Since the ai accusations are still being thrown around, here's how i personally like to use these GASP ai telltales. 🦄✨

Em Dashes (—)

To emphasize a shift / action / thought.

They're accusing us—actually accusing us—of using AI.

To add drama.

They dismissed our skills as AI—didn't even think twice, the dimwits—and believed they were onto something.

To insert a sudden thought. Surely they wouldn't do that to us—would they?

To interrupt someone's speech. "Hey, please don't say that. I honed my craft through years of blood and tears—" "Shut up, prompter."

To interrupt someone's thoughts / insert a sudden event.

We're going to get those kudos. We're going to get those reblogs—

A chronically online Steve commented, “it sounds like ai, idk.”

Semi Colons ( ; )

To join two closely related independent sentences / connect ideas.

Not only ChatGPT is capable of correct punctuation; who do you think it learned from in the first place?

Writecamp day 10 (yes i know i'm late oops)

thank you @jay-avian for tagging me! i write this immediately after being tagged but just didn't like it; picked two prompts. thank you @agirlandherquill for hosting this, it truly helped me write something after a while :)

i'd invite any and all of my mutuals to participate and tag me in it if you do! i'd love to see your take on these prompts :)

the prompt i chose was:

the weight of weakness (a bit on the nose in this excerpt, but here we go):

please don't mind any spelling or grammar errors, wrote this half asleep.

Will stilled his movement. “You wouldn’t,”

“Oh, I so would,” Nico straightened.

Dangerous, might be the better synonym for him at this moment.

“Please don’t do this to me,” Will whispered

Mean, too.

“I’m afraid it’s not something I can delay, love,” Nico said sweetly, acting as if his warm expression and warm voice could hide what he was about to ruin.

dear prudence [ a happy, emotional letter // beatles reference bc idk how to describe this, it's just all the loveliness in the world ]

i implore y'all to read these, if anything of mine, to get to know my writing style or wtvvv i think these are most/what i wish to be representative of me :)

What’s your biggest aspiration in life ?

genuinely? to be able to laze around and do wtv i want without any worries; don't want employment but want money, basically 💀

but i fear realistically, it's just to have a lil library/coffee shop vibe going, that's enough to financially sustain me (mentally and emotionally it will for SURE)
