oh man the deltarune brainrot has hit u huh/silly honestly I wanna try out deltarune but I am #broke heard the first 2 chapters are free though (also what is your honest opinion on people calling the roaring knight a fraud)
Yes, I can't help but going back to my roots (Toby Fox the king you are)
PLAY IT! It’s so worth it! The two first chapters are free, after that the chapters 3 and 4 cost around 25$ I think? But it’s only because you're buying the whole game and won't have to pay more. But, you can also watch playthroughs if you're really in a tough spot with money right now.
The roaring knight is...still lacking for now. Not enough informations. But the memes are scrumptious and each time I imagine Noelle's mom or Dess as it, it makes me chuckle. I love it.
I'm currently on my normal cycle of hyperfixation. (Watch me go crazy for Great God Grove once again in a month)

the insane experience of missing a fictional character . like you can always go back and reread the book , replay the game , rewatch the show or movie , you can always go back & see them , but you can never experience them & their story for the first time again . its absurd to miss them because they'll always be there , but you'll miss when there were still new things for them to say .
for a small time they were real & growing and changing and you hung onto every new word, but now all they can do is repeat the same story forever&ever & they're not real anymore because you know everything they're going to do. & you miss them. its fucked man...

I'd love to go to the Darkworld! I say, knowing perfectly it wouldn't be possible because I'm way too scared of the dark.

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR DELTARUNE:CHAPTER 3 DO NAWT READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED IT YET.
I'm gonna need to lock tf in and NOT make 12322 fics about the potential of the toxic (STRICTLY PLATONIC YOU SICKOS) relationship there is between Kris and Tenna. My buddiespals are not doing well at all. I can make out some hints of parental-figure-like shaped form when it comes to Tenna. A bit like a weird uncle? Or the friend of your parents that used to visit and show you cool things? Very clearly, the TV was a way for Kris and Asriel to drone out the fights going on in the back. After a while it became a REMINDER of those fights, those moments.
But what about the Dark World? Because it DOES exist further the kid's imagination, despite what Ralsei tries to make us believe. Because, yes folks, do not forget that what Ralsei says cannot be trusted 100%. He KNOWS the Player is in control and his intentions aren't very clear. The Darkners have lives outside of this, for example the whole Spamton and Tenna thing. Now there are questions that remain. What gives a Darkner's life? The importance you give it or whether or not you played with it? Questions questions...
Anyways, the Dark World is also funny to imagine. As we know, Queen mostly played alongside Noelle, King alongside Kris and Tenna was in the back. Now once again this represents the relationships Kris lost sight of as they grew up. Their parent's divorce, the loss of friendship with Noelle, Asriel freaking LEAVING. Reminds you of anyone? Queen ans King seemed to have something going on at one point, but clearly that's not the case anymore, Tenna...well, he reminds me of Kris. He suffered through the divorce and spent his time alone.
Now, let's take a look at the canon interactions we have with Kris and Tenna (mostly Tenna). The guy seems nervous, almost displeased with Kris, it’s obvious since even Susie asks something along the lines of "You don’t like Kris or something?" Which is a bit weird to me. Sometimes he's even downright hostile. A sharp jab in the first part of the chapter for example "Couples fight all the time, tell them Kris!", now if it was a poor timed joke or a genuine mean comment I'm not sure, and when he snaps one sentence that stuck out the most to me was "I taught you how to cry! It’s not my fault you forgot how!" That's...a weird thing to say during a fight? Probably because Kris was more expressive as a child, so he's frustrated now.
What's also weird is also how close he is to Susie and Ralsei, especially Susie. Wouldn't he want to get closer to Kris instead? I mean, he saw them grow up. Played with them, took care of them during the fights (it seems) why the distance/beef with the 15 years old?
Simple, I have two explainations for now. One, Kris abandoned him too, so he's salty about it + the "after everything I've done for you?!" mentality that I could see him having after all this. The second one would be that just like Tenna could remind Kris of these moments in front of the TV while their parents fought, Kris could remind Tenna of everything he's lost. The family that split apart. His missing viewers. But he also seems to do care for them and want their approval in a way? That's good...I think. Like, he wants their reactions.
And also, let's not forget that since we're controlling Kris, their reactions are lacking. It could've been much messier if they were themselves.
