🇵🇸 GAZA FUNDRAISER: FAMILY OF 10 IN NEED!!

At the request of @rawangaza, I am making a post to spread awareness of their campaign.

Rawan is just 21 years old, with dreams of graduating school to become an engineer. But the genocide in Gaza has crushed those dreams, destroying Rawan's University before graduating. Now, Rawan is fundraising to evacuate their family of 10 out of Gaza!!

This family includes Rawan's parents, elderly grandmother, aunt, brothers, and their little sister: 4 year old Soso.

Soso is a very cheerful, curious and creative little girl who is going through the unimaginable. On top of the constant threat of bombings and violence, the prices of food have skyrocketed so high that no one can afford it! With the souring prices of food and the complete blockage of aid entering Gaza for over 2 straight months, it is near-impossible to find food for this entire family of 10 and for little Soso. A single bag of flour is hundreds of dollars, and could even reach up to $1,000 from what they have told me! On top of this, the little remaining food left is running out in Gaza!

No child or person should have to go to bed hungry, or worry of being in danger!!

Please share this and donate anything you can to help this family survive and eventually evacuate Gaza. Nobody should have to deal with the daily violence, famine, displacement and genocide the people of Gaza are dealing with. My family, my dear friends and everyone who knows me or not.

My name is Issam, I live in Gaza, and I'm 29 years old. Everyone who knows me knows that I am a reserved, quiet and reclusive person. I have always been an independent person and used to do everything myself for my family. So, I hope you understand that today it's difficult for me to talk about my personal issues and finally ask for help

I will tell you my story briefly, after I realized some of my dreams a short time ago by marrying my life partner and moving into my house, which we only stayed in for a few days until we were in the middle of the war, we fled to save ourselves and stay alive, we lost hope in life after all our dreams that we had dreamed of since childhood were shattered

One of our dreams was to settle in the house we built stone by stone and be happy like other couples, but we couldn't because of the war.

I used to work as a lawyer in several companies, I am unemployed, I lost my job, I have no source of income, and everything I saved I put in the house, the house was destroyed and I have nothing now.

My wife and I decided to start a fundraising campaign so that we can get some money to evacuate us after we lost everything, to rebuild our house that was destroyed by the occupation, and to get food, water and other necessities of life so that we can live first and then think about our future, which we don't know anything about.

The place where we live now is devoid of all the necessities of life, and we struggle with access to water, food, safety, and all the necessities needed to live.

I am Reem, a Palestinian from Gaza ،I am 50 years old, my husband passed away since I was not 23 years old at that time, leaving me with three children, the oldest of whom is Diana 5 years old, Issam 4 years old, and my youngest son Abdullah 10 months old, so I decided not to marry again and to devote my life to them, so I completed my education and worked as a teacher in a government school.

and raised my children until they grew up and got married and we remained until this moment in one house, supporting each other through the days in a family atmosphere and a house full of warmth and reassurance.

Until the war came and made us lose our home and the security we lived in,

as we were deported from the north of the Gaza Strip to the south, where there was no shelter except a dilapidated tent,

This is my daily struggle to light a fire and use it to prepare bread and cook food with the firewood and paper available to us in the absence of electricity and cooking gas

and I remained playing the role of father and mother until this moment and supporting my children and their children, as I also have three grandchildren.

But I regret to say that after more than a year of the ongoing war, I lost all the money I had saved and now we are in dire need of help in order to complete and provide the necessities of life, which have become competitive with the prices of gold here in the south of Gaza. We are suffering from a shortage of all the necessary necessities as there is no access to healthy food, clean water, shelter and medicine.

Suddenly, Saturday morning, it was a morning like any other. But suddenly the ground shook under our feet, and we heard a sound like thunder...and then silence. scary. it's all over! 😱💔 Shells exploded everywhere, the walls of our house collapsed above our heads 🏠💣, and deafening sounds mixed with the screams of my children 😢😢. We crawled from under the rubble with exhausted bodies and terrified hearts, running among the smoke and debris in search of safety 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️. Our house, once so full of life, is now a pile of ashes. 💔

Now we live in a small tent in which we do not feel safe or comfortable. We used to live in it before. It has no warmth. We wake up every day to the sounds of dogs and the sounds of strong winds.
