mhm, online as in active or usable, some of the turrets are technically able to function just that they lack barrels to their guns for example.
I'm asking so specifically because i had a "Recovery Specialist" try to convince me a ship with most its barrels bent had functioning guns once since they could be accessed by the control software...

... Why not just... Paint a name on and give it a name that way....
Naming does not mean registering... Just... naming it.
Well anyways, i'd say get the guns in better shape before doing any experiments, you never know who comes looking for a missing experimental ship.
(OOC: well I just misremembered then! your ship, your image.)

So you don't give your Ships names before you send them on their Maiden flight?! What kind of lousy Naval Practice is this!
(OOC: the Railgun turret, didn't you say it was on top at the front of the Ship?)

I have seen the reports, before the ships leaves however basic defensive armarment should be brought online as well, meaning Point defence coverage and if possible reactivation of the bow-mounted Railgun turret.
We can't rely on the Resurgance for protection forever, the faster the ships own defensive measures can be reinstated the better.
Also, what is the vessel called? In comparison to Repiblican doctrine i haven't seen the Name Painted anywhere on it.

Yeah, i knew that, read up on Imperial AI development and deployment a few hours ago, that was slightly annoying to find out for other unrelated reasons.
But speaking of reasons that might as well be it. Although to confirm that we'd need to bring Molly out of the Magic supression field.

Maybe, i can't judge that, your AI works in a weird way.
It might also be that since your Advisor is connected to you that they get the access from you as well.

Probably nothing? Just because something knows magic does not mean it can control it or even sense it, for example Lana is the knowledgable about magic yet cannot use or even sense the magic flow. Amu is an outlier, thinking back that might have something to do with the Partially organic nature of the original frame.
I Would not bet anything on giving a factory magic actually working

I know what you're getting at and you're partially correct, resources will be easier to obtain but the issues aren't really the supplies themselves rather the Quality of them.
For example, my ship is, in some regards, build to a higher production standart then the empire can produce. An example for it are teh Heavy Accelerator Capacitors, the empire currently lacks the manufacturing methods to replicate them on this scale. There are smaller ones that are effective enough if scaled up but the capabilities to produce that quality on that size is not there. Another example, the engine in the Experimantal Cruiser is pretty Basic tech in my eyes but in the Empires it is the pinacle of Propulsion.
These are the main reasons why i want to keep my ship as unkown as possible. Damage to yours can be mostly repaired as it is build with resources and techniques available here, mine isn't. Things like armor, lights even gun barrels can be replaced with technology available if slower then i am used to but more sophisticated systems are either prohibitively hard to come by and if available on the market extremely expensive. Those categories are often Electricals or complex assemblies like engines.
I have a plan to solve that issue soon, but for now lets stick to direct goals.

That'll work.
Name and Rank will need to be picked as well.
Also, do you have access to any unmarked funds by any chance? One issue we currently have is that we have two VERY recognizable ships a generic one properly bought one would serve us well. On the Topic of ships, i will take one of the two dropships of the imperial ship, mine is completely lacking and shuttle type ships and you have two.
For the time being our disguise should be either a less then legal Mercenary company or outright Pirates. That would probably give us the most cover.

Then we'll take your Vessel.
I won't risk mine without assuarance, additionally i'd like to avoid detailed scans of it getting out there especially about its state as it is still not completely restored. Something i also learned in the recent skirmish...

Good.
But, blind drive for vengance will fail. You need to control it and go forward determined but not reckless. Planning, tactics, Logistis are all things in need of consideration.
A Surgical strike would also be possible, but that would leave the Empire like a chicken without its head and would probably lead to a civil war on multiple fronts as potential successors fight eachother for the throne. At the moment you are believed dead, this should stay status quo for the moment as it gives an advantage.
Plan your next moves wisely.
@goblin-wizard-in-the-making Please return us to the ship

Ah yes, good old Monarchical Feudalisim... Building trauma after Trauma because of petty Personal issues between nobles over liniages...
On the situation, very unfortunate indeed, your Brother was raised badly, but that doesn't excuse his actions.
And i have to say your Empire gets stranger and stranger the more i learn about it.
I have to ask you one thing now, what is your next cause of action?

*I am turned away from this looking into the white expanse*
AMU is right, from multiple angles. Firstly it is not healthy to do so, especially in this case Secondly, what if an outburst liek this happens again when you bottle it up? This time it stopped, what if it doesn't next time?