I also saw someone talk about how Tenna is kind of helicopter/overprotective and YES??? YES. I'm with them 100%!
Anyways I'm kindly encouraging people to make parental-figure Tenna content, because I'm dying over here. I NEED the people that would do the "Starlo/Sans/Papyrus parents Clover/Frisk" fics in Undertale (Yellow) to get their ASSES BACK HERE AND DO THEIR MAGIC/j.
PEACE OUT!

Holds out my hands demurely…
A bitty AU crumb for me? Pretty please? /nf
Of course! Sorry I've been off, school is killing me. (I'm not sure if you were asking for a fic or monstertalk, have this Q and A for now and I'm gonna cook a small oneshot.)
First of all, for those who are unfamiliar with the concept:
Bitty is a fandom concept, I've first seen it in the undertale fandom under the name of "Bittybones" but remain unaware if it truly comes from there. Anyhow, it became popular and is an AU where the characters of your beloved game/serie/comic/movie will be turned into a small being that can be adopted and taken care of.
There are things that depend on the author. Like- if all the characters of the game are bitties, how the bitties work, are they pets? All that.
Now, I'm not the owner of this AU because well...that's not my idea lol, same thing with Self-Aware AU. I can oversee it and I'm confident in my knowledge about it because of all the medias I've consumed about it.
Now, how it will function?
How are the bitties created?
In a lab. The company make them. They've been around for a long while but became recently popular. What the company usually do is that they study what's popular at the time (or could be popular again) and they base off the bitties on that.
What do bitties need to live?
They need mainly three things. Water. Food. Love. Love acts like their main batterie, without it they slowly but surely die. A way that the company found so that they tie themselves to their owners more easily.
Are bitties pets?
While advertised/classified as such, it’s more like having a best friend and roomate. Someone who will always be by your side no matter what. That's mainly because most people (me included) would feel icky about owning basically a small person as a "pet".
Are there wild bitties?
Yes, of course. Humanity is unluckily not perfect. Which means there will be bitties that simply...escape from their owners. Or are lost. Few survive, due to predators, lack of nutrition or love. The few that do survive? Their body changes. They have claws, more useful abilities etc... the most notable changes come from the GOD formats. But those are extremely rare. They’re usually in packs, that's where they get enough love from. They also have their own names.
Can you befriend/adopt a wild bitty?
Of course! Though that can be a bit tricky. If the bitty comes from a place of abuse, gaining their trust can take a while. Also, since most wild bitties come in groups, you take one you take the whole gang. So, be prepared!
Wouldn't they become invasive?
Good question. That would be the case if they could reproduce. Which they can't. They don't have the stuff for it.
How am I sure the bitty is gonna have the same personality traits as my favourite character???
Bitties, even as babies, have pre-downloaded personalities. You CAN and WILL influence how they grow, yes! But it will never stray TOO far from who they truly are. That's why there's such a big cast.
But- how long do bitties live???
It depends. They live very long. Normal bitties go from 50 to 100 maximum in VERY VERY rare cases. GOD format??? Ooof- 120? 200? This bitty will become your family's heirloom, so think long and hard about getting a GOD format.
What's the difference with normal bitties and GOD format?
Before the transformation? Nothing. Your hector is like any Capochin. After? Many things. The size, the amount of love needed(less), the special abilities.
Let's compare!
Normal bitty: Fits in the palm of your hand most of the time.
GOD format bitty: Size of a doll (changes) (wild ones are even bigger!)
Special abilities are unique to your GOD format bitty. Huzzle Muggles and Inspektas won't be able to do the same things for example.
WHy aRE HuZzLE MUggles the BEST biTTiEs?!!????!!!!
Ah. I see someone let their bitty get too close to their phone. Still, it’s a shining example of how mischievous bitties can get! Some people have reported having full blown arguments with someone, only to discover they were a Click Click all along! So be on your guards users!
AAANNND that's all the questions for now! But, do not hesitate to send asks. And if you rrrreeeeeallly like the bitty AU, I made a discord server about it! If you're an owner searching a place to vent about your bitty's shenanigans, I've got what you need! I'll post it just after this!

I don't need writing advice on this, I have myself 😎 (help)/hj
When a Character Is Lonely but Doesn’t Know How to Say It
It’s not always visible. Sometimes they’re surrounded by people and still feel like they’re drowning in the silence between sentences.
