ID: [A digital drawing of Remus, with Klingon face features, curly brown redish hair picked up in a high bun, and green long sleeve t-shirt with black pants. The background is a block of colors mainly blue with red and green accents. There is a text box coming from Remus which says "I'm fine, not exactly the penetration I was hoping for, but a boy's gotta take what he can get"]

It's hard to say. Regardless, he refuses to quit debunking the ghosts until he can make it home to his own husband. Content Warnings: Injury, Swearing, Innuendo, Religious Talk, Implied Past Homophobia Featuring: Logan, Patton, Virgil, Remus and Emile. Virgil/Remus and Logan/Emile

[ID: Logan from sanders sides is standing next to a window, expression a mix of surprise and fear. He is standing inside a building and looking at the writing done in blood thats written on the inside of the window. The writting spells 'RUN'. Beside the text there are additional bloody handprints surrounding the letters. There is a bush on the outside of the building. The bush's leaves look very similar to hands. The picture is in grayscale, except for the writing, which is in red.]
I had the pleasure and honor partnering with @starlocked01 for the @xts-reverse-bangx . Can't wait for you to read the story! They did a phenomenal job!!!!

Hey!!! I'm doing a thing!!!
I've noticed that bunch of writers (myself included) are feeling down about our writing, and dealing with art block, so I propose a rally! And since I don't know what else to do, I'm offering the top 5 people a fairy made custom and mailed to them as a prize. You get one point for each *engaged* comment you leave on a fic (specific moments you like, asking questions, etc) or sending asks to the author. Keep a list of screenshots that show your name and the name of the fic to be submitted at the end.
Let's say until the end of June 👀
Rules:
no more than 2x comments per fic so we're reading lots of them.
Please be honest and fair; the spirit of this is the read NEW fics that you may have heard of or skimmed but not actually gotten to yet.
No offence to the big blogs but the hope is for some smaller creators to get new engagement.
Please tag me/reply to this post with your fics, your friends's fics, and we'll get a list going of ones to check out. (Also if you could copy/paste or write up a little summary that would be super sexy.

What are your top five nonfiction books?
Oh this is a hard one XD. Bc while i started reading some this year i can't say i really enjoyed most of them. So most of these will be based more on nostalgia rather than current reads.
The big encyclopedia for teens i had as a preschooler. I don't remember the author but these books are what ultimately made me go into science.
'The beautiful number' (or some title to this akin, i've been trying to find the book in my room for like an hour but i'm out of luck it seems) - haven't actually finished this one yet but it details how weirdly intertwined math is. Specifically it showcases specifically how our understanding of structure and beauty often employs the number φ.
Ok, this position is probably the kind of book you were expecting with the question - George Orwell 'Notes on Nationalism' - I'm going to say this is my fave book i read this year (well, on par with 'Doctor's order by Diane Duane but i am biased there as a star trek nerd). Well, to be fair i'm also biased here bc Orwell's world view isn't that far from mine so it was a very ego striking read. Though it did make me rethink my approach to art (weirdly enough).
Groth and form by D'arcy Wentworth Thompson - so ok, i juuuuuuuust started to read this book, but i am rather excited over it bc it showcases biology, which i have always had trouble understanding, through the lenses of physics and mathematics, which i do feel slightly more in tune with. So it's getting it place on the list purely bc I hope I fill finally understand how the hell biology works. (ok, i know the book is old and in many places most likely outdated but i still think it is worth the read given how much it influenced science)
'The problem that has no name' - Betty Friedan. This has been a very insightful read for a european from the former east block as the stories of the american's fifties are *very* different to the stories from Poland fifties i kept hearing growing up.
