Among the Elves, I am known as The Watcher...
13 posts
But you may call me Maud. I am Advisor to the Great Elven Queen Islanzadi. Ask any question, but be wary, as a werecat, I cannot promise a direct, or even logical awnser. I chose whom I speak too. -hmph-

I apologise, werecat, for my ignorance. I have been thrown into this new world far too quick and as such am still unaware of many of the goings on of Alagaesia. However, I shall still reserve my judgement on your kind until I have seen your worth with my own eyes...
-nods her head, satifyied-
Thank you, Roan Stronghammer. You have a good heart, and I understand your ingnorance is not self-inflicted. Be strong and true, and have faith in all good diminishing evil.

A werecat hmm? What use can cats be in this war of men and elves, of steel blade and armour?
-hisses, but cuts off, glaring at him with her amber eyes and speaking into his mind-
I am no mere cat. I may be smaller than a human or elf, but sometimes strength must bow to wisdow. I also have a human form, in which I do have rather superior swordmanship. To have a werecat on your side is no small matter, for we do not take sides often. And I am advisor to the Great Elf Queen. Remember that you are no longer living the life of a common warrior or farmer. Things are much more than they seem, Roan Stronghammer.
-sits on her haunches, licking one paw with great dignity-

There! A photo of me in my beautiful feline form! -half purrs in her throat- Not a sight can compare with a werecat!
Pfff. Deluded witchcat.
Hush bird! You cannot hide your jelousy -smirks, barring her fangs-
CAW! Why should I bother to hide that which is not there?
Bushy tails, mangey fur
And fangs for what’s left after.
It seems I’ve never met a cat
Who’s not prone to disaster.
Carefully they strive to feign
disinterest and misanthropy.
To all of us with eyes, we see
A fool which cannot flee the flea!
Answer that, werehag. Wyrda!
-hisses- I cannot awnser a statment, stupid White Bird. Someday your foolish cackling will get you plucked and strung like a turkey. -changes to her cat form, licking her jaws hungrily, mane ruffled indignently-
Saphira should’ve eatten you when she had the chance -hmph- And I do NOT have fleas!
Cackling, you say? Caw!
Come now, my belligerent friend. Surely you can do better than trifling threats and asinine insults.
//Flaps his wings in such a dignified way, lands on thin, whippy tree branch.
Wyrda!
Bird, here is what I have to say:
You think your words are quick and smart
But rarely stop after they start
Your fate will be in a slip of beak
With someone who failed to keep tonge-in-cheek
And your beautiful feathers you preen and you prune
Will be used to stuff pillows and on knightly plumes
So my flightly feathered friend
Stop your words before they begin.
-sits under the tree watching him with her amber eyes-
I find myself wondering who would win, should this fight come to blows…
-purrs- You needn't worry, Shur' tugal. While the White Raven and I are not eye to eye, we are that neither is dispoable. Tis a simple game of words.

-sits under the tree watching him with her amber eyes-
Dancing paws, my sometimes foe
To you who linger far below:
Your words of admiration strike
a seldom sounded chord.
My plumage be unrivaled
and I take you at your word.
But could I ever ask you
not to lurk or be a cat?
These words be in my nature
And I must adhere to that.
I could not turn my beak away
or act like other birds.
Spells are in my blood, my friend
and maybe in my words.
I agree you are no mundane bird
Who flirts in tree, who's never heard
The rhymes you speak all sound absurd
But true enough to tell a tale
Of what's in store behing the veil
Of fate and time and love and rhyme
So for now we'll stay at peace
For both shall keep our tounge-in-cheek
-blinks, her tail swishing calmly-

Hello, werecat! I was wondering What IS the difference between a raven and a writing desk?
Hmmm your mundane riddle is simple.
A raven has wings
A writing desk has words. -stifles a yawn-

-hmph- Your human depictions of me are less than satitisfactory. These clothes are much to bulky and immovable for a graceful and powerful werecat. -mumbles- Remind me to show you creatures a picture of myself...-goes off to try to gather some parchment and charcol-