⊹ They linger a little longer after conversations. Just in case someone notices.
⊹ They always ask “how are you?” but dodge it when it’s asked back.
⊹ They invite people to things... but laugh it off if no one shows. “I didn’t really care anyway.”
⊹ They scroll through old texts and consider replying. Don’t.
⊹ They talk to themselves. Out loud. Just to hear something.
⊹ Their smile is quick, but their eyes are slow. Tired. Watching.
⊹ They keep themselves busy. Loneliness echoes louder in stillness.
⊹ They volunteer. They help. They overgive, because maybe someone will need them enough to stay.
⊹ They laugh at inside jokes they weren’t there for.
⊹ They crave being chosen. They’ll never say that. But oh, how they ache for it.

Chapter 2 is more chill. It’s before everything went to hell basically.

chapter 1
The Weirdo and the Monster.
Chapter 2: Change of plan
Aviva was thrown back in their shared house, she stumbled before quickly getting back on her feet and tried to turn on her heels to face Angus, but he had already left to get back to his occupations, she cursed under her breath. Aviva tried to turn the handle of the door, to go after him, to shout at her stupid brother! He'd locked it. At that she felt anger pulsing through her veins so she ran back to her room and pushed the window open. Those small things reminded her of how lucky she was that Angus wasn't more careful, otherwise he would've blocked it.
As much as she was tempted to go back to the forest, her brother seemed to be in a foul enough mood, and frankly so was she, she didn't have the energy to face him. She could always go there another day. It only left her with one destination. The village. While she knew the place and its people by heart, anything was better than being locked up. She jumped out and headed towards the small town.
The streets were busy, with the same people as usual, chattering, walking and laughing. She could hear the cries of a baby not so far away, must've been Miss August's newborn. The bakery was next street, she started searching through her pockets and found three golden coins. That would be enough for some bread and maybe a pastry in exchange for tutoring Mr Durand's children. The man was convinced that what the village needed were educated and strong minded people, as such he wanted his kids to be like that. She liked Mr Durand. The baker listened to her ramblings, and even sometimes commented on them, he also didn't mind her animal studying “hobbie”. Maybe after getting the bread she could go bother LeBerger? The woman was old, very old, and always around her sheeps. But her stories were so interesting. Apparently she came from the mountains. How cool was that? She'd traveled around before settling in the village, she had trouble understanding why here of all places, but she was grateful for her presence. Though not all there in the head, she was interesting.
With finally a plan in mind, she started heading towards the bakery. As she started walking she was almost instantly approached by someone. Someone she knew very well. The nervous smile, crooked glasses that needed to be replaced and small frame made the man easy to recognize. Jules was easily Angus's biggest fan and closest friend. He was also the one to usually fan the flames of his fury. The two of them were almost always together, never seen without one another. Sometimes, she was a bit jealous of the bond the man shared with her brother.
It wasn't like Jules was mean. He had to be the softest thing in the whole village. Not very tall nor strong, he worked at the library. He was the same age as Angus, the two of them being childhood friends, which made his single state surprising. They were the only two bachelors left of their age in town. Angus's situation was explainable, he was too focused on hunting to pay attention to the pretty eyes fixated on him, which didn't stop him once drunk to have a lady on each arm at the bar. For Jules it was more complicated. Yes, he wasn't the typical image of masculinity but he was kind, well read and knew how to keep his cool no matter the situation. A few of her books described him as a perfect lover. What confused her even more was that Aviva herself wasn't attracted to him, he should've been the perfect husband for her. Giving her access to all the books she could desire, he was no stranger and close to her brother so she would keep seeing him. She sighed.
Realizing she'd once again zoned out, and Jules was talking to her, she stumbled on her words, “Ah-uh- Sorry- Bonjour. Uhm…could you repeat what you said?”
Jules only smiled and repeated, “I asked you, if your brother told you about his expedition?”
Aviva furrowed her eyebrows, what was he talking about? “Expedition? No, he didn't tell me anything.”
That seemed to actually irritate Jules as he sighed and started to rub his face, still careful of his glasses, while mumbling, “Ah non mais je vais le tuer, combien de fois vais-je devoir lui parler à propos de ça?” He sighed and looked back at her, forcing a smile back on his face. “I'm sorry. It's just that Angus is gonna leave for a day or two.”
