An ongoing project I’m involved in creating with a fellow writer of mine on fanfiction.net. He goes by the name pickaxe881978, and is a very talented writer. He reached out to me a good while back and graciously allowed me to collaberate with him on this story. I’m confident in the story we have constructed, and we greatly appreciate anyone who gives it a read. I meant to share it on Tumblr forever ago, but better late than never lol. There are seventeen chapters as of right now, and it’s getting close to the end!

The story depicts Sam and Freddie as a married couple with several kids. Unfortunately, a severe accident leaves Freddie in bad shape, and we follow him, Sam, and their family in the aftermath of the horrific event.

Hey again! Updating the page again with the next piece in The Funny Business Timeline. This is seventh installment of this project, and this time we get a look into Sam’s “combative” relationship with Freddie’s mother. I again thank anyone who reads, I so much appreciate it.

I research the smallest, itty, bity, little details when writing fanfic just so I can know I did my due dillegence in regards to the stories I craft. Details that more than likely will go unnoticed by most in the long run, but I do it anyway because I care that much about what I write.

Hi everyone, it’s been a minute since I’ve posted any updates on my Funny Business project here on this blog, so allow me to do so now. This next sequential piece in the project is titled, Life’s Cruelest Form of Torture. It’s a cute little story detailing Freddie’s “excruciating” reality that he has to work on his birthday, rather than spend it with his girlfriend, Sam.

If you’re new to the project, The Funny Business Timeline is a multiple story endeavor of mine that follows the young-adult relationship of Sam and Freddie.

Captivating, that's the best word I can use to describe this story. Once I had started reading it I could not stop, it was that freaking good. It is a fascinating follow up to the iCarly series with a unique story structure, and a welcomed perspective on Sam that any fan of her character will love. Without spoiling, the story follows Sam as she begins a new adventure as college student that is determined to succeed and prove the people that always said she would never amount to anything wrong. As a note, the events of Sam & Cat never occured in this story, and Sam never left Seattle. I was incredibly late to the party on this fanfic, but if you someone who has never read it, I cannot recommend it enough.

Always go with what makes a good story. If it's predictable, who cares. Predictable does not equal bad. If it's not "shocking", who cares. Shock value does not substitute for storytelling. Do not throw twists into the plot unless it serves a purpose. Tell the story that should be told. Always. Trust me.

Hi, I’m back with the fifth installment of the Funny Business timeline! This time around we’re just checking on our favorite couple, Sam and Freddie, as they move into their new place together. As I mention in my comments before the story, the next large installment of the project is in the works, but I intend to explore a few smaller detours on the way there, in same vain as Handing Out L’s and Fishing for Compliments. Hello! We have another installment in the Funny Business timeline, and this is biggest one yet! This one was holiday themed, and I’m posting it here on this blog a little late, but regardless of the theme, you’ll find it enjoyable if you like your Sam and Freddie fics. There is also just a ton of references, allusions, and callbacks to the series present in this installment, so have fun finding the easter eggs! You’ll see in my ‘general’ comments before the story that I mentioned this has become a full on project that intend to see through to a conclusion. It has been incredibly fulfilling for me to write this, and I hope to share that with anyone who reads. Thank you!
