I'm really close with one of my teachers and he's been trying to help me with my depression, anxiety and family problems. This hit me like a ton of bricks and now I'm crying, but I think this is a prime example why you should try to talk to your teachers on another level than student-teacher. (I'm not saying to be inappropriate by any means) At the end of the day our teachers are humans too. They have wisdom they can share with you to help you be the best version of yourself. If anyone thinks it's weird that's their opinion. If it helps you continue to do it.