“What? Where?”
“The mayor asked him to go check on the lords of this land, our village is the closest to their castle. The reason why is that while we still receive orders from time to time, they haven't been seen for years. It’s starting to get worrying. Your brother was chosen to go see if everything is okay.”
Aviva stayed silent for a moment before clenching her teeth. He wasn't planning to tell her, was he? He just thought he could leave her without telling her anything?
Jules, noticing her frustration, tried to calm her down, “I'm sure Angus didn't mean anything by it, you know him, he's not good with words.”
She looked away, huffing. Still, there was no use in being angry at Jules. The poor guy had done nothing to her except tell her the truth, “...thank you for the information. I’m gonna go, if you're searching for my brother he’s out hunting.”
“Aviva, I-...I didn't mean to make you upset. And I didn't come to see you for your brother. I actually came to give you this new book you wanted so much,” he reached into his leather bag, pulling out a thick book.
Aviva almost immediately recognized its cover. “Ooooh- NO! It came out!?” She almost ripped out of Jules's hands the sequel of ‘The Spellbinder’. It was her first novel ever and she'd loved it, reading it a thousand times. The story was what made her want to travel around the world.
She looked down at it before setting her eyes back on Jules's face. “It…must've been hard to get. You didn't have to do this, you know?”
“I wanted to. I knew you'd like it. You always got so excited about this story when we were kids. I knew it would cheer you up. And, even if I'm close with your brothers, I'm still your friend, I want you to be happy Aviva. Both of you.”
It was in moments like these that words made her feel all warm and safe. Wanting someone else to be happy…that had to count as love, right? In all of her books, the main characters always were happy simply by being together, there were no mentions of wanting the other to be happy because it happened anyway. She stared at Jules. He was also different from Mr Durand, LeBerger, or any of the other town folks. They'd grown up together, when father was still alive Jules would stare at the older man's work with wonder in his eyes, he was basically family. But Jules was Angus's best friend, not hers. They were friends, sure, but he was Angus's special person, she wanted her own. But the young men weren't that interesting, and the girls were too busy salivating over her brother. Most of the time they approached her to get closer to Angus. Angus. Angus. ANGUS! Everything in her life was about him, and when she thought about it she wanted to rip out her hair!
Aviva focused on the book in her arms. This was good, her interest, her thing, hers.
Jules cleared his throat, “While I want you to be happy, I'll also need you to give me back the encyclopedia you borrowed…” he got out a booklet and searched in it, “Ah. Three months ago. Please.”
“Ah, yes, sure. I'll bring it to you later on today. Promise,” she flushed, embarrassed at her own lateness. She didn't mean to take so long! It’s just that each time she thought about it, something else came up, making her forget about bringing it back.
Jules shook his head, but was amused enough to simply say goodbye, letting her get back to her walk.
Getting to the bakery wasn't a long walk. What took time was juggling between the greetings, the children running around and the questions about how her brother was doing. This was one of the many reasons on her list to prefer the forest.
After an eternity of forced smiles and awkward talks, she FINALLY got to Mr Durand's bakery. The display of baked goods and different types of breads made Aviva salivate. The smell was heavenly, and the slightly warm air coming from the back told her all she had to know about the freshness of the products.
While she was staring in amazement at the food, the baker himself caught her off guard with his greeting, “Well, well, well! If it isn’t our little fox in person! Has hunger finally gotten you out of your forest?”
“Hi, Mr Durand! I was just looking at what you'd made today, and I think a loaf of bread with a chocolate éclair will do just fine!”
“Oh? That's all for today? Well, that will be 6 golden coins,” he shrugged while putting the food in bags.
“I have 3 coins…BUT! I could do another lessin for free!” God, she hoped this would suffice at convincing the baker.
“Hmmm,” Mr Durand stared into her eyes while Aviva tried to make herself as small and cute as possible. He sighed, “Fine. But I want to see you tomorrow at 8 A.M. No delay,” he handed her the bag.
Aviva snatched it without any hesitation, already running towards LeBerger's house, “Of course! I'll be here! Thank you so much!”
The last thing she saw on Mr Durand's face was exasperation mixed with amusement. Her mind was elsewhere already, thinking what story the old woman would tell her today.
