- they’re a half-elf monk! but now that i think about it it would be kinda funny if they had a level or two in rogue

- honestly? they’re a frat boy, but one who drinks respect women (and everyone, really) juice

- complete thembo. they have a -1 int, but +5 dex and +3 cha so who’s really winning here

- seriously when i say they’re a thembo i mean it. cas can dodge bullets all day but they don’t know that a tomato is a fruit

- they’re a people person and respectful and are very much work hard play hard. i love them

PUMPKIN

- now this is a bastard right here

- he/they tiefling rogue. yes they stole that crown what about it

- very much like mollymauk tealeaf i’m not gonna lie. they’ll charm the pants off of you and run away with your whole coin pouch

- smth i love about pumpkin is 1) their last name is pye 2) they have aliases bc in nearly every town they’ve been in there’s a warrant out for his arrest

- pumpkin pye (persona), a flirty rapscallion. if they had to pick one alias to stay as, this would be that one

- apple pye, a quiet sweetheart. kinda country bumpkin-esque

- pecan pye, taciturn but honest (as he can be while using an alias and on the run from the law and generally up to no good) and a hard worker

 - underneath all the layers? he’s kinda sad and lonely, still a flirt and a rapscallion but considerably less, and sometimes he just wants to stay in bed instead of going out and getting into all kinds of trouble

- oh also! he’s self conscious about his freckles, and usually uses some kind of makeup to cover them up if hell brain is acting up/he’s causing trouble

TENJIN

- i’ll be honest i do not remember if i still have their picrew

- i do nvm

- this is tenjin! iirc they’re a drow enchanter (homebrew class my cousin made) but ig in a legal game they’d be a divination wizard

- he’s such a sweetie, oml

- fun fact he has autism! mostly nonverbal and gets overwhelmed super easily, and has a whole pouch full of trinkets that they fidget and stim with

- really fun to play actually

BEE

- she’s here to kick names and take ass, and she’s all out of names

- a whole lesbian. most of why she does what she does is to protect pretty girls

- human (shocker, i know) cleric of a storm god that i forgot to write down

- anyway!

- do no harm but take no shit is her motto. her methods may be borderline illegal, but hey, as long as the thing gets done it’s fine

- usually.

- basically her only method is swing a bat around until people talk and if the bat hits anything/anyone, well. that’s not her business

- oh yeah her bat. it’s infused with electricity and deals lightning damage as well as bludgeoning. it’s sick as hell

- she’s pretty rad

RAY

- everyone needs a weed druid

- okay but seriously. they eat every plant they come across to 1) figure out what they do (they have insanely high con dw) and 2) for magical power

- are they high most of the time? yes. are they really sad actually? also yes

- they aren’t religious, but they do worship the deity their childhood best friend (turned lover, yes) worshipped

- i might talk about that more later :)

- anyway they’re super chill and also one of the few drows i have, iirc

WALKER

- okay now we’re starting to catch up

- his name isn’t actually walker, but it’s what everyone calls him so that’s what he goes by

- he/they (wow theres a lot of he/theys huh) fallen aasimar gloom stalker ranger

- basically think of the edgiest anime boy you can imagine and go “what if he went to therapy”

- he’s such a good boy! yes they still do the adventuring thing, but make a point of going to therapy every week

- they’re making some great progress :)

- while he’s basically a witcher and gets treated like one (i.e. poorly), he just wants to settle down somewhere quiet when there’s no more evil in the world to grow vegetables where the only one around to judge him for being mute is his crow

- the picrew didn’t have a crow so please pretend that’s what the pigeon is

VAL

- valor is a tiefling fighter who came into existence bc i rewatched netflix castlevania and was super gay for striga so i made a character inspired by her

- also has autism, but in addition, she has ptsd from her days in the royal army. she’s seen some shit yall

- isn’t very good with social interactions, a lot of stuff goes right over her head and she’s just awkward as hell, but get her talking about her special interest (military tactics) and she will talk for hours. please let her

- fun fact she met her wife bc she was fishing in a bog trying to catch dinner and fished out a wholeass lady instead

- she’s buff as hell. she could use literally anything as a weapon and make it hurt

UNNAMED WIZARD

- i don’t have a name for them yet BUT i do know that they’re a bitch

- yet another he/they, this time we have a neutral evil wizard who doesn’t care who gets hurt as long as they get results for their experiments

