Update once again for the Rating Gun for version 1.5!
I've managed to get a hold of Lynx, so here's her score!
And now the three new characters to version 1.5, Hanya, Argenti, and Huohuo!
Now, Huohuo is interesting, as we also get a small tidbit of extra text from the Rating Gun. 0 points to 5 points, most likely referring to Huohuo herself and Tail.
This is also, shockingly, our first instance of two duplicate numbers, with either Tail or Huohuo sharing a number with Jingliu and Welt, 0 points and 5 points respectively!
(This is quite similar to the added text for Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae's text as well.)
So, when you talk to the rating gun in Herta Space Station, it rates the characters, though the rating criteria is blatantly unclear.
When rating the main Trailblazing team, MC got 84 points, Dan Heng got 88, and March 7 has a mysterious "Rating invalid" message.
What the HELL is this thing's rating criteria?? At first I thought it might be something related to story importance, but Welt is scored at an ASTONISHING 5 points.
So what is it rating? Strength? I don't think that's right either, though... attempting this with some other characters, Seele got 33, while Natasha got 32.
Of course, I can't test this with characters I don't have, so y'all will have to bear with me a little on this!
The highest score I've been able to find with my characters was Yanqing at a whopping 99 points, and Pela a close second at 93.
Herta was placed even LOWER than Welt, at a tiny 4 points...
...while Hook is one point higher than Welt, at 6 points.
The rest of the characters I had rated as such:
Seems pretty standard, kind of? But then I got to Sampo.
...what? This is the same rating as March 7--a character I can understand being unable to be rated due to her "mysterious past" or whatever you would want to call it.
See, I already suspected that Sampo would be an important character later--everything about him screams suspicious, but this is on a different level. His actions on Jarilo IV is what lead us to save the planet, after all--us finding him, him taking us to meet Gepard, him taking us AND Bronya to the Underground, letting Bronya figure out the truth so she can take action, bringing Natasha to us so we don't die, etc, etc.
Not even MENTIONING the fact that he knows about the Astral Express, meaning he's definitely at least a space traveler, just like we are. Just... what the hell is up with this guy??
Okay this is my HSR blog but I HAVE to add on to this somewhere
Venti calls him blockhead. Didn't Guizhong also call him something along the lines of "muscle for brains"?? Or like, she's the brain to his brawn, etc...
Zhongli has a LOT of experience due to the amount of years he's lived, learning and watching nations grow, but by god if he is not an idiot and menace at heart
I’m tired of people acting like Zhongli is a serious and chill guy who would never cause problems on purpose as if he isn’t one of the biggest menaces out of the Seven. He used to throw mountains at Venti for annoying him. He, the god of history, starts fights among historians for shits and giggles. He tried to gaslight the Traveler into thinking he was totally not at the Chasm guys really Aether/Lumine you must be seeing things maybe you should go see Baizhu. When Qiqi wanted “Cocogoat” milk he was like “Oh yeah sure totally let’s go look for it” knowing damn well it was a wild goose chase. He made the Traveler sing to a flower and then was like “Oh would you look at that” when a Whooperflower jumped out to maul them. I love him. He’s like a cat pushing things off the counter to see how people react. I would pay to see him interact directly with Neuvillette because I know for a fact he’d get on that man’s nerves and argue about water tasting just to feel something. Furina used freedom from godhood to take a nap and Zhongli used it to give psychic damage to anyone who talks to him longer than 5 minutes. Iconic.
Hey guys, it's been a while, but here's another update to the Rating Gun!
A big thing is that Bailu, Sushang, and Clara have all received scores now! For Clara, is seems like it is rating either Clara then Svarog, or the other way around.
Dan Heng (Imbitor Lunae) gains an additional text after the inital scoring, making him rather unique.
Dan Heng also received an update to his rating in his normal form! Changing from the normal "!" to the "?" after HSR's version 1.2 update.
And here are the other new characters!
I unfortunately do not have Lynx or Fu Xuan, so if anyone is able to provide those scores, I'd be grateful! until then...
