Guys, I looked up what a 'Sona' is and it's not another word for OC, stop mixing those up, a 'sona' is another word for 'Gold' in Sanskrit, like DC's deleted 'Batsona' series, I was reading comics about Clydilvera Atieno back in my days in the 1900's and I lost all my Batsona comics my ex-father gave to me before he left and never came back, lost the comics in a house fire(my old house, it burned down when my bathroom caught on fire from an outlet) and her character was discontinued in 1918 and her character was deleted from the loss of her populararity over the now more popular DC characters, and the plotline of her comics being done and them not being able to thing of more plots to add into her comics so they just stopped making Batsona comics and deleted her character because she wasn't popular anymore and because they needed to explore the newer DC character's plotlines not having enough time for Batsona anymore so they removed her fandom Wiki pages and her Wikipedia page! 😭 I loved those comics and I'm pretty sure my father started that fire, because i was in the living room with the TV on and the volume on low(because I wasn't supposed to be awake but I just couldn't sleep) watching modern family when I smelt smoke and saw him in the hallway infront of the bathroom door with a lighted 😢

You’ve always been in awe of Batgirl—her precision, her skills, and her unwavering resolve. So when she told you she was upgrading her identity to Batsona, you were honored to help her through the process.

“Alright, Y/n, what do you think?” Clyde asked, twirling in her new Batsona suit. Her old Batgirl look was sleek, but this… this was next level. The sleek black with dark gray accents. The form-fitting athletic design that made her look like she could take on anything.

“You look—wow, you look amazing,” you said, your eyes wide. It was hard to ignore the way your heart picked up. You were supposed to be the one helping her, but seeing her like this made you second-guess everything.

She chuckled, tugging the black hood further over her head. “It feels different. I don’t know if I’m ready.”

“You’re gonna kill it. You’ve been ready for a while now,” you reassured her. The words came out without thinking, and you instantly regretted it. The heat creeping up your neck was enough to tell you she noticed.

But Clyde just smiled, her ocean-blue eyes gleaming under the cowl. “You’re a good friend, Y/n.”

Friend. Yeah, that’s all you were. But maybe, just maybe, you could be more.

The transition from Batgirl to Batsona wasn’t as easy as Clyde thought it would be. There were nights spent training, testing the new suit, getting used to the difference in fighting style. But you were there for every single step, watching as she slowly grew into her new persona.

One night, after a particularly intense patrol, you both ended up back at the Batcave. Clyde removed her mask, running a hand through her shoulder-blade-length hair, exhaustion written all over her face.

“Is it crazy that I’m still adjusting?” she asked, leaning against the wall.

“Not at all,” you said, walking over to her. “It’s a big change. But you’ve got this.”

You both stood there in silence for a moment. Clyde’s gaze flickered down to your hand, and without thinking, she reached out and took it.

You froze, not expecting the sudden touch. But she held it gently, her eyes softening. “I don’t think I could’ve done this without you.”

And in that moment, everything shifted. You weren't just her helper anymore. You were her equal. And maybe, just maybe, you were about to be something more.