LeBerger's house looked as old as the woman did. She lived on the edge of the village, isolated from everyone and everything. Not exactly a bad placement considering the number of sheeps she possessed. Angus didn't like her. While most of the town folks found her simply weird, but kind enough, Angus really didn't like her. He always said something fishy was going on with her, she knew too much without knowing anything, he'd say. Nothing made sense about her. Aviva simply passed it off as her brother being mad that for once, someone preferred her over her brother. Because yes, LeBerger didn't seem to have much patience for Angus, if any. She still giggled when she remembered how the old woman had bonked him in the head with her stick when he had accidentally hurt one of her sheeps.
As Aviva approached, she saw LeBerger sitting outside, a flock of white sheeps around her. Pushing carefully through the wooly mamals she finally got to her elder, “Madame! Madame!”
The old woman slowly tilted her head in her direction. Her face was all wrinkly and pale in the strangest way, “Oh. My dear, Aviva, it is you. Here for another story I presume?”
“Yes! If you have one in stock. I…I really need something to get my mind off of reality right now,” she sat down next to the other woman, on the grass. She kept her bag close to her, in case one of the sheeps tried to eat her bread, or worse, her book.
LeBerger tilted her head in confusion, her slow way of speaking never changing, “Oh, really? What has happened for you to have such a need.”
“...Well, my brother is going to be leaving to go to the castle of the lord of our region. This will take at least a day and…And he didn't even think to tell me! Does he even care?” Aviva huffed, just thinking about it irritated her.
“Oh, really? The lord of this region…hmm. It has been years since I last saw them.”
Aviva turned her head in shock, “You've been there?!”
“Why yes, but years ago. Hmm. Could you do me a favorable?”
“Uhm, yes, of course.”
The old woman reached into her clothes, and pulled out the most beautiful rose Aviva had ever seen. LeBerger proceeded to put it between her hands, making sure she held the flower tight, “Give this rose to the princess of the castle. This is a gift I was supposed to give to her but couldn't. Maybe your brother could deliver it?”
The princess? Oh, right. The princess. The lord had a daughter. Aviva focused her attention back on the flower. Angus would never deliver it, especially if he knew it came from the old shepherd. He'd throw it away.
LeBerger continued, “As for a story, I am sorry my dear, but I don't have any more to give you.”
Aviva looked up suddenly, “Wait what?! But- I…there must be one more!”
“No, I am afraid not. You are not the same little girl anymore. You've grown to be a young adult. I think it is time for you to write your own story.”
Aviva was panicking, LeBerger's stories were one of the only things that got her mind off of her brother. That and the new books that came once every blue moon, “My own story? But there's nothing to tell! I mean- I live in a small village where everything is about my brother! He's older, the one with hunting skills and popular!”
“Not every story starts with a grand hero and…not every story has to be solved with violence. Now, go. I am getting tired. And make sure to tell Angus to deliver this flower,” it seemed like LeBerger's mood was spoiled by her own fatigue. The old woman's attitude changed like the weather.
Aviva got up before getting away from the flock of sheeps. With nothing else to do, she got back to her house and ate the baked good she'd bought. Not the bread though, leaving it for later. She put her bag with her new book and bread under her bed, the flower joining them. Deciding a nap wouldn't be so bad, especially after today's events she laid in her bed.
This day was horrible, firsr her encounter with her brother, then the news from Jules, LeBerger didn't have any stories to tell AND shooed her away. This sucked. Soon, despite her poor mood, sleep overtook her.
She woke up in the middle of the night, hearing a door opening and closing. She immediately went to her window. Angus! He was leaving towards the forest, just like Jules said.
Aviva looked at her bed, then the window.
Every story has to start somewhere, right?
She snatched her bag, opened silently the window and followed her brother. His trail was easy to dicern. She'd been caught last time because she didn't where he was. This time, she would be as discreet as a mouse.

chapter 2
The Weirdo and the Monster.
Chapter 1: A fairytale's setting.
Once upon a time, in a far away land, lived a young girl named Aviva. She lived alone with her older brother in a small village. The absence of their parents could be linked back to two terrible accidents. Their mother had died giving birth to her, making her arrival into the world quite the sad event. Still, her father was a good and smart man. An inventor, who, seeing his son’s disinterest in studies, decided to pass on his passion for discovery to his daughter. The flame had been ignited, Aviva was as curious, if not more than her father. She devoured the books he'd bring her and spent most of her time searching for bugs and other living things. What she preferred though, were mythical creatures, monsters, sirens, witches. Though they were described as children's tails, she always thought a part of truth was hidden behind those stories. However, happiness couldn't last forever. On one of his trips to the science fair, bandits attacked his caleche and killed the poor man. His body was found days later and the news were delivered to the siblings. After this, things changed.