- think albedo genshinimpact but with almost no morals

- yes he’d cast ninth level spells on his party if he was researching something. no he would not feel remorse. probably

- idk i haven’t fleshed him out yet i just know that he’s a bitch

MOUSE

- finally! my favorite character on this list

- this is maisy, but she’s so tiny that everyone calls her mouse

- when i say tiny i mean she’s a halfling and also seven years old. she’s fucking little

- little human druid girl who basically raised herself in the forest and can & will make friends with literally any animal she comes across

- her arcane focus is her flower crown, which also has berries growing on it. they grow back every time she picks one to give to her friends :)

- she’s so fucking pure oh my god. actual cinnamon roll and everything that’s good in this world

- her rat’s name is rat. he’s her friend :)

- and also dog sized compared to her it’s hilarious. she has a little leash for him made of vines and particularly spry twigs

i downloaded firealpaca yesterday and wanted to try making a gif, so i thought i’d try it w some art i already did, and figured i’d post it here!

so we played the first session of Mod Ash’s campaign a few days ago and this scene still haunts me, despite being generally pretty mundane.

This takes place right after a fight with some merrow (whose bodies I was too lazy to draw lmao), and Whit was doing the rounds healing the injured (bc, he’s the dedicated healer, being a celestial warlock, a paladin (he hasn’t been able to take his oath yet), and carrying around a staff of healing that was gifted to him), y’know, makin sure everyone’s doing okay. Turns out he heals using his staff as a contact point, and it’s a little bit off-putting to his party members.

Whoops we forgot the blog existed lmao. Shite’s been right crazy recently, lemme tell ya (stuff happens so much all the time). But hey, we’re back and livin’ life, so here we are, posting again. Probably.

We’ve been busy in the meantime, and we’ve collectively come up with fourteen new characters (three of which already existed but we just haven’t talked about them yet). As of right now, they’ve all kinda formed parties, but they aren’t officially in parties yet, so right now they’re just kinda vibin together. So, we have:

she’s a half orc, and is kinda a troublemaker but generally just kinda does her best

she loves her dads and brother so much, you have no idea. has absolutely punched people to defend her family

at first, when whit found him, he would refuse to leave whit’s side and was, for all intents and purposes, just a shadow

but!! he got over most of his anxiety and grew into Cloud, the rambunctious, excitable sweetheart who’s in trouble as often as he is out of it

one time he was showing maria some cool parkour and she tried it and broke her arm and he hid in his room and cried for a couple hours straight. he’s baby

ABRAXAS

Fell in love twice and wasn’t expecting it either time.

He/Him, sexuality is a mystery but that doesn’t matter because he’s just here to have fun.

ARI

ari is half elf, half fey

and boy oh boy does she live up to the trickster fey archetype

so ari is a multiclass warlock (archfey)/bard (college of glamour), for the sole purposes of being as much of a bastard as possible to as many people as possible

sexuality? she doesnt know! only one person has really bothered sticking around long enough for her to make friends, much less fall in love (but she did that too)

how does so much bastard fit into such a small body. what the fuck.

seriously she’s 4’9 and has played tricks on probably a third of the people on the continent, plus about half the people in the feywilds

probably has more than a few warrants out for her arrest tbh

but despite all that, she really does care about the few people who don’t hate her, and she’s learning how to not fuck up social interactions

vlad, rome and lazlo

VLAD 

Tiefling Blood Hunter who’s here to kick ass and maybe try to help out those he can while he’s at it. Also a *huge* bookworm, and likes to share his book collections with Rome when the two make it back around to his home.

Pollux “Vladimir” Castor, though Vlad works just fine.

Genderqueer and the big gay, he/him or they/them please

Very much a romance without sex and sex without romance kinda lad

This causes issues with Rome sometimes, bc they had a bad first time together (subdrop, babey), but it’s okay bc they’re working things out (Though I can’t promise Vlad will ever be a sex and romance kinda person)

Fun fact: Vlad’s descended from the last living God Makers, much like a couple other characters who I’ll mention eventually.

