they really pulled the shiny rayquaza in episode 6 huh. like this series gets it they make this journey look so exciting and fun despite the adult supervision the kids now get

nothing to make me feel old tho than the main crew having their own app... like they have apps now in the pokemon world,,, I understand it it makes sense this won't even register to the youth watching this but I'm sitting here withering away from the knowledge I was watching this same series years before anyone even invented the word app,,, we used to have a clunky device with a horrible robot voice as a pokedex now it's just another app this is so sad (I say as if I don't play the games where the pokedex is also just an app on your phone)

on another note someone teach these kids their pokemon have four moveslots if I have to sit through one more battle of nothing but leafage and ember I am shaking every adult character in the vicinity like a maraca like what are you people doing please. scratch and tackle can't be that hard to use.

finally started watching pokemon horizons years later

gotta respect them for making a new protag who is the opposite of ash in every conceivable way. so far I like liko but I can totally see how some people would find her equally as annoying as ash if in a completely different way, at least at the start

love the messaging so far of "don't trust mysterious strangers in suits, but if a cool guy with goggles on a charizard abducts you, that's the start of an adventure you should definitely trust that guy!"

also this aired pretty early after s/v dropped right? cuz I did not see terapagos until the dlc dropped so maybe that's on me for not watching episode 1 of the anime,,,

anyway charizard guy hasn't introduced himself yet but I've seen him around and I like him just from his design so I know I'll stan lmao
