if you're in Europe PLEASE consider signing the Stop Destroying Games initiative. the deadline is July 31st 2025. i've posted about it before; it aims to create legislation for publishers to stop killing the games you pay for and to provide an end-of-life plan for live-service products. thank you!!!

This was a huge surprise that I'm still having trouble getting over, I cannot thank you enough Skyela :)
I made a lil Rosalina standee in secret during my last merch batch. Though unlike my Rosalina charms and stickers, this one isn't for sale.
It was in fact a birthday gift for @thekleesh :)

There's an EU initiative going on right now that essentially boils down to wanting to force videogame publishers with paid games and/or games with paid elements such as DLC, expansions and microtransactions to leave said games in a playable state after they end support, or in simpler terms, make them stop killing games.
A "playable state" would be something like an offline mode for previously always online titles, or the ability for people to host their own servers where reasonably possible just to name some examples.
I don't think I need to tell anyone that having something you paid for being taken from you is bad, which is a thing that routinely happens with live service and other always online games with a notable recent example being The Crew which is now permanently unplayable.
Any EU citizen is eligible to sign the initiative, but only once and if you mess up that's it. You can find it here. (https://citizens-initiative.europa.eu/initiatives/details/2024/000007_en)
Even if you're not European or you signed it already, you can share this initiative with anyone who is, even if they don't care about videogames specifically because this needs a million signatures and there is different thresholds that need to be met for each EU country for their votes to even count and could also be a precedent for other similar practices like when Sony removed a bunch of Discovery TV content people paid for.

I'll have a small selection of stickers, acrylic charms and small prints available. Stock is limited since they are leftover from my recent artist stall, but I am open to restocks and new items in the future.

Hey everyone! Quick little update:
I just got back from my first ever event as a merch vendor! It was a lot of work but I had a wonderful time. :)
I mentioned previously that I'll be selling the rest of my merch online via my Ko-Fi store. But first I'm going to be trialling online orders with some overseas friends just so I can get some practice in before my store opens.
The current plan is to have my store open to everybody sometime in mid-June. I'll hopefully be able to give specific dates soon.
Also! If you're unsure what merch will be available, here's a list of things I'll have on my store:
A set of 6 Holographic Acrylic Sword Charms (+ matching stickers)
A Smash Ball/Battlefield holographic sticker
Various small art prints (including this one)
I'll make a proper announcement close to and when the store opens.
Thanks! ☆

PSA: Tumblr/Wordpress is preparing to start selling our user data to Midjourney and OpenAI.
you have to MANUALLY opt out of it as well.

to opt out on desktop, click your blog ➡️ blog settings ➡️ scroll til you see visibility options and it’ll be the last option to toggle.
to opt out on mobile, click your blog ➡️ scroll then click visibility ➡️ toggle opt out option.
if you’ve already opted out of showing up in google searches, it’s preselected for you. but you also have to opt out for each blog you own separately, so if you’d like to prevent AI scraping your blog i’d really recommend taking the time to opt out. (source)
