Our home was destroyed in the north, and we were forced to leave everything behind and embark on a harrowing journey of displacement through several cities in the southern Gaza Strip. Now, we live in tents in the heart of the region, struggling to survive and rebuild.

The war not only took our home but also our livelihoods. We lost our jobs and the means to provide for our family. But despite the hardships, we are determined to rise again and rebuild our lives. However, we cannot do it alone.

hi, it’s the anon whose coworker got fired for harassing her :)

i’m doing good! things have been so much better at work. in fact i’ve gotten really close to one of my coworkers which i what i wanted to talk to you about i hope that’s okay.

we were hanging out outside of work and she brought up how she missed this coworker and she thought it was so strange what happened and she wondered what it was. very harmless intentions, i can’t blame people for not knowing what happened i’m grateful to my boss for keeping it quiet.

however i guess i didn’t react well because she told me that my reaction told her i knew something. and i don’t think it was malicious at all because she really has no clue i was involved. and i just panicked and lied my ass off which i didn’t want to do but i just wasn’t ready.

and maybe i do want to tell her eventually? i’m nervous how she’ll react i think she’ll support me but i don’t know that. she could turn on me and blab to everyone at work and then i’d definitely have to quit.

but even if i do tell her i wasn’t ready in that moment. and now that i lied to her it makes the possibility of eventually telling her the truth much worse and more awkward.

from this ask alone, i can tell you're just not ready to deal with this rn and that's completely understandable! you're probably at the point were you just want everything to 'get back to normal' and your tired of talking about or dealing with it all the time, that's really common in situations like this. so the last thing you feel like doing is having to open up a whole discussion again. and of course there's that fear of talking about it still there, it's a vulnerable thing. you're not wrong at all. just give yourself some time, no pressure to tell anyone anything.

the only thing i would say, worst case scenario is that she's really pushy and weird and begs you to tell her. i think hat's wrong and weird of her tbh, but maybe to prepare yourself form feeling totally ambushed, just prepare a quick version of the story to give her just enough info, but still being kind to yourself. something like 'i heard he was really inappropriate with a coworker, he always gave me weird vibes anyway', or something like that idk. just mentally prepare yourself for that, not that i think it'll actually happen. just so in the wild case it does, it'll be easier on yourself to prepare.
