👉Life can certainly dish out the curveballs sometimes.... That’s just the way it is I guess. But, what I’ve learnt over the years and dealing with some pretty full on shiz is that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. That say had always annoyed me, but now I really appreciate it’s true meaning. We get kicked. We get knocked down. We feel like there’s no way out. But from the darkness of the deepest pit of despair, a minute ray of light bursts through. A glimmer of hope that gives you just the little push you need to drag yourself up and try again. Without those challenges, without those moments of utter despair, there’s no way I would be as strong and as proud of who I am right now! I’m certainly not perfect. A long way from it, but I’m a thousand times better for my challenges. Super excited about all the amazing things I’ve learned the last week during the conscious & sustainable living workshop!! I thought I was pretty switched on with my environmwntal impact, but I had only really been dipping my toes into the ocean on that one!! There are so many ways we can start to make changes to reduce the impact we have on our environment. For me, it’s been simple things like replacing my plastic Tupperware water bottles with aluminum bottles, replacing the plastic shampoo & conditioner bottles in the shower with a shampoo bar & beauty water, replacing my washing powder with strong alkaline water, replacing mouth wash with strong acidic water. Each step we take makes a difference!! A super proud and emotional moment for me tonight. One of my amazing sponsor children, Valerie from Burkina Faso has just graduated the Compassion Program. Colin and I have sponsored her for the last 13.5 years to be able to attend school and support her family. It’s such a blessing to be able to support someone less fortunate and see the real impact sponsorship has on a child’s life over the years.
