On the Blog

Hi guys, gals, others, and anyone who actually cares enough to stop scrolling. Normally I would put something like this under a read more, but as I want to continue the illusion that this blog is deleted in stay of me not actually being able to click a single button I am going to clog up your dashes with some words. And oh yeah. The blog is locked. You can’t and will never be able to get there again unless there is some sort of divine intervention in my brain.

Because basically I’m done with tumblr, among other things, but we’ll just be talking about the future of this blog for now.

I feel like I’ve said this a lot over the past 6 months, but trust me when I say things are very real for me right now. This is probably the single worst decision I can make at this time, and perhaps that’s just a sign that I’m a little too self aware regarding my own position, but regardless I am going to drop off the radar in the same nondescript way I dropped onto it. You can ask me why, and the simple answer would be a lack of muse or motivation, but in reality I have no idea what benefits I have to gain from doing this. If I don’t already speak to you off of tumblr and you are so inclined, please don’t try to find me off of here. 

That being said, this community alone has given me the strongest sense of belonging I’ve ever felt in my life. While that feeling hasn’t remained persistent, I think it would be wrong of me to not thank you all for the wonderful support you’ve given to a stranger and the silly / dramatic plots we’ve had going on around here over time. Special thanks goes out to the crew who are still here from the @ask-king-jarvan days. Without you guys making me feel so welcome as someone portraying what was basically an OC I wouldn’t have had the courage to pick up my true muse in Master Yi. I could thank specific people, but I’m sure you all know who you are.

And Yi is a muse I am not going to easily shake so long as I still have a conscious thought in my head, so maybe you’ll see me back sooner rather than later, but it won’t be on this blog most certainly. You’ll see me come back on a new blog if I ever decide to come back, but that’s not something I want to think about at this time. I can’t hide in the fantasy world any more, it seems.

So whether I see you again in a months time, or whether I see you never again, I wish everyone reading this all the best. I may not know you from a bar of soap, but I do genuinely wish more good for you than I do for myself. Maybe it means little from someone who has all but resigned themselves to a life of laying in bed all day, but I’d like to hope, just a little bit, that to someone my words as Yi-Mun the person mean more than my words as Master Yi the Wuju Bladesman. So in saying all this...