It’s actually kinda a big deal in the world of WotOG bc, the Old Gods are dying and the God Makers are trying to replace them. Cool stuff, will explain later ovo

(It’s actually why the campaign is called Wrath of the Old Gods)

ROME

poor thing would rather be curled up with a few big ol books but instead they’re here in some dirty sewer hiding from the oversized rats that vlad is currently killing

they get panic attacks a lot, but luckily they have someone to help them through it. thanks vlad

they’ve been sheltered all their life, only ever having books to keep them company, so eventually they decided enough was enough and set out to go learn what they can from actually being out in the world

they then realized that out in the world is not a fun place to be, but they made a friend (and later fell in love with him) so maybe it’s not so bad after all

LAZLO

Writer-turned-vampire who made a pact with a vampire lord bc he wanted his vampire smut series to be accurate.

He’s a warlock! But also he owns a bookstore and writes a semi-popular smut series following an Enby protagonist (of colour! Their name is Quincy and they’re doing their best) as they traverse the land of the fey to save their best friend’s life. And also romance happens. It’s pretty lighthearted, up until some shite goes down in book three and now Quincy’s in the middle of territorial disputes between a number of vampire houses. (Note: This will probably never be written so like, make it up in your head I guess, whoops)

Became buddies with Rome bc they showed up regularly to his bookstore, and eventually dropped that he wrote one of their favourite book series. And then offered to let them read through his drafts for a spin-off following one of the vampires.

Fell in love with Rome at some point and had to meet Vlad, which was fine until Vlad threatened Lazlo if he ever so much as thought about hurting Rome (bc Rome deserves the best and Vlad recognizes that Lazlo will do Rome a hell of a lot better than he ever did them) (hey, ash here. my heart)

At some point also ends up roping Vlad into falling for him, so now Lazlo has two wonderful nerds (one of which could snap him like a twig (and he’d thank Vlad too)) who he loves dearly.

xidove lia and ludwig

XIDOVE 

Large boy, big boy. Ex-Military (he deserted after realizing he was committing war crimes in the name of glory) Gunslinger Goliath who just wants to make up for the terrible, *awful* things he did during his service and leave the world better than he found it. He’s got a big ol’ dire wolf companion named Argo, and keeps a saddle on him so Lia has a place to rest while they’re travelling. He’s got a big soft spot for dogs, flowers, and anything that looks really soft and delicate. Makes his way ‘round North every couple years to pay a visit to a dear old friend of his, and does his best not to cry. (He fails)

Gunslinger baby, though if you don’t consider Crit Role classes to be viable, he’s just a fighter with a knack for crossbows. 

Doesn’t know if he’ll ever love again tbh

Oh yeah did I mention he was deeply in love with his best friend? Yeah. He named his dog after them.

LIA

Tbh? Haven’t expanded on him much (bc I’ve been focused on some other kids 0v0), but just know he’s here bc orcs and half-orcs need more love and appreciation in the world. (also bc they’re sexy)

lugo isa and caine

LUGO

My boy, blind in one eye and refusing to die. He’s a witcher from the Viper school and doesn’t take shit from anyone, though he’s also pretty quiet around towns and stuff. Doesn’t wanna start things. Can’t remember much abt him rn, whoops. Oh right, he wanted to be a bard for a while, but couldn’t bc, witcher.

Outside of any Witcher aus, Lugo’s a fire genasi blood hunter who is constantly telling people not to play with his hair because that's actual literal fire thanks. Also he’s either got heterochromia or he’s snowblind in one eye. We’ll see abt that.

CAINE

My trans man bastard who’s here to have fun and cause mischief. Also from the Viper school, he’s a year behind Lugo and is also Lugo’s self-proclaimed best friend. Fell in love with Lu at some point and kinda pushed that to the side for a good long while. Made friends with Isa out of *spite* and now lives happily with his boyfriend and his girlfriend out on the coast. It’s nice, it’s easy, and there’s a drowner problem he’s happy to solve.

Outside of any Witcher aus, Caine’s a half-orc blood hunter who’s functionally illiterate but it’s fine bc who needs to read when you travel and have two very capable literate travelling companions? (even though isa can’t see lmao) One very capable literate travelling companion!

ISA

her full name is isabella caballero and she’s technically a princess but. technicalities

she’s blind, but that doesn’t stop her from being a cool sorceress and an overall good person

she helped her boyfriend get a boyfriend, and then realized years later that she’s also in love with her boyfriend’s boyfriend

so yeah they’re all dating
