Having known Ryan for going on 3 years now, I can verify that he is a really creepy dude. I met him when I was 13 (and granted I have always looked many years older than I really am) and ever since then he has tried hitting on me, regardless of how many times I tell him how old I am. I'm 16 now and things have gotten a lot worse too since now I'm legal in the state of Iowa's eyes. I just want people to know he is not a guy to mess around with and to be careful!

This is Ryan Kopf. He is the head of multiple anime conventions under the company name Chrono, LLC. This includes Anime Zap, Anime-zing!, Anime-SPARK!, AniMinneapolis, Meta Con, Domo Con, and Anime Midwest. In addition to being shady, underhanded, and a jerk in general, he is also a confirmed rapist. Attached is the actual police report, documenting the incident. I urge you to raise awareness in any way you can. Forward this. Post its contents to Facebook, Tumblr, or whatever you use. The number of staff resigning from service of Chrono, LLC is already exponential, with one key demand for their return: Ryan Kopf must be removed from his position of power. Even guests have backed out, upon gaining the knowledge of Ryan’s reputation. Ryan has gone to extreme lengths to cover this rape case up, even blacklisting people from his conventions for bringing it up. These are not the actions of an innocent man. These are the actions of someone who is trying desperately to hide something.  He cannot stop knowledge from spreading. He cannot stop awareness from bring raised. He cannot stop the future. You— We— The people, whether you’re a con-goer or just someone who detests rapists, can make a difference. But only if we act. Now.

More proof against those who say the report is fake and more disgusting behavior from Kopf’s team.

We did some investigation on this report that appeared online earlier this year. There were some questions of validity regarding the names of the police officers. 

However if you look here you can see that Brianna Anderson is real. Here to see that Officer Outlaw is real And I’m sure if you are curious enough you can look up the rest on your own.

The report is real. We have reached out to Davenport PD for more validation and they were able to validate the report.

Now this does not mean that Ryan  Kopf is a rapist, only that he has been accused.

Some people question why the victim did not press charges or get a rape kit.

Rape kits are intrusive and violating. 

Most rape victims blame themselves.
