep things PLATONIC because that's all that i FEEL AND WILL EVER FEEL. there is no romance or sexual energy, just something platonic and mutual. i dont want kids, dont want marriage, maybe i dont even want companionship. i just want to love those who make me happy and bring me good brain chemistry. my feelings are mine alone. no gets to erase that.

"Oh but what about in the future?" no kids, no spouse, just me and my found family. "you'll change your mind down the road!" no, no i wont. "you have such good birthing hips!" (a real thing I have been told, wish I were kidding) and these hips are for holding when i CHOOSE to be held, not giving BIRTH.