Once again, I'm missing Lynx and Fu Xuan, but I hope this is helpful to those of you that want to see all of the Rating Gun scores in order!
Until next time!

I won't be talking about every single voiceline in here since some are just the same as the English translation, but I wanted to make note of some interesting Korean translations!
IMPORTANT NOTE: I grew up speaking Korean and did not learn it "officially". Because of this, there may be some mistranslations on my part, though I'll try to be as accurate as possible!
With that out of the way, translations under the cut!
Greeting: "So, what are you doing this time? If you give me money I'll do it, and... well, even if you don't give me money, I'll do it anyway. Either way, Just tell me, friend!"
Parting: "Now, when it's time to rest, you should rest. Sigh*1 There's no reason to be suspicious of me, friend! I won't run away."
*1 He sighs like, that Korean affectionate-sigh that you'd do around people you love or young kids, kind of like an admonishment but lovingly? A bit difficult to explain.
Annoyances: "I sell people what they want, but they call me a con man! Wouldn't you be angry?"
Knowledge: "Can you tell me how you got to the Snow Plains? Flight?* Don't even try to tell me that you took a car, I won't believe you!"
*As in did you fly
About Svarog: "If someone ever manages to strike a deal with Svarog, THIS SAMPO*, will respect them!
*It's not entirely uncommon to refer to yourself in the third person in Asian languages such as Japanese or Korean. In this case, it's used to emphasize the referement to himself.
About Seele: "With Miss Seele, she would rather hit me than yell at me*. Between Miss Seele and I, which one is the problem?"
*Bit unsure about this translation. I'll edit this post later if it turns out something needs to be changed!
About Gepard: "We see each other pretty often, with Gepard chasing after me, and I running away. We've been doing this Tom and Jerry game* for a while, so it's pretty fun, hehehehe.
*Yes, he literally references Tom and Jerry.
Other interesting Korean translation notes:
He refers to March 7 as 동생 (dongsaeng) which in Korean means "little sibling". This doesn't mean that he sees March 7 as family, but can be used as an affectionate term for someone younger than you. Thought it was cute to mention!
If I run into any more Korean tidbits, I'll edit this post, but for now that's it! Hope you guys enjoyed reading this!
If you have requests for a character, let me know!
What gets me about this is just like, how vehement Sampo says this. He portrays himself as lighthearted and utterly pathetic, but he calls Wildfire "artless stubborn fools", while still interacting with Natasha and Seele.
I think it's clear he's referring to Seele and possibly Natasha here as well, but who knows?
I don't have any theories yet, but it's just interesting to me.
Addition to the "Rating Invalid" characters, we have Jing Yuan!
Now this is every character currently available and playable in the game, barring Clara, Bailu, and Sushang, as those characters simply do not have any numbers or ratings written for them at all, possibly unadded in the current release of the game (1.0).
We're still very unsure about what the rating parameters are, but... still very fascinating to think about!

Huh... very based, though I do wish they'd actually INCLUDE a nonbinary/other option for main character/pronoun usage, but whatever, this is a pleasant surprise!
so idk if anyone's posted about this yet but i haven't seen it so i'm gonna make a post - remember when sampo says 'i learned a technique that hides my footprints'
well, i noticed that if you run around in the snow, all the characters actually do leave footprints
for example: stelle, herta, and dan heng
BUT NOT SAMPO
im not going anywhere with this except to say that its such a cool little detail that they bothered to actually include. this game is pretty darn meticulous
Hey, Sampo's Eidolan 4 is kind of terrifying though? No light in his eyes, and the fact it's called "The Deeper the Love, the Stronger the Hate"...
Like, we all know Sampo's hiding something, and I will put up my entire smorgasbord of plushies that when we figure out he's a Stellaron Hunter or Masked Fool member or what may have you, that he's gonna show a scary side to us.
HUUUHHHH YOU'RE SO RIGHT AND THE FACT IT COULD ALSO BE A CUTOFF CONSIDERING HOW ELIPSES WORK??
It could GENUIENLY be Sampo just cut off?????
