Hello, could you tell us more about the MC ? Do they have family ? What do they study in college ? What are some set facts about them ? Were there any prior signs of this sudden bloodlust ?

The MC kinda has a family, but their abusive mom is dead and their dad is a deadbeat. I’m planning on allowing for the player to choose what they study in college. Some set facts about them are that they do mourn their mom despite her awfulness, they love Delilah (the player can’t change this, though they can choose if it’s platonic or romantic), and they fucking hate Max, Delilah’s bf. And no, there weren’t any prior signs of this sudden bloodlust ;)

Will MC show a little bit of red flag signs before the murder in the prologue? And show other behaviors like stalker-ish vibe to others, maybe to Delilah (to keep her safe 100%). Would Delilah feel closer to MC since they were furious enough to kill her cheating boyfriend? I could imagine 'fans' dressing up as MC's killer persona during Halloween.

The MC has a lot of anger/grief in the prologue, but that’s about all of the red flags they have at the beginning. As for if they can have other bad behavior, like stalking, I hadn’t considered that before but I’ll think on it 🤔

As for Delilah, she finds a kind of twisted gratitude/satisfaction in the fact that the MC killed for her. So yeah, I’d say she feels closer to them after the prologue.

It’s funny enough that you mention Halloween, because that’s the date that the murder goes down haha.

Yeah, A definitely sticks out from the rest of the cast in terms of their age haha. But they're a seasoned, accomplished detective, so I figured that 38 was a good age for them.

As for their reaction to the serial killer they're hunting being a college kid, well, you'll be able to discover this in-game ;)

As a toxic yuri connoisseur myself, I have to admit that Delilah's romance is not really toxic. Sure, it's a bit... unhinged, but it's actually probably the healthiest route in the game 😭

With that being said, it's still blood-thirsty, deranged yuri, which I hope you will also enjoy anon ;)

I'm curious about their family and childhood. Did something happen to them in the past? Something traumatic? Do they have a good family?

The MC does NOT have a good family life rip. Their dad was a deadbeat who ditched them when they were young, and they grew up with a resentful mom who was extremely emotionally abusive (and even sometimes physically abusive). Recently, she died, which they have very complicated feelings about. So there’s been an anger bubbling beneath the surface even before their first murder.

You’re able to choose how you kill Max, yes.

The three options I have planned right now are hitting him in the head with a beer bottle, drowning him in an apple bobbing bin, and punching him into blunt force trauma.

I always wanted to include a detective RO, but I wasn’t sure if it would be possible to give them and the MC a ‘good’ ending, so I held off on it. But now, I have a new grasp on A’s character, and I’m more confident that I can create a ‘good’ ending for their romance. So I’ve added them as an RO. Their route should definitely be interesting :)

As for What Lovely Bones, I also miss that IF 😭

Yep! And the MC had better watch their step too, because this detective is like a bloodhound when they’re on a hunt. They’ll stop at nothing to find the MC when they get put on the case.

Is the story modern fantasy? Does this bloodlust have some… unnatural origin?

The story isn’t a modern fantasy, nope. The MC is just off their rocker haha. When they kill Max (Delilah’s shitty boyfriend), they find that they actually like it a lot.

The MC and Delilah are 21, Sebastian is 22, A is 38, and H is 20.

What kind of killer can we be? Are we able to choose our morals? To say “lol imma kill that guy” or can we be Dexter, and target people for specific reasons?

Yes, the MC will absolutely be able to choose their morals! Their bloodlust remains there, but they can choose whether to target people for reasons they deem justifiable and or not. For example, the MC could choose to kill a guy who beats his wife, or they could choose to kill some random guy who annoyed them a bit too much on a bad day. It’s a spectrum.

When I read summary I was excited that we get to be the killer (or a killer) instead of the victim. So is MC a serial killer after the prologue? And will they have certain killing methods?

Yep, the MC becomes a serial killer through the duration of the game. The murder that takes place in the prologue is the first of several ;). And yes, they’ll be able to have certain killing methods! At least, that’s my plan as of right now.

Thanks for your kind words! The MC is definitely a huge red flag haha. Whether they embrace that or try to fight against it is up to them, but it’s still a part of who they are.

As for a random fact about H, I’ll give you two:

1) If it’s Hugo, he’s his father’s pariah, but if it’s Helga she’s the apple of her father’s eye.

2) Part of the reason that H worships the MC’s serial killing persona so much is because of who one of their victims is.
