Unpopular opinion: I really don’t get why people write about a ship… just to break it up at the end.

Like… why you develop this characters and their romance so much… if you're only going to separate them in the end? There isn't even a strong plot for justifying the angst. I find it unnecessary.

I know some folks like those stories, but I just don’t vibe with it—maybe one day I will.

I've been reading a lot of Wolverine comics lately!!!

I only have two things to say.

1. Wolverine's stories with Punisher are amazing !!!

2. For some reason, the universe always ends up giving me Poolverine in the most random stories!!!

For example !!! Marvel Universe Vs Wolverine !!!

It all starts with a random virus that turns people into primitive beings. To be honest, they look more like zombies!!!

Wolvie immediately jump into action and try to get a cure !!! But to do so, he will have to make some sacrifices like killing the X-Men.

Eventually, Wolverine has to protect the few scientists who can find the cure!!!

It’s in this part !!!! That WADE appears!!! Deadpool is alive! And ready to help him fight against the infected Hulk !!!

At the end of the battle against all the infected heroes, only Wolvie, Cap America, Punisher and Deadpool remain!!!

PD: Deadpool was the first one to go rescue Logan 👀

After regrouping, Wolvie sends Wade to spy on the infected!!!

In retrospect, I think Wolvie knew the truth about Deadpool all along !!!

DEADPOOL WAS ALWAYS INFECTED !!! 💀

But thanks to his healing factor, Wade could think and maintain his composure. He was constantly fighting the urge to eat meat, but he stayed calm for the sake of the team!

With the information from the infected, Deadpool returns to Wolvie and the others.

This is when Wolvie pulls Wade aside for a private talk!

The whole scene is wonderful 🥹

Logan’s words, along with his sad expression when he recognizes Wade’s condition, are really powerful!

Also, the look of resignation and vulnerability on his face when he asks for Wade’s help, really hurt me.

Finally, we have to talk about Wade's silence during Wolverine’s Speech. He knows that there is a lot at risk and he knows that Logan needs him, that's why he prefers to fight against the virus!

Deadpool decided to stay by Logan's side ♥️

Honestly, I never thought I'd find Poolverine in such a random story like this one !!!

Plz, can someone write a zombie Poolverine AU ???

In the fic, Logan and Wade were on a mission with the X-Men. For some random reason, Wade stays behind, and Logan goes after him. Then, for another random reason, Logan is wounded and unconscious. The X-Men want to leave him too, but Wade comes back for him and tells Scott to go to hell.

hello everyone!!! no I am not dead, I’m actually working on coming BACK but before that I just wanted to say I’m working on a little study for college (for my cultural studies in cinema class) (very specific I know).

I want to explore how fans appropriate Marvel superhero characters in fanfiction, particularly by creating non-canon same-sex relationships (especially between male characters, since that’s more common in the fandom).

It’s fascinating how certain pairings—like Stucky (Steve/Bucky), Stony (Steve/Tony), or Cherik (Charles/Erik)—gain so much traction despite never being made explicit in the films. These characters often have strong chemistry, but their relationships are confined to deep friendship or almost familial bonds. Meanwhile, the movies emphasize hypermasculinity, heterosexual relationships, and sometimes erase elements from the original comics that hinted at queerness, non-heterosexual relationships, or gender-coded traits.

I want to analyze how fan interpretations challenge or expand what the films present. I’m also planning to look at data from fanfiction platforms (like AO3, Wattpad, Tumblr) and even interviews where actors acknowledge these ships.

Does this sound like an interesting topic to you? If you read/write fanfiction, what draws you to these kinds of ships? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Watching Deadpool & Wolverine has made me notice small things in this movie that I don’t think I’ve seen people talk about.

Such as the time ripper scene where the room literally looks like their belt buckles. I have no idea if that was intentional or not, but I can’t un-see it

Logan likes kissing. Like, really likes kissing.

Every time he comes home from work and finds Wade lounging on the couch, he clambers over and presses a kiss to to the top of Wade's head, asking him about his day. When Logan finds him in the kitchen cooking breakfast, he wraps his arms around Wade from behind, kissing down his neck, asking how he slept. Right before going to sleep Logan presses a closed lip kiss to Wade's lips, another to his cheek, and it's goddamn irritating because Logan's such a fucking tease and he doesn't even seem to realize it.

Logan seems to like making out on the couch more than he likes having sex, always taking copious amounts of time to lick into Wade's mouth, suck open mouthed kisses underneath his chin, all the way down to his chest.

Of course they have sex, lot's of sex, all the time, but the soft shit? Logan does it all the time, almost like he doesn't have to think about it.

Walking two blocks down the street to the grocery store? Logan's holding Wade's hand. Riding the train? Logan's pressed up close, arm wrapped around Wade's shoulders. Busy Saturday market? Logan's pushing through the crowds, leading Wade to an open spot in the park, smiling and pressing a kiss to his forehead, asking if he wants a croissant.

It annoys Wade, not because he doesn't like it, but because it's so fucking gentle and sickly sweet and so different from the Logan he first knew who would bite Wade's damn head off and shove him up against the wall, all possessive and shit.

One day Wade asks him about it, and Logan smiles all fondly at him, cupping his cheeks, looking straight into his eyes like they're starring in a fucking hallmark holiday movie.

"Because I love you," Logan says matter-of-factly, "When I see you, I kiss you. Want my hands on you all the time. Want to make you feel good, bub."

And maybe Wade doesn't miss the possessive manhandling after all.
