All shield really wants to do is protect the system but sheilds overwhelming trust issues harm rather than help most of the time. Liams tends to justify his actions to himself so what really needs to happen is for someone to bluntly tell him what he’s doing wrong and suggest alterations.

Externally, Wyatt fronts frequently and without warning. Sword’s main front trigger’s feeling that the system is in danger in any way at any level. It is, however, not hard to get shield to leave front.

Starscream’s cunning and always puts the system before outsiders. He can be quite dramatic and takes pride in that fact. It will, however, always acquiesce to its “superiors” or anyone it thinks has more power than it out of self-preservation. Doesn’t stop act front plotting against them though.

Starscream usually fronts in any situation the system has to “preform” (That includes masking to a certain extent). He’s also pop into front to give advice but that’s about it for him. 

Internally, Starscream’s portion of the headspace is a surprisingly simple cottage. Though it noticeably has a lot of metal in the design. Nearby is a lovely looking outdoor theater/stage where it performs with it’s crew (either NPCs or other headmates if it can convince them).

Starscream’s source isn’t too different from canon. But it’s important to note 1. Acts hatred of Megatron was totally valid and born mostly out of preservation instincts and 2. Act didn’t particularly care about the war or held grudges against Autobots. At most they annoyed him. It wanted power, sure, but that’s more because it wanted security than anything else.
