The Corruption is similar to the Lonely in many ways and different in a few more. Wouldn't it make sense that, if the Lonely is drawn to you, the Corruption would be too? You feel things that a lot of our own do and some of us feel more friendly towards you because of it.

what do you think of the stranger? of its uncanny dancers, the people not made of flesh (were they ever human? or have they always been like that? even they do not know) and the bodies perfectly typical that house minds that have never been human, playing a perfect performance, dancing to a tune that they were not born knowing and had to learn by force?

do you dislike us? or perhaps it's enjoyable to see the way that disease makes the mask slip for those more typical of us, the way that the costume becomes ill-fitting. you can certainly make the facade slip. crawl beneath it, perhaps, make a home within an off-putting dancer so very Loved. use its mask like hundreds of tiny creatures hiding beneath a rock

I have no qualms with the Stranger. It does not impede upon my Mistress' work. I must admit, though, I have never considered the ways in which I Do Not Know You and the Crawling Rot could work as one. It is an interesting thought. Consider the fear one experiences at the sight of a loved one overcome by sickness. Seeing them become someone they no longer recognize, someone who is not the person they once new. Thank you for your ideas.

Diseases have no gender so yes they're all gay and a lot of bugs are gay. :}
