Book Review: The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

Rating: 2/5 stars

Review: Although this book is regarded a classic by many, I found it hard to remain interested in the characters which the book centers around. The plot was interesting enough, but until the end of the book, the narrator always seems detached and holds himself apart from the rest of the cast, so I wasn't able to connect with them as well as I would have liked for a book that is focused mostly on the characters and their relationships.

Book Review: Scarlet Odyssey by C.T. Rwizi

Rating: 4/5 stars

This book had a perfect combination of interesting characters, interesting setting, and an intriguing plot. I loved that this book really allowed the reader to explore this in-depth world and its customs, legends, and magic systems. It could be hard to follow at times for some, but I think the author did a remarkable job of drawing the reader into this world. I enjoyed each POV in the book and the plot had just enough mystery and suspense to keep me intrigued.
