The funny thing about CaitVi is that them having sex for the first time in a prison cell is nowhere near the craziest thing about their relationship. Like it almost would have been weirder if we had seen them have sex during a tender moment in bed after going out on a nice date.

I'm imagining a world where it's the alternate AU and Zaun is in a good condition, the two cities are at peace. But Vi didn't die (and assuming the explosion also killed Caitlyn in that AU, Caitlyn is also alive). The council bans Jayce's experiments/practice of hextech and is deemed to be the cause of what happened. Vi and Caitlyn meet due to incurring injuries from the explosion and are sat next to each other in the infirmary. Because Vi was closer to it, she suffers worse injuries and is in for longer, and Caitlyn comes to see her as she recovers. When Vi is well enough to go home, Caitlyn gives her a bouquet of violets and shyly remarks, "They remind me of you." They part ways and are always in each other's minds.

Later, when they're grown, they meet again at the inventor's competition. Jayce may have been banned from practicing hextech, but he still works on inventions, having still met Viktor when he came to investigate the crime scene as he did in the original AU, thus not killing himself due to Viktor's intervention and belief in his intellect. So Jayce is participating in the competition and Caitlyn visits to support him. Vi is also there to support Powder and Ekko and her brothers with their work. They meet eyes from across the room and it's like they're teenagers again. Dancing around each other and secretly wanting more. It doesn't need to be asked if they remember each other. They do.

Vi observes that Caitlyn is now taller than her, her legs going on for miles, and Caitlyn can't stop staring at the scars on her face that she's gained from various boxing matches. As teenagers, their pull to one another was innocent and longing and curious. Now, as adults, they attract each other like magnets, and that attraction is deeper, warmer, less shy and more inquisitive and demanding.

Caitlyn kisses her in the alleyway outside where the competition is taking place. Just like every other universe, they always find a way to each other so they can be together.

quick rant about the caitvi sesbian lex scene cause whatttt (amazing perfection art btw) but DO but do people not understand subtext? Expositional dialogue? Emotional vulnerability??? Like oh my word the Vi slander is annoying like generally speaking I’ve heard people literally say it’s out of character for Vi to not give a shit about jinx, miss the suicidal tendencies etc but like imagine being in Vi’s shoes. Here you are, expecting to be reprimanded by your then ex gf because once again here you are giving people you care about the benefit of doubt, because you love them that much, because you are a selfless individual that always put the needs of others above your own. You expect to be condemned for choosing wrong. (Rightfully so) But then the tables turn Caitlyn basically admits she planned the whole ordeal, knew Vi would free jinx so ultimately when we read between the lines it’s her saying she chooses Vi above anything else is willing to let go of whatever personal grudges she had in the past towards jinx/any unresolved feelings/hatred for her sister because she loves Vi that much. It’s such a heartfelt moment, Vi realising this hence the whole being-lost-in-the-moment thing god forbid Vi allows herself to be emotionally vulnerable for once to give into her NEEDS I love that scene so MUCH because it’s the first time caitvi get to be “selfish”, instead of focusing on fighting losing battles but yeah lets say vi is a heartless pos for fucking cait in a cell ig lmao

I love Arcane because on the one hand you have this bitter, angry young woman who was kidnapped and illegally detained in a federal prison for pretty much the entirety of her teen years, and when she's finally set free she finds that nothing is as she remembers it, all the people she once knew are either gone or irreversibly changed, and she doesn't know where her place in the world is anymore.

And then on the other hand you have this rich girl nepo baby rookie cop taking two steps outside her own neighborhood and being hit with the realization that her government REALLY FUCKING SUCKS.

And they're gay.

MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR LIFE IS STRANGE

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I can’t think of a reason to save Arcadia Bay. Maybe there are a few characters that are worth keeping, Kate probably being the lone stand out, but the entirety of Arcadia Bay does not make up for Chloe Price. Let’s run it back:

Starting with the obvious, Nathan Prescott and Jefferson left a festering, blighted scar on the entire town. You saw how many folders Jefferson had. This caustic infected excuse for a life form had been doing this for YEARS.

The Prescotts, as a whole, ran the town like the Mafia. Money was the lifeblood of the town and the Prescotts were right at the goddamn center.

Victoria and her Queen Bees ran their own cult regime stemming from the Vortex club. Granted, everyone has that little spark of good in them, but eventually you have to recognize toxicity can dig very deep into an individual. Especially when that toxicity drives someone to suicide.

Chloe’s stepdad was a fascist, paranoid asshole. I know he was a veteran, but there are ways to get help for that kind of stuff. His influence drove a rift between her and her mom as well as frayed her sensitivity after her father passed. Like I said, everyone has that spark of good, but a drop of antidote won’t cleanse an entire drink of poison. He meant well, but he needed A LOT of help and he never felt like a man who would ask for any.

Blackwell as a whole needed to be burned and restarted from the ground up. The bullying culture had been ingrained too deep and having a drunkard apathetic principal did not help. So many ecological issues that could not be fixed in a decade.

The cops were so deep in the Prescotts’ pockets, they could find all of Nathan’s loose change.

There are more, much smaller problems that were all springing from these main infected regions like misogynistic and disgusting people and faulty budgeting and major infrastructure issues, but the entire game I found maybe 3 characters in the entire town that I would protect with my life. Dana, Samuel, Kate, and Ms. Grant.

That’s not enough to watch Chloe die again. Chloe got so beaten down by this town in the 5 years Max was gone and it made her question her self worth to the point that she would give her life for a city that tried so very hard to break her. Max and Chloe carried the city on their fucking backs that entire week.

Fuck Arcadia Bay. Chloe deserved to be happy.