Angus, her brother, was the one running the ship now. As a hunter, with the best shot in the whole region, he was quite the popular man amongst the town folks, even though his attitude was terrible. He was loud, proud, quick to anger, a player and somewhat of an idiot due to his tendency to rush in without thinking. The man had difficulties understanding his sister, like the majority of the town. In fact, he would publicly show his dislike of her and her interests. For, while Angus wanted nothing more than to be left alone to attend to his hunting and drinking occupations, his sister always seemed to get herself in trouble.
Aviva wasn't ugly, per say. She was even quite pretty, with her red hair and grey eyes. But the baker insisted the mud on her face from her latest adventure hid that fact, the barber suggested the messy hair and twigs were more at fault and the fisherman's wife was sure her direct nature was the cause of such ruined beauty. Angus had settled on the fact that it was simply her being her that was ugly. Taking this into account, Aviva was quite alone in this world. Her sole family was her brother who terrorized her study subjects. She was convinced that he took pleasure in hunting that much for the sole purpose of seeing her horrified face once he would bring back, dead, the fox she was trying to look at the week before. Aviva had trouble understanding why her brother hated her.
She turned to books once again, specifically ones that had sisters and brothers involved. She was left even more confused than before. Every story, line and documentary talked about love. Love. What was love? She asked around, the responses all different, she then decided that love must’ve been what her father felt for her. And what she felt for her father and brother. But she wasn't sure if her brother loved her in any way. No matter, Aviva didn't need him to return it. She was already grateful enough he hadn't thrown her away just yet. While she tried to be independent, she knew she wouldn't survive very long on the streets. Still, even the promise of Angus's wrath couldn't stop her from going into the forest.
Running through the woods, she held the hood close against her head and did her best at hiding any piece of hair that could peek out. Red was a beautiful colour, yes, just not the easiest to hide. The cloth she had put around her shoes did a pretty good job at canceling out the noises her steps were supposed to make. Such discretion was necessary for two reasons. The first one was the usual, if she wanted to see any animal her presence needed to be unremarkable. The second one was much more dangerous, her brother was out hunting, if Angus caught her, he would throw her out of the woods without the shadow of a doubt, and she couldn't have that now, could she?
Aviva, if asked, would've sworn up and down that she was doing this for academic purposes only, her wild grin as she jumped over a tree trunk told another story. Maybe the risk of her brother catching her was giving her this rush? Or the thought of beating him in this unknown race in his supposed “territory” was what made her want to giggle? Nevertheless she felt giddy. The feeling of adventure, of freedom, of breaking the rules! Because while everyone was well-aware of her little trips in the wilderness, the people of her town were far from pleased. They seemed convinced that evil was lurking in those woods, a belief she found ridiculous as for as long as she had visited them, which was pretty long, she'd never seen anything out of the ordinary.
She paused in her pace, her breath stuck in her throat as her eyes widened at the sight before her. Aviva quickly scrambled to hide behind a tree, observing the magnificent deer before her. Under the light, it almost looked like a divine beast. It seemed to be munching on something, though the bushes were hiding its head. Awe filling her heart she tried to get closer. The animal was in a clearing, a few meters away. The forest had seemingly gone quiet, the only sounds she could hear were the soft huffs the deer kept making. Aviva was completely fascinated, seeing such an animal this close was a difficult task. The scene in front of her seemed to come straight out of one of her books.
She was about to cross the last tree, when suddenly a hand grabbed her collar, forcefully and firmly, and tugged her back. The air was knocked out of her chest, leaving her unable to fight off the tight grip.
“Now, what the HELL are you doing here, runt?” Angus's face was shoved into her own, his scowl evident. He was looking at her up and down with fury in his eyes. He was mad. Very mad.
Aviva shook off her stupor and immediately grabbed his wrist trying to get him to let go of her cloak, to no avail. In fact, it only seemed to anger him even further, as he started to drag her with him. She looked back helplessly at the deer, the creature still eating and unbothered.
Her gaze was forced back on her brother as he shouted, “I can't even go hunting in peace with you! The forest is NOT for you to go into, so like always I have to drag you back to the house. Do you know what I could be doing, instead of baby-sitting you right now?” Angus brought her closer before screaming in her ear, “MY FUCKING JOB, A.K.A HUNTING!”
Aviva winced and rubbed her ear. Biting her lip in pain, she looked away. She managed to follow his path this time. Aviva grumbled under her breath, “I don't need you to get me back home.”
Angus heard her words and let out a sardonic laugh. “Oh, trust me little weirdo, if I had a choice I'd let you die in here! That way, ALL my problems would disappear! But, to my greatest disappointment, my honor as a man would be tainted if I did that! So, guess what?! We’re stuck together.”
Aviva huffed, her fist tightening. It was always the same thing with him. He always talked as if she was nothing more than a burden, or worse, a challenge to prove his manhood.
“You know that if I were to get married, I wouldn't have to see you ever again? And God knows I wouldn't! I'm a young adult you know? I still have the time to find love, but you? You're so despicable your bride wouldn't last a day!”
He stayed silent, never stopping in his steps, but the lack of reply gave her some sort of hope. Hope that her words had gone through to him, that they'd hurt him as much as he hurt her. That he would express hesitation, guilt maybe even sadness at the thought of her absence.
The mocking laughter bubbling out of his throat finished crushing those thoughts. “Hehe…hahahahaHAHAHA- Oh- Oooh- this is good! This is TOO good! You think that you,” he turned around to look at her before pointing at her, “could get a husband?! HAHAHA! The best joke I've ever heard. You're so weird, even old perverts wouldn't want you! Your pretty face is all you have, and even THAT you managed to ruin it! Plus, even if the guy was dumb enough to want to marry you for your body, I wouldn't let him. Don't wanna be responsible for the poor man going insane.”
That stung, but it was expected. Aviva looked back at the clearing one last time, trying to see if the deer was still there.
“What are you staring at?” Angus questioned, going back to a more serious mood.
Aviva froze. Was he serious? She couldn't tell. She hesitantly responded, “The…the deer? In the clearing?"
He huffed and looked back. After a while his eyes went back to the path in front of him. “Ain't nothing over there. Are you going insane? If you are, don't tell anyone in town, I don't need people thinking I might be as crazy as you.”
…what? No. This was just another mockery, right? He seemed serious. Maybe he hadn't looked hard enough. Yeah, this must’ve been it. Aviva blinked as she saw the familiarity of the town getting closer, the forest behind them.
If she had stayed long enough, if she had gotten close enough, if she had looked hard enough. She would've seen the bloody corpse the deer was munching on. The white fur of the dead wolf was completely soaked, its maw still open in a silent scream, or a bite that never succeeded, surely the last thing it tried to do. As the deer raised its head once again, some of the crimson liquid was still dripping from its mouth.

Yooo! So this is like...my original story? I told you guys! Fanfics are actually pretty rare from me. Great God Grove is the exception. Anyways...this is my retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The first chapter is out. Second is almost finished and I already know what I'm gonna do with the third.

Also, about the bitty AU it plays out like this:
Normal bitties: mortals in the game
GOD format bitties: the gods
GOD format bitties are special. While they go through baby stage, teenager, adult and then evolve into GOD formats.
They're bigger and have powers! They also live longer. Like- LONGER. Up to 200 years! IT CAN AND WILL BECOME YOUR FAMILY'S HEIRLOOM!
The evolution takes time, can be scary and they're vulnerable while doing it. There ARE ways to stop it, buuuut I'm on a break and too lazy to continue bye!

HEEEYYY people! I'm here to announce two things:
1. I may take a smaaaall break from the Self Aware AU (mostly because of the time it’s gonna take me to write the next parts lol) I'm doing this mainly so I can rest my brain from it and get genuine inspiration. Also so I can figure out how I want things to go after the end of the Prologue. (BECAUSE YES, we're only at the prologue.)
2. I have many other AUs in stock that I'm cooking up that I'm waiting to unleash upon the world. For now, I'm announcing that I will be doing another fandom classic, the Bitty AU. I'll do a whole fic + some oneshots. As always everyone is free to draw/write this AU as it barely belongs to me lol. I'll post more about it soon enough.
